Noel Kampton excited to celebrate first Father's Day with family
Kampton and his wife welcomed their baby last December and this will be the first time that they will celebrate the event as a family.
"Excited kasi ito 'yung first baby ko and mag-celebrate ng first Father's Day ko kaya looking forward ako," Kampton told GMA News Online last June 6 on the sidelines of the Final Four match between Colegio de San Juan de Letran and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Kampton has also been on a roll lately as it was announced that he joined the Criss Cross King Crunchers in the Spikers' Turf and the PSNKK Club in Thailand.
"On to the next," he wrote in his Facebook post on Saturday.

Letran beats San Beda for top spot in Filoil's NCAA bracket
Colegio de San Juan de Letran took the top spot of the NCAA bracket in the Filoil EcoOil Preseason tournament after beating rival San Beda University, 75-68, on Wednesday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan. The Red Lions were trailing 69-66 with 1:48 remaining in the fourth period before back-to-back baskets from Peter Rosilio and Mark Denver Omega extended the Knights' margin with 40 seconds left. Jimboy Estrada's free throws eventually sealed the victory despite Zedjay Etulle's late basket for the Mendiola crew. Estrada waxed hot from the field as he had a perfect 11-of-11 two-pointers on top of four rebounds to build 24 points, while Titing Manalili had 15 points, seven assists, and two rebounds as the Intramuros crew finished the elimination round with an 8-1 record. "Ang mahalaga sa'min, get as much experience as we can, get as many wins as we can, para madala namin sa NCAA," said head coach Allen Ricardo. Jomel Puno led the Red Lions with 17 points, five rebounds, and an assist, while Yukien Andrada and Nygel Gonzales had 12 points each in the San Beda loss. Earlier, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde defeated Lyceum of the Philippines University, 100-93, to also finish with an 8-1 record. Andrew Estrella is new Letran Squires head coach
NCAA Andrew Estrella is the new head coach of the Colegio de San Juan Letran Squires. Estrella will replace Willie Miller who steered the Squires to a Final Four run in NCAA Season 100. Estrella handled the UE Junior Warriors U16 team in the past two seasons and delivered the title in UAAP U16 boys basketball last December. "I'm incredibly thankful to Letran and Strong Group Athletics for this chance to lead the Squires," Estrella said in a statement. "Thank you to Fr. Raymond [Jose, OP], Fr. Vic, Boss Frank, and Boss Jacob for believing in me. I'll give my best and make sure not to let anyone down." Despite his new responsibility as a head coach, Estrella will still be serving in the University of the East. "I may have a new home with Letran, but there are no goodbyes," he said. "I'll still be consulting for UE. UE helped shape who I am as a coach, and I'll always be grateful for that." PVL: Prized setter Mars Alba parts ways with Choco Mucho
Mars Alba is set to open a new chapter in her career as the versatile setter parted ways with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans after almost two years since joining the club. Choco Mucho announced the development on Monday amid its ongoing campaign in the PVL On Tour and Alba's current stint with Alas Pilipinas Women in the VTV Cup in Vietnam. "Your exceptional playmaking and court smarts will remain significant contributions to the team. You'll always be a Titan. Good luck on your next chapter," Choco Mucho said in a Facebook post. Alba, a former setter for De La Salle University in the UAAP, joined Choco Mucho in January 2024 after her previous club F2 Logistics announced its disbandment. She, alongside libero Bia General and spiker Mean Mendrez, bolstered the Flying Titans following the departures of Denden Lazaro-Revilla, Caitlyn Viray, and Bea De Leon.
