They rammed into a police car that was pursuing them before being apprehended at a traffic light in Batu 3, Jalan Apas, at 1.45pm. Advertisement Tawau Deputy District Police Chief Supt Champin Piuh said the first suspect was identified as a 25-year-old local, while the second was an 18-year-old foreigner. 'Initial urine tests conducted by the district Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division (BSJND) found both suspects positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine. 'The police also discovered two transparent plastic packets containing crystal-like substances suspected to be syabu (meth) weighing 5.13gms, which were found inside a fabric pouch under the suspects' 4WD vehicle.
