2019 Love Island star Marvin Brooks has proven that he is not unlucky in love anymore as he stepped out onto the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival with his new model girlfriend
Former Love Island star Marvin Brooks has revealed he has found a new match after making a red-carpet debut in Cannes with his model girlfriend.
Marvin, a former Royal Navy officer from Bournemouth, appeared on the show in 2019 and tried to form connections with Maura Higgins and Amber Gill before he was sent packing. Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea went on to be crowned winners of the 2019 series.

The islander-turned-influencer likes to boast a lavish lifestyle on his social media and showed off his new girlfriend while they took a luxury helicopter ride around the south of France. Marvin panned the camera around the inside of the helicopter which was complete with stylish beige interior and wood detailing.

He then shared a snap where he sat comfortably next to his stunning girlfriend as they appeared to be enjoying a glass of champagne. Shortly after their flight, the loved-up couple attended a rooftop dinner party with more than a dozen other people. They sat on a long table topped beautifully with white flowers as they enjoyed a meal in the summer air.
Making their relationship red carpet official, they joined an array of other celebrities at Cannes Film Festival where they posed for photographers.
Marvin cut a smart figure in an all-black suit over a black shirt with the top button undone. His girlfriend looked elegant in a blue slip dress which trailed on the floor behind her. She styled the look with a slick back hairstyle and a white clutch bag.
The influencer likes to keep his followers updated through his social media and recently shared his love for golf as he declared 'Golfing season is here'.

He has also used his influence to support important causes. Back in 2020, he posed in tiny pants from House of Hames premium underwear to help accumulate profits for the bushfires in Australia.
He wrote online to his followers, "Sunday comfort! This weekend @houseofhxmes are donating 100 per cent of their profit to help the bush fires in Australia."
Jordan Hames, his friend and fellow Love Island star, owns the brand. Marvin added, "Yeah I'm proud of you creating some classy underwear for men but to also do this you've shown true class. More people like you in this world @jxrdanhames."

Love Island winners Toni Laites and Cach Mercer reveal their surprising plans for £50,000 cash prize - and it's NOT what you'd expect

The couple were crowned the winners of the twelfth series of Love Island on Monday evening. And now, Toni Laites and Cacherel 'Cach' Mercer, both 24, have revealed what they plan to spend their £50,000 cash prize on - and it's far from what you would expect. When asked how she plans to spend the money, Toni, a Las Vegas cabana waitress, candidly admitted: 'I need to pay off my student loans. I want to invest it. I don't want to go on some crazy shopping spree.' While Cach, a dancer from London, agreed with her, adding: ' Cost of living crisis, I'll save it!' Toni made history as the first American contestant to enter the UK Love Island villa, and she and Cach seem set on making their relationship work despite the transatlantic distance. The couple had a rocky beginning after meeting during Casa Amor, as it wasn't long until the pair found themselves in a major love triangle with Harrison. Yet once Harrison decided to leave the villa with Lauren, Toni set her sights on Cach, and the pair went from strength to strength. Reflecting on her journey, Toni said: 'I feel like I'm representing a whole nation! I didn't expect to make it past week one. 'Hopefully now we will just find time to enjoy one another's company and not let everything else take over.' Cach added: 'It feels amazing to win. I was 100 per cent authentically myself, and luckily, the public liked it, so I'm buzzing. 'I appreciate every moment on the show, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I wouldn't have done it any other way.' Toni will also be remembered as part of the series' fan-favourite 'Big Three' – a name coined by viewers to describe her close friendship with runners-up Shakira Khan and Yasmin Pettet, who placed second and third, respectively. She said: 'Friends I will have for life. That was a big takeaway. The girls were my rock for the eight weeks.' But it looks like Toni and Cach may be spending even more time together in front of the camera, as ITV are reportedly planning to offer the couple a spin-off show chronicling their long-distance relationship, according to The Sun. A source told the publication: 'Even without the win, Cach and Toni's story should make great TV just due to their exciting lives. 'It will also be a chance to include Shakira and Yasmin when they visit Toni and catch up on the outside.' Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment. The couple's interview follows ITV's release of the voting breakdown for the final, confirming it was the closest result in the show's history. In total, Toni and Cach received 33.5% of the vote, with Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley taking 26.2% - showing the result was a close call. Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes came third with 22% and Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood placed fourth with 18.3%. Toni and Cach won despite the bookies' odds revealing it was Harry and Shakira in the running to win, just hours ahead of the live final. And fans seemed delighted with the decision as they took to Twitter to wish the couple congratulations. They penned: 'Justice served well done Toni & Cach .. what a gentleman man he is'; 'Congratulations Toni and cach. First American and she won. Iconic moves'; 'a bombshell + a casa boy winning love island - iconic!'; 'Love island didn't disappoint with Cach & Toni winning';

Watch the moment Love Island's Harrison tells Lauren he loves her – before making awkward u-turn

LOVE Island's Harrison tells Lauren he loves her before he makes an awkward u-turn. The interaction had fans cringing and left questioning where the pair's relationship really stands. 6 6 6 The Love Island cast returned to Mallorca this week to celebrate the show's thrilling finale, with the boys and girls staying in separate villas. Footballer Harrison went live on TikTok to chat with his fellow Islanders — including new beau, Lauren. Just as the livestream was wrapping up Harrison told Lauren 'Love you bye' with Lauren replying the same. Not long after Harrison was joined by fellow Islander Ben, when he was asked by a fan if he was still with Lauren. The reality star replied: 'I am very much with Lauren.' 'Man's a lover,' Ben then chimed. Before Harrison swiftly replied: 'Now Love's a bit strong but I am with her for sure.' The u-turn had fans flooding the comments of clips of the stream reuploaded to social media, one user said: 'He just continues to embarrass her omfs.' ''Loves a bit strong but I am with her' is he serious right now ?' added another. 'He does not like her,' chimed a third. Watch as Love Island winner Toni takes final swipe at villa ex Harrison before winning £50k 'The fact that he had to say 'love is a bit strong' really irks me.. he could have just moved over that but he continues being disrespectful to Lauren,' commented a fourth. Earlier in the series, viewers watched Lauren be dumped from the villa in a brutal twist. She begged Harrison to leave alongside her - but he wasn't sure and decided to sleep on it. However, just a day later, he decided to voluntarily walk away from the villa. After leaving the villa, Harrison said his family would play a big part in whether he and Lauren would progress. Speaking on the Love Island: Morning After podcast, Harrison said: "I feel like we want to get to know each other a little bit more away from the villa. "Obviously the villa's a very secluded environment it's different on the outside so it's nice to get to know each other, go on a few dates without cameras and microphones." Looking cosy beside Lauren, he continued: "For me it was a big thing about her meeting my family before I made anything official. But I left the villa for Lauren and I do think a lot of her. I feel like we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend soon, no doubt." An extra spanner in the works is the fact Harrison is based in Miami, and he isn't sure if he wants to return to the UK permanently just yet. 6 6 6

Love Island viewing figures revealed for final as ITV2 show receives ratings boost

The viewing figures for the latest series of Love Island have been revealed, with the ITV2 reality competition's final being watched by an impressive number of fans The viewing figures for the final of the latest series of Love Island have been revealed. The ITV2 reality dating show wrapped up its latest outing on Monday night when Toni Laties and Cach Mercer were voted the nation's favourite couple and walked off with the £50,000 prize. ‌ And on Tuesday, it was revealed that the grand finale had pulled in 1.3million viewers, up 300,000 from the All Stars spin-off that aired earlier this year. Along with series 10 in 2023, the figure now holds the joint-highest position since series eight, which was won by Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu in 2022, and pulled in a solid three million viewers. ‌ The latest series has seen the highest number of complaints to Ofcom since the 2022 series. A total of 9,339 complaints were made to the broadcasting regulator in this vein whilst a further 298 were made about the way Blu spoke to Toni. ‌ Elsewhere, there were 55 complaints about Megan returning to the villa following her democratic dumping and a further 29 complaints expressed their concern for Harry following his breakup with Helena as he opened up about his feelings for Shakira. It comes after Harry's weird fetish on the show had fans left feeling disgusted for a very specific reason. ‌ One Islander to face criticism from viewers was Harrison, who quit the series three weeks before the final. Amid his stint on Love Island, a spokesperson for the women's charity issued a statement to the Tab, which included mention of women being "lied to, slut-shamed and manipulated, as well as laughed at behind their backs" during their time on the show. Harrison then addressed the "backlash" in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying he has found it "hard to digest". He told the outlet: "I would disagree with a lot of it in terms of my respect for women, I do respect women." He said that the "worst" reaction had been from Women's Aid. He said: "I know myself and the girls on the show too, Toni said she knows I'm not a bad person, just went about situations in the wrong way, but the Women's Aid statement wasn't nice ... it's not nice coming out of the villa to my mum upset by that so I would say that's been the hardest." Harrison said that he is "sorry" to the women that he has "hurt," before saying that he "got it wrong". He added that the "back and forth" between his connections with Lauren and Toni ended up causing "more harm" than he intended. He however said that it wasn't "an ego thing". The former islander said he isn't proud of the way he handled things in the villa and won't "make excuses". Harrison said that he just wants to "own it" and assured: "If people can give me the space to grow from it, I will do everything I can to be better, and that's the only thing I can do."
