Al-Tarmoom secured the gold medal after setting a new Kuwaiti national record with a time of 28.21 seconds. The championship, which began yesterday, runs until the 22nd of this month and features swimmers from across the Arab world. Faisal Abu Al-Hassan, General Manager of Water Sports at Qadsiya Club, told KUNA that Al-Tarmoom's exceptional performance marks another milestone for Kuwaiti swimming. AMMAN, July 19 (KUNA): The Kuwait Disabled Sports Club's wheelchair basketball team has been crowned champion of the West Asian Clubs Cup after a dominant 74–35 victory over Jordan's Ajyal Al-Ghad in the final held recently in Amman. Minister of Social Affairs and State Minister for Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, extended her congratulations to the team, hailing the triumph as a reflection of the strong will and determination of Kuwaiti athletes. She noted that the achievement enhances Kuwait's image in regional and international sporting arenas and showcases the nation's commitment to inclusion and excellence.
