Australian eagle makes miraculous snatch of catfish hurled into the air

Turns out that A.J. Brown and Terrell Owens aren't the only impressive and legendary eagle receivers.
There's also this actual eagle who isn't in the NFL, but who lives in Australia. Thanks to Instagram account "treknaustralia" we have this moment with this caption: "This was absolutely amazing."
MORE OUTDOORS:
It truly was amazing. A fisherman grabbed a catfish, waited as an eagle circled above his boat. Then? He tossed it into the air. In one snap of its talons, it grabbed the fish and raced off for a meal.
Seriously. How cool is that? The bird is a Hall of Famer when it comes to catching things:

My question: how did the eagle know it was getting fed? Was there some instinct that the guy holding up the fish was going throw it? I guess that's why they call them eagle eyes.
Also, credit to the fisherman for timing it perfectly. What a moment!

Australia choose to bat first in Grenada against a West Indies four-pace attack

ST. GEORGE'S, Grenada (AP) — Australia won the toss and chose to bat first against the West Indies in the second test on Thursday. Australia, 1-0 up in the three-test series, named its team earlier and Steve Smith returns in place of Josh Inglis. Smith missed the first test in Barbados after his finger injury in the World Test Championship final at Lord's last month. Advertisement The West Indies also made one change; dropping frontline spinner Jomel Warrican for a fourth seamer, Anderson Phillip, who will play his first test since 2022. The West Indies lost in three days in Barbados but the National Stadium pitch is expected to be a little kinder for batters. But nobody was certain because St. George's hasn't hosted any cricket in a year. Former captain Kraigg Brathwaite will play his 100th test. His successor, Roston Chase, said he was happy with the toss decision, as he wanted to bowl. ___ Lineups: West Indies: Kraigg Brathwaite, John Campbell, Keacy Carty, Brandon King, Shai Hope, Roston Chase (captain), ustin Greaves, Anderson Phillip, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Jayden Seales. Advertisement Australia: Usman Khawaja, Sam Konstas, Cameron Green, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Beau Webster, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins (captain), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood. ___ AP cricket:

Owen Farrell summoned by Lions after Elliot Daly ruled out of tour by broken arm

SYDNEY — Former England captain Owen Farrell was summoned by the British and Irish Lions to replace Elliot Daly on the tour of Australia on Thursday. Daly broke his left forearm on Wednesday in the 52-12 win over the Queensland Reds in Brisbane. 'It is heartbreaking for the group that Elliot's tour is over,' Lions coach Andy Farrell said in a statement. 'He is a Lions legend who has added so much to the group on and off the field over the past few weeks and over the course of three tours.
