When it comes to talking straight to the point, Skip Bayless would never be seen mincing his words. The popular sports columnist and ESPN commentator recently reacted to the buzz around
LeBron James
being undervalued by the Los Angeles Lakers. With speculations around LeBron James' trade with Lakers for the upcoming
NBA
season, he has been making headlines across the globe.
Recently, ESPN commentator Skip Bayless fired back at the reports of LeBron James being mistreated by the Lakers.
Skip Bayless gets furious over the reports around LeBron James feeling undervalued by the Los Angeles Lakers
Despite focusing on his family, a new feline member, and golf sessions, LeBron James is making headlines during the ongoing offseason. As the Lakers are moving towards one of biggest deals in history of NBA, almost every move of the team has come under scrutiny. Recently, ESPN commentator Skip Bayless gave his explosive take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. He mentioned
'Just read an interesting ESPN story on how LeBron was upset, Lakers didn't offer to add years to his deal.
HE IS NOW YEAR TO YEAR IN YEAR 23! And he could have opted out, become a free agent. But he knew nobody'd pay him 52.6 million. So he bluffs about the Cavs, and the Lakers yawn.'
According to ESPN, Los Angeles Lakers' general manager Rob Pelinka is quite comfortable with LeBron James' stint with the NBA team with an almost expiring contract for the 2025-26 season. The 40-year-old Lakers' star is expected to hang his yellow and purple jersey at the exit door. According to a statement given by LeBron James' agent, Chris Paul, to ESPN's Shams Charania—
"We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future.
We do want to evaluate what's best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive, and want what's best for him."
Reportedly, James went ahead with his $52.6 million player option during late June 2025. The news had spread like a wildfire in NBA town and eyebrows were raised as Los Angeles Lakers did not engage in any kind of extension deal with LeBron James.

IND vs ENG 3rd Test: India and England create rare Test history at Lord's!

Zak Crawley of England interacts with Shubman Gill of India and KL Rahul of India (Photo by) KL Rahul's gritty century helped India match England's first innings total of 387 on Day 3 of the third Test at Lord's, marking only the ninth time in Test history that both teams have posted identical scores in their first innings. At 387 apiece, this also becomes the fifth-highest such total, and each of the four higher ones ended in a draw. The previous instances of higher identical totals include: England and West Indies both scoring 593 at St John's in April 1994 West Indies and Australia both making 428 at Kingston in February 1973 New Zealand and Pakistan both scoring 402 at Auckland in February 1973 India and England matching 390 at Birmingham in July 1986 Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! In the ongoing match, India's 387 came through attritional and disciplined batting. Rahul made a superb 100 off 177 balls, becoming only the second Indian after Dilip Vengsarkar to score multiple centuries at Lord's. Rishabh Pant added 74, battling a painful finger injury, while Ravindra Jadeja contributed 72 in typically composed fashion. KL Rahul press conference: On last over fight, Rishabh Pant run out and fired up Shubman Gill India's lower order hung around but struggled to lift the scoring rate on a slow surface that is beginning to misbehave. With uneven bounce and some turn on offer, the challenge of batting last looms large. Poll Do you believe India can win the match from this position? Yes, definitely No, it's unlikely It depends on the next innings Tempers flared just before stumps when Zak Crawley delayed facing Jasprit Bumrah, prompting Shubman Gill and the Indian skipper to confront him, adding an edge to an already intense contest. With England leading by just two runs and two days remaining, the stage is set for a tense finish. Historically, teams involved in 390-plus identical totals have never lost. India will hope that pattern continues at a venue where Rahul has once again left his mark. IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Backing away, call for physio and the abuse: How Shubman Gill vs Zak Crawley unfolded at Lord's

England batsman Zak Crawley and India captain Shubman Gill exchange words (Photo by) A heated exchange erupted between England and India at Lord's cricket ground on Saturday when England opener Zak Crawley 's apparent time-wasting tactics prevented India from bowling their final over of the day. The incident occurred after India was dismissed for 387, matching England's first-innings total in the third Test match. The controversy began when Crawley repeatedly stepped away from his batting stance and called for medical attention after minimal contact with his glove, allowing only six deliveries from Jasprit Bumrah before stumps. The situation escalated when Indian captain Shubman Gill directed angry words at Crawley, which went viral on social media. "Show some fu*g b**s," yelled Gill as the right-hander did all he could to deny India an over from the pavilion end, prompting Sky Sports to issue an on-air apology. Both players pointed fingers at each other, with England's Ben Duckett joining the confrontation. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! "I'm not sure what they were complaining about when Gill was lying down getting a massage in the middle of the day yesterday," said Tim Southee , England's bowling consultant, who pointed out similar delays from India's side, including Washington Sundar's apparent comfort break during batting. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your Best Life Starts Today Maximus Learn More Why Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah lost their cool in last five minutes of Day 3 vs England When questioned about Crawley's condition, Southee responded: "He'll be assessed overnight. Hopefully he'll be alright to carry on tomorrow." Indian opener KL Rahul , who achieved his tenth Test century and second at Lord's, expressed his understanding of the situation. "Two overs is a no-brainer with six minutes to go," he said. "But it was a bit of theatrics at the end. I know exactly what was going on; everyone knows exactly what was going on. But an opening batter will understand completely what happened in the last five minutes." Poll Who do you think will have the upper hand in the remaining days of the match? India England Former England captain Michael Vaughan, now a BBC pundit, commented on the incident: "It's as good a piece of time-wasting as I've ever seen. India can't complain because yesterday Gill was down with the hamstring strain... But what great drama and what a great day." The match situation remained level after India matched England's first-innings total of 387, setting up an intriguing contest for the remaining days of the third Test.
