Michigan State star pitcher Joseph Dzierwa signs with Baltimore Orioles under slot value
The big time lefty pitcher was selected at No. 58 overall and is expected to be a big time contributor in the Orioles organization as they continue their rebuild. He has now signed his contract with the Orioles.
Dzierwa's deal was slated as a $1,497,500 deal which was $100,600 under slot value, allowing the Orioles some flexibility with other prospects in their draft class. He will report to the Orioles rookie team in Florida.
