Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence's children said "I Do" without their parents present at the wedding.
Murphy appeared on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" and confirmed that his son, Eric Murphy and Martin Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Page Lawrence, tied the knot in a private ceremony.
Hudson asked him if he was going to sing at his son's wedding and that's when he revealed the news.
"Actually they got married like two weeks ago, they went off. Everybody was making big wedding plans and they decided they want to do something quiet with just the two of them and they got married," he revealed.
The host interjected, adding that the Murphy's and Lawrence's are now in-laws.
Murphy jokingly added: "We are now in-laws. He (Martin Lawrence) doesn't have to pay for the big wedding now."
The comedian also shared that it was only the newlyweds as well as the preacher that officiated the marriage.
Eric and Jasmin went public with their relationship in 2021 and after dating for more than three years, Eric proposed to Jasmin in November 2024.
The couple shared their joyful announcement in a heartwarming video posted on Instagram.
"We're engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn't be more excited for this next chapter. Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful," they captioned the joint post.
In an interview with "InTouch Weekly" in 2022, a year after they publicised their relationship Jasmin shared how she and Eric met.
She revealed, "My uncle actually introduced us, it wasn't even our dads. And they've done two movies together. They're friends. I don't even know, it's crazy, but we met through my uncle and, you know, we became really good friends.

IShowSpeed's KFC shock in South Africa sparks laughs, shedding light on Western misconceptions about Africa
During one of his streams, American internet personality IShowspeed was shocked to discover that South Africa has a KFC. Image: Instagram American YouTuber and streamer, IShowspeed (real name Darren Watkins Jr), was shocked after finding out that there is KFC in South Africa. The internet personality was live during one of his streams while he was playing the GeoGuessr game, a global geography game that challenges your ability to recognise your surroundings. While playing the game, Watkins came across KFC and assumed that it was America; however, he said that, based on the roads, the area had to be in Canada. 'Wait, this is not America. This is Canada; America does not look like this because the roads do not look like this in America. So I'm going with Canada,' he said. However, to his surprise, the game revealed that the area is actually somewhere in South Africa. 'Whaat?! Why does South Africa have KFC?' he exclaimed. While the 20-year-old streamer's reaction sparked a conversation in South Africa, this is not the first time that Americans have been shocked to learn how developed other countries in Africa are. In the past, there have been many cases, whereby a lot of people, more specifically people outside of Africa, have expressed their shock to learn that Africa is not what the Western media usually depicts it to be. Many of them have claimed that the Western media pushes propaganda that Africa is a continent that usually has huts, wild animals roam freely, and overall claims that it is a poor continent. A TikTok @yoitsram shared a video early this year, where he shared how shocked he was to learn how developed and advanced South Africa is. He captioned his post: 'South Africa, I need an explanation!!' In addition, many online users who usually visit or have relocated abroad have shared their experiences whereby they get asked unusual questions about Africa, such as 'Do you guys have tap water/running water?' or "Do you guys in Africa have electricity?", while some think Africa is a country, not a continent. TikTok user @angel_0209 shared a list of questions that she was asked while being abroad as someone from South Africa. 'Listen, when I tell you, like, how they thought I came from the bush? Like, I'm actually gonna do a video about the questions I've gotten, but I'm gonna give you two. They always ask me if I'm related to Trevor Noah or knew Trevor's family,' she said. She also said that she once went to the zoo and one lady said to her, 'Oh, this must feel like home.'

WATCH: Kelly Khumalo and Her Bodyguard Dynamic
Under fire yet unshaken, singer Kelly Khumalo made headlines again not for her vocals, but for the imposing presence of a close protection officer tailing her every move on stage. However, it was the looming figure of her close protection officer (CPO) that stole some of the spotlight. Fans posted the video online. It's speculated that the presence of onstage security could be due to a video post the singer put on her Instagram. Kelly Khumalo and bodyguard Picture X Her clapback on Instagram, following fresh accusations tied to the Senzo Meyiwa court case, has fans and critics on edge. Kelly posted a video clip captioned with a fiery statement: 'From being dragged in that dirty court to sketchy podcasts? You never seize to amaze me. It's quite simple, though; if you strongly believe that I am capable of what you are accusing me of, come and get me and stop playing games! ❗️Till then, BACK OFF! #EmpressFELIZWE 👏🏽🐆' Her post comes hot on the heels of viral claims made on MacG's Podcast and Chill by controversial former advocate Malesela Teffo. Teffo alleged in a no-holds-barred interview that Senzo Meyiwa's death was not the result of a robbery gone wrong. Instead, he said it was an accidental shooting by Kelly during an argument. The July 17th episode has since racked up millions of views. While the public remains sharply divided, Kelly's sister Zandie Khumalo has slammed the renewed accusations and stood by her sister. On the 2022 season of Showmax's Life With Kelly Khumalo, the star shared her growing concerns for her safety. 'Security for me is literally everything,' Kelly admitted in her video diary. 'My last gig in KwaZulu-Natal, I received a threat two days before that they were going to kill me.' The singer also revealed that planning her Gospel Explosion concert in the Vaal included coordination with law enforcement officials due to ongoing threats. 'I have my CPO, a close private officer; they are officers of the law, just private ones. So they can arrest you.' This isn't the first time Kelly has performed with heightened security. The dramatic visual of a guard shadowing her every move on stage sent a clear message: she's not backing down. As the pressure mounts and speculation around Senzo's tragic death continues, Kelly Khumalo is choosing the mic and muscle to defend her name.
