Greeley PD: Parolee on run from Pueblo found dead in Greeley
According to Greeley Police, around noon on Monday, officers responded to the 2100 block of 7th Avenue, near the intersection of Highways 85 and 34 in Greeley, to assist the Department of Corrections' Parole Fugitive division in tracking down a 26-year-old suspect reported to be on the run from Pueblo.
Greeley PD reported that two weeks before, the man had been named as a suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred while he was in custody serving a sentence related to first-degree assault. At that time, the suspect left the CDOC facility in Pueblo.
According to the police, Parole officers tracked the suspect to his father's house in Greeley and tried to contact him, but he ran inside. The other children and adults in the house exited and left him alone in the home.
Greeley PD stated that around 1:40 p.m., a Reverse 911 text was sent out to the surrounding community advising people to stay in their homes. A search warrant was issued, and Greeley PD attempted to get the suspect to surrender. When they entered the home, they found the suspect in the basement, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to Greeley PD, the Reverse 911 was cancelled around 5:15 p.m.
The name of the suspect will be released by the Weld County Coroner's Office after the family is notified. This is an ongoing investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Max Moree at max.moree@greeleypd.com, or call (980) 350-9549.

Police ID suspect, 14, in fatal stabbing of woman in North York parking lot
Toronto police have identified the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a woman in a North York parking lot on Thursday. Kymani Wint, 14, of Toronto, is wanted for second-degree murder, police said in a news release on Friday. Police obtained judicial authorization to name him and release photos of him because he is a young person whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Wint is wanted for an "unprovoked" attack on Shahnaz Pestonji, 71, of Toronto, on Thursday at about 9:37 a.m. in the area of Parkway Forest Drive and Sheppard Avenue E. Police believe that the incident was "a robbery that escalated into a deadly attack," Det. Matthew Pinfold, of police's homicide and missing persons unit, told reporters at a news conference on Friday. Pestonji was loading groceries into her car when she was attacked, police have said. When officers arrived, they found her with stab wounds. She was taken to hospital, where she died. Police have conducted an "extensive and urgent" search since the stabbing, Pinfold said. Officers have been canvassing door-to-door, using canine units and drones, and have been reviewing surveillance video from the area and from the TTC. Wint was identified as a result of that work, he added. "I want to be very clear — do not approach this individual. He is considered dangerous," Pinfold said. "We are asking the public and TTC riders to be alert and stay aware of their surroundings." Pinfold had a message for Wint too: "I am directing you to turn yourself in immediately. We are actively looking for you and we will find you." Pinfold said police believe Wint is using the TTC to travel and was last seen on Thursday at Kennedy subway station at about noon. He may still be on the transit system, he said. Pinfold released an updated description of Wint. He is said to be about five foot seven, 135 pounds, with a skinny build, wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with "New York - 555" on the front in white lettering. Wint has been seen wearing a balaclava-style face covering with his hood up, and carrying a black satchel. He has his hood up most of the time. If anyone sees him, or someone matching his description, of if anyone has information about his whereabouts, they are being urged to call 911 immediately.

911 Call From Choreographer In Beyoncé-Related Car Break-In Released
911 audio has been revealed from the moment Beyoncé's choreographer called Atlanta emergency services to report their vehicle had been broken into. A brief clip was shared by NBC News, detailing part of the conversation that highlighted Christopher Grant's attempt to explain the magnitude of the break-in. 'Someone broke into my car,' Grant anxiously explained to the 911 dispatcher. 'I was parked in a garage while I went to a restaurant. But they stole, like my computers and everything, but it has the tracker on it.' He continued, 'They have my computers, and it's really, really important information in there…I work with someone who's like of a high status, and I really need the, um, my computer and everything.' In the call, Grant also informed the dispatcher that he had been tracking the stolen items using the Find My function installed on Apple products, and had been watching the devices move on the app. According to WSB-TV 2 Atlanta, law enforcement has identified a vehicle involved in the break-in as a 2025 Hyundai Elantra. The owner of the car informed the news outlet that the sedan was rented out through a private service. The Los Angeles Times reported that Atlanta police have secured an arrest warrant for a male believed to be involved in the crime. A statement on Monday (July 14) detailed, 'At this time, the suspect remains outstanding, and their identity is not yet available for release.' Grant and dancer Diandre Blue informed investigators that when thieves forced their way into their SUV rental, they stole two suitcases, jump drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music, footage plans for Queen Bey's live show, past and future set lists, and more. The theft happened last week ahead of the Houston native's Atlanta takeover for the COWBOY CARTER tour. 'Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,' elaborated the incident report. 'He advised he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were stolen also. The hard drives contained water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists,' the officer added in the police report.
