Here's A First Look At Jeremy Allen White As Bruce Springsteen In The New Movie "Deliver Me From Nowhere"
We have another biopic about a famous musician coming, and this time it's about Bruce Springsteen.
Springsteen, nicknamed "the Boss," is considered one of the most influential musicians in American rock. His career has spanned six decades, with a majority of his albums featuring the iconic E Street Band. After releasing his first two albums, he achieved worldwide popularity with Born to Run in 1975, and then again with Born in the U.S.A. in 1984.
Springsteen has won 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and a Special Tony Award. He's also been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. And in 2010, Rolling Stone ranked him No. 23 on their "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" list, saying, "In many ways, Bruce Springsteen is the embodiment of rock & roll."
So now, it seems like the only other thing that needs to be checked off the list is a biopic about his life and how he changed music forever.
Directed and written by Scott Cooper, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere will chronicle Springsteen's time making his 1982 album Nebraska, an album that was recorded in his New Jersey bedroom, and marked a pivotal time in his career before he was launched into global superstardom.
Cooper is best known for his Academy Award-nominated work on 2009's Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges.
Speaking about Deliver Me From Nowhere, Springsteen told Variety, "They pitched the idea, and I said, 'It sounds like fun.' It's an interesting concept, because it's only a couple of years out of my life. It's '81, '82, and centered around the creation of that particular record while I was simultaneously recording Born in the USA and also going through some personal difficulties that I've been living with my whole life. But it's fantastic."

It also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron, David Krumholtz, Johnny Cannizzaro, and more.
Teasing Jeremy Allen White's performance, Springsteen told SiriusXM, "He sings well. He sings very well." He also added, "Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He's got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize, and he's just done a great job, so I've had a lot of fun. I've had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there."
And this takes us to now, when 20th Century Studios released the first trailer for Deliver Me From Nowhere, and we get to see Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen for the first time.
Here's a side-by-side from the trailer of Jeremy performing "Born to Run, which was released in 1975, vs. Springsteen himself around the same time:

Clint Eastwood's ‘addictive' affairs during first marriage exposed in new biography: ‘I was going to do as I pleased'
Clint Eastwood openly committed adultery during his marriage to Maggie Johnson, a new biography claims. In 'Clint: The Man and The Movies,' biographer Shawn Levy wrote about the 95-year-old actor's alleged affairs that he had while he was wed to Johnson from 1953 to 1984. 'By many accounts, including his own, he more or less comported himself as if he were a bachelor,' Levy wrote of Eastwood, according to People. 10 Clint Eastwood attends the 20th Annual AFI Awards in January 2020. 'One thing Mag had to learn about me was that I was going to do as I pleased,' Eastwood told Photoplay in 1963, per Levy. 'She had to accept that, because if she didn't, we wouldn't be married.' The 'Rahwide' star was also reportedly quoted by Levy as saying, 'I'm independent, a vagabond, and [Johnson] accepts me as I am and doesn't strangle me with female possessiveness.' 10 Maggie Johnson and Clint Eastwood in 1956. Post Malone Ties His Own Radio Record — And He's About To Beat It
Post Malone's 'I Had Some Help' ties 'Circles' with 60 weeks on Billboard's Radio Songs chart, ... More making them his longest-running hits as the country duet continues. Post Malone at Michael Rubin's Fanatics Super Bowl Party at The Sugar Mill on February 08, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by Christopher Polk/Variety via Getty Images) Variety via Getty Images Post Malone first became a musical superstar thanks to the songs he released that fit within the hip-hop genre. He found incredible commercial success right out of the gate, but when it comes to his performance on Billboard's main radio ranking, his longest-running smashes can't be classified as rap. Instead, his biggest pop tune and his first proper country hit are now tied for a special place within his discography. Malone's collaboration with Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," as well as his solo tune "Circles" have both spent 60 weeks on the Billboard's Radio Songs chart. That tally ranks the singles that rack up the largest number of total audience impressions across all airplay formats in the U.S. It's rare for any track to live on the list for a year or longer, and now Malone has scored a pair of those massive wins. "Circles" debuted on the Radio Songs chart in September 2019 and reached No. 1 in December. It spent 11 weeks ruling and still stands as Malone's longest-running champion by far. "I Had Some Help" only held on to the top spot for about half as long — five frames. It launched on the competitive ranking in May 2024 and has not disappeared since. While "I Had Some Help" is currently matched with "Circles," the two likely won't be tied for very long. Malone's first country win rises to No. 20 on the 50-spot roster, so there's a good chance it will continue to live on this list for several more months. In fact, by the time it's done, "I Had Some Help" may rank as one of the longest-charting tracks in the history of the Radio Songs tally. "I Had Some Help" is Malone's only current hit on the Radio Songs chart this week, but Wallen fills 10% of all the available spots. Amazingly, "I Had Some Help" is his highest-ranking win, even after more than a year on the roster, as it sits just above both "Just in Case" and "I'm the Problem," which give him a winning streak as they occupy Nos. 21 and 22, respectively. Further down on the ranking, "Love Somebody" dips to No. 44, while "What I Want," Wallen's collaboration with Tate McRae, lifts to a new peak of No. 46 in its second frame on the tally.
