Star ‘can't remember' how many abortions she's had: ‘Pregnant all the time'

Mother-of-two Lily Allen has candidly admitted that she 'can't remember' how many abortions she's had. 'I'd get pregnant all the time, all the time,' the 'Smile' singer revealed on Tuesday's episode of her podcast. 'Abortions, I've had a few, but then again, I can't remember exactly how many … I think maybe like, I want to say four or five.' The singer called her use of contraception a 'complete disaster area' before her co-host, Miquita Oliver, chimed in, adding that she's had 'about five, too'. 'Lily, I'm so happy I can say that and you can say it and no one came to shoot us down, no judgment,' the TV personality, 41, continued. 'We've had about the same amount of abortions.' Allen, 40, shared one of her experiences, saying: 'I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic.' The popstar's opinion, however, later changed. 'I don't think it's generous or romantic,' she said, claiming that the man never messaged her afterwards. 'Fair [to be honest], I was a f**ken crazy bitch, still am,' Allen quipped. The 'Hard Out There' songstress shares kids Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper, whom she was married to from 2011 to 2018. She then tied the knot with 'Stranger Things' star David Harbour, 50, in 2020. However, news broke in February that the two reportedly called it quits. That same month, the actor stepped out with 27-year-old model Ellie Fallon in Georgia after they were allegedly spotted on a trip to India for New Year's, per the Daily Mail. While the duo hasn't publicly commented on their reported break-up, Harbour has dodged questions about it. In April, he told GQ Magazine that he was 'protective of the people and the reality of [his] life'.

Superman star David Corenswet reveals question that plagued director James Gunn: ‘Wasn't sure'

IN LONDON More than 10 years – and plenty of false starts – since Henry Cavill donned the Superman suit in Man of Steel, the long-awaited new era of the beloved franchise is about to begin. Directed by famed superhero filmmaker James Gunn and starring David Corenswet in the titular role, Superman will hit cinemas this month, showing a brand new side of Clark Kent and his alter ego. Nicholas Hoult appears as the villain Lex Luthor while The Marvellous Mrs Maisel 's Rachel Brosnahan is his love interest, Lois Lane. But in the year 2025, one question plagued the director: would a modern-day Superman still be wearing trunks – aka underwear – on the outside of his pants? 'When you're lucky enough to get hired for a movie like this, you don't open your mouth too early with your opinions,' Corenswet, 31, told at the Superman fan event in London. 'But I remember the first costume fitting, I remember the moment James [Gunn] looked at me and said, 'What do you think? Trunks or no trunks?'' The actor added that Gunn, previously the director of Guardians of the Galaxy and now CEO of DC Studios, had been stuck deliberating over it for some time. Superman's look, after all, is the centrepiece of the character. The trunks are a key feature of the original character – but after trying 'a billion different versions with the trunks', Man of Steel director Zack Snyder had ultimately scrapped them, unable to make the work for the 2013 film. Gunn had apparently found himself in the same boat. 'I felt so grateful that he really meant it, he'd thought a lot about it and he just wasn't sure – and I told him that I thought part of the reason Superman wears the trunks is because they look a little bit silly, they're a little disarming for people who might be intimidated or think that he takes himself really seriously,' Corenswet recalled. 'So that was the beginning of what turned out to be a really wonderful collaboration.' For his part, Gunn told that recruiting Corenswet to helm the new era in the hugely popular franchise was an easy choice. 'At the end of the day, it's about the fact that he's a really good actor and he's a nice person. Those are the two things that are necessary for me when casting somebody,' he explained, noting that the new instalment in the Superman saga is going to show a more 'intimate' side of the legendary character. 'This is about Superman and the way he looks at himself – he finds out some things about himself he didn't know and he has to process that and recontextualise his whole personality … so it's a personal struggle.' Gun added: 'It's also different [than the previous films and TV series] because I love Superman comic books and this is much more based off the comic books … so we enter the big, beautiful world of the DCU with giant monsters and robots and flying dogs and sorcery and all the other cool things.' Superman will hit cinemas in Australia next Thursday, July 10.

Kyrgios stirs the pot over ‘love triangle' at Wimbledon, power couple split up

Nick Kyrgios has stirred the spot about a rumoured 'love triangle' at Wimbledon, while a tennis power couple have reportedly split up for the second time. All eyes are Emma Raducanu at Wimbledon this week as the 22-year-old Brit looks to make a deep run at Wimbledon, where she burst on the scene with a fourth round appearance in 2021. Raducanu went on to win the 2021 US Open, become the first qualifier in the Open Era to win a grand slam singles title. She has battled to recapture that form since, but the early signs this year at Wimbledon are good. The Brit cruised through to the third round with a comfortable win over 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova. She'll take on Amanda Anisimova in the third round after the American had a 6-4 6-3 victory over Mexico's Renata Zarazua. It will be the second meeting between the talented pair at a grand slam this year — Raducanu won their second round match at the Australian Open. Kyrgios isn't playing Wimbledon this year as he manages injury but speaking to TalkSPORT, the 2022 finalist joked about a 'love triangle' between Raducanu, Carlos Alcaraz and British No. 1 Jack Draper. 'I don't know, I think it's a love triangle,' Kyrgios joked lightheartedly. 'Draper, Alcaraz, Raducanu. They're fighting over Raducanu I think, I'm not sure.' He went on to praise all three players, who look set to make a deep run at Wimbledon. 'I think (on) the outside (she looks happy), I don't know who's making her happy,' Kyrgios. 'The tennis world loves a love story, they love to try and put two together but Raducanu is number one British female player at the moment, she's doing fairly well. 'Obviously, winning a grand slam at 19 is never easy, it comes with a lot of expectations from the outside world. But, you know, as long as she's happy.' Raducanu was spotted cheering Alcaraz on when he won the grass court tournament at Queens last month. The 22-year-old will team up with Alcaraz to play mixed doubles at the US Open later this year, and she was quizzed about her relationship with the five-time grand slam winner ahead of Wimbledon. 'We're just good friends,' Raducanu smiled in her pre-Wimbledon press conference. The press conference moderator swiftly ended the line of questioning, with Raducanu joking: 'Way to wrap up!' Raducanu appears to relish playing in front of a home crowd and she was all smiles after her second round win. Probably the happiest I've seen Raducanu since the 2021 US Open. — José Morgado (@josemorgado) July 2, 2025 Draper is the World No. 4 on the back of making the US Open semi-finals last year and winning the Indian Wells title in March. The 23-year-old Brit will be out to make it well part the second round, which is best result at the All England Club, and challenge for the title. 'I think Jack Draper is going to contend for grand slams and Wimbledon is probably his best chance to do that,' Kyrgios said. 'Having that home crowd is special. It's like playing in their own background.' Power couple split up The news isn't as happy for Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa, with reports the tennis power couple have broken up again. Badosa lost in the first round at Wimbledon to Katie Boulter, while Stefanos Tsitsipas retired hurt while trailing France's Valentin Royer 6-3 6-2 in the first round. Spanish publication HOLA Magazine reports the couple, who were due to play the US Open mixed doubles together, have split up. Tsistipas and Badosa were in a relationship from for a year from May 2023, before announcing they were parting ways. They got back together weeks later and had shared plenty of insights into their relationship on social media, but it seems Tsitsipas and Badosa have split once more. The 26-year-old Greek player said he may have to contemplate retiring from tennis as he struggles with an ongoing back injury. 'I don't know what to do', Tsitsipas said after the match. 'I feel like I'm left without answers. I don't know. I've tried everything. I've done an incredible job with my fitness. I've done an incredible job with my physiotherapy, so I've maximised on everything that I possibly can do. 'Right now, I'm just absolutely left with no answers. I don't know what to do.'
