But before the show kicks off next Monday, The Sun can reveal that he already has a connection to a successful past contestant.
Dejon's father, Gifton Noel-Williams, at one point was a professional footballer signed to Watford from 1996 to 2003.
During this time, Gifton was teammates with Micah Hyde, the father of Love Island 2023 finalist, Tyrique.
Tyrique found love in the villa with Ella Thomas, eventually placing third and staying with Ella for a year before their split.

Gifton and Micah played alongside each other throughout their respective time at Watford, being shown as solid pals on the pitch.
Tyrique and Dejon are also the same age and have played football like their dads.
As childhood friends, Dejon now trains Tyrique, with the pair sharing gym videos together on Instagram.
Dejon is open about his famous dad, saying ahead of entering the villa: "I've met all kinds of famous people through him.

"When I was younger it was weird because he was just my dad, but we'd go to a game and fans were asking for photos. "
He says he's looking for a girl in the villa who "is beautiful on the inside and out, looks after themselves and is healthy".
Ten Years of Love Island
Maya Jama will be back to welcome the new gang into the villa for the ultimate summer of love.
The Sun revealed exclusive photos of the new-look Majorcan villa, which promises to deliver some of the show's biggest twists yet.

Dejon is not the only islander with a famous connection, with fellow star Tommy Bradley revealing he has a famous boxing brother, Jamie, who trained with Anthony Joshua.

'I found little-known UK spot where you can get huge ice cream for bargain price'

Ice cream is a classic summer dessert and a London foodie has found a hidden gem in the capital that serves giant soft-serve ice cream cones for less than you might think More and more it's getting harder to find small luxuries at a low price. As a result of inflation and the rising cost of living, many people have had to cut back on treats like takeaways or desserts but one London foodie has found a little-known spot in the capital city that sells a huge serving of ice cream for less than £5. ‌ The social media user @london_bite_and_vogue describes herself as a 'Desi foodie in London' and she focuses on hunting for vegetarian cuisine and hidden gems in the UK. In a video on TikTok, she showed an enormous soft serve ice cream cone that would be perfect to enjoy today (Sunday, July 20) as it is National Ice Cream Day. ‌ The clip shows the foodie using an ice cream machine to get two towering ice cream cones with different colours. ‌ It has gained significant attention with 525,800 views, 15,600 likes and more than 250 comments, at the time of writing. Although the TikTok user didn't say where she got the huge ice cream from, a user in the comments section revealed that it is from Kabul Korner restaurant and takeaway in Harrow, London. The eatery shared a post on Instagram promoting its huge ice cream cones where it stated that a single is £2.50 and a double is £3.50. ‌ This is quite reasonable as according to Park Holidays, the average price for a Mr Whippy in London is £4.10 per ice cream cone. Kabul Korner offers ice cream in various flavours, including mango and pistachio. Viewers who saw the TikTok video by the 'Desi foodie' were shocked at the price of the ice cream. One said: 'Omg that can't be £2.' Another called it a 'bargain' and a third viewer commented: 'In Italy it will cost you 40 euros each.' ‌ A seemingly big fan of the chilled dessert chimed in: 'Omg yes please I'll take 4.' Others highlighted the appearance of the ice cream as one viewer noted: 'That actually looks so pretty.' ‌ However, some people in the comments section weren't keen on the size of the ice cream. A viewer remarked: 'No thanks, way too big. I will stick with the regular ones, plus this is sugar overload!' Another questioned: 'Who could eat all that ice cream?' Some viewers found humour in how big the ice cream is. ‌ One joked: 'This will take me a whole day to finish. By the time I finish it it's gonna be all over my clothes!' Someone who has tried the Kabul Korner giant ice cream shared: 'Been to this place. To start eating this ice cream from a respectable position, you have to hold it down in your ankles.' A different viewer gave a suggestion: 'Bring a large Tupperware so you can put the ice cream and cone in there. And share with friends and family. And save it from falling on the floor.' While a giant soft serve ice cream cone might not be everyone's idea of a great summer dessert, this treat from Kabul Korner is ideal for budget-conscious foodies or those who want something a bit different to a regular ice cream.

Liverpool handed one-off chance to disprove transfer market's biggest myth

If Arne Slot can add Hugo Ekitike to his squad, Liverpool's spend on Bundesliga players this summer will total £233m and fans will be quick to point out that it is a risky strategy Liverpool have already broken from their long-held recruitment strategy in seismic fashion. Now they have an opportunity to disprove or embellish one of the transfer market's great myths as Arne Slot's team jet off on their pre-season tour of Asia. ‌ With Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong already in the door from Bayer Leverkusen, a reported £87m offer for Eintracht Frankfurt goalscorer Hugo Ekitike could see their spend on players who spent last season in Germany total an eye-watering £233m. ‌ And that, predictably, has fired up talk of the Bundesliga Tax. Yet again. ‌ Anfield regulars will already know quite a bit about that theory and at Stamford Bridge it became known as the more alliterative Timo Tax following Werner's travails. A quick scroll through the full list of arrivals and the expensive flops are quick to jump off the page. Jadon Sancho, Mahmoud Dahoud, Niclas Fullkrug, Orel Mangala, Marcel Sabitzer. You get the idea. Various analytical minds have produced fascinating data spreadsheets in recent seasons, arguing that the gap in quality between the leagues is between 12 and 17 per cent. ‌ That suggests fees should be inflated and deflated accordingly and makes it inevitable that Except the reality, as ever, is a bit more nuanced. And Liverpool in particular have signed well from the Bundesliga in recent years with more success stories than flops. Since the start of this decade Liverpool have signed eight players from the Bundesliga, including Wirtz and Frimpong. Four of the other six played a major role in last season's title win - while the other two, Thiago Alcantara and Ozan Kabak, are no longer at the club. ‌ It would be remiss to ignore that Manchester City have also done rather well with deals for Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Omar Marmoush, Leroy Sane. But the problem in 2025's era of more and more desperate social media hyperbole is that for Wirtz, Frimpong and, more likely than not, Ekitike, the pressure will be immediate. ‌ A slow start and the comparisons and catcalls will come. Liverpool's recruitment department will be chastised for overpaying on Bundesliga talent when everyone knows the majority can't hack the intensity of English football. The players will be told by anonymous accounts on X and Instagram that they should head back to the Ruhr or Bavaria. Do well and the Bundesliga Tax argument will, hopefully, fall away quietly. Molly-Mae Hague inspired by Paris Fury over latest move as she rekindles romance

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are enjoying a 'new start' with encouragement from Paris, as a family trip brings the Fury family closer As Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury enjoyed a fun getaway on the Isle of Man with Tommy's brother Tyson, his wife Paris and their extensive brood, a source claims it's done Molly-Mae the world of good – especially as Paris, 35, has been a pillar of support when she needed it most. ‌ 'Paris has been Molly-Mae's rock as she's been slowly rekindling things with Tommy. It was Paris who encouraged them all to go away together last weekend. They may not make their relationship a big public thing, but Molly appeared in the Furys' documentary. They have a close bond - and a secret pact to always be there for each other,' said the source. ‌ ‌ The getaway came after a rocky period for the former Love Island stars, after their shock split last year and subsequent reunion five months later. Not to mention, the fallout from Molly's no-holds-barred Amazon documentary, in which she opened up about Tommy's drinking and its devastating affect on their relationship Heading across the Irish Sea for the family trip, Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 26, took along their two-year-old daughter Bambi, who was seen enjoying some quality time with her cousins; V enezuela, 15, Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, nine, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Valencia, seven, Athena, three, and Prince Rico, 22 months. It's the first time Molly-Mae has joined the Fury clan for a getaway since she and Tommy got back together, and the source claims that the extended family trip has done them nothing but good. 'It was nice for the family to be close and it has really helped her and Tommy. They both really trust Paris and see her as a wise sounding board, so having her and Tyson around is nice,' they explained. ‌ Sharing sweet snaps from the trip, Molly-Mae posted one of Bambi with two of her cousins, as Tommy shared selfies enjoying some joint workouts with his boxing champ brother Tyson and nephew, Prince John James. Molly-Mae and Tommy, who met on Love Island in 2019, shocked fans when they suddenly called it a day, last August. At the time, they failed to reveal the reason for their break-up but fans were gobsmacked, as they'd appeared super loved-up just days prior. ‌ But wearing her heart on her sleeve earlier this year in her Amazon Prime documentary, Behind It All, Molly-Mae admitted that Tommy's unhealthy relationship with alcohol ultimately led to the breakdown of their relationship. 'He's never had an alcohol problem, but alcohol caused problems for us. It got to a point where I wasn't looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much,' she confessed, sadly. And Tommy subsequently admitted in an interview with Men's Health, 'The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be any more. It kills me to say it, it's true, I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.' ‌ The split also came after Tommy was seen partying until the early hours on a string of occasions, while Molly-Mae was looking after their young daughter back home. In the documentary, Molly-Mae's sister, Zoe, was seen in one episode saying that she wasn't sure getting back together was the best thing for her sister – admitting she 'worried' for Molly-Mae if she was to give things with Tommy another shot. It can't have been easy for Tommy's relatives to hear. At the time, Tyson and Paris were rumoured to be aggravated by Zoe's comments, with sources claiming that the family weren't impressed that she was speaking ill of the boxer to a TV viewership of millions. ‌ However, our source says that the family have put any rumours of a rift well and truly behind them. 'There were a lot of feud rumours between the families when Molly and Tommy split up, it wasn't nice for Tommy's family to hear Molly-Mae talking publicly about his addictions. ‌ But family has always been so important to the Furys, and Molly-Mae wants nothing more than for Bambi to grow up with a close bond to her cousins, that's the main thing.' The source also explains that Molly-Mae is now understanding Tommy's family better, after their very different upbringings have caused locked horns in the past. Tommy is from a traditional Irish Traveller background. Tyson and Paris' children are not required to attend school after the age of 11 – as per Fury tradition. However, Molly-Mae grew up in Hertfordshire to a middle-class family, and had a full education before pursuing a career in influencing and TV. ‌ Back in 2023, Molly-Mae admitted that their starkly differing views on how children should be raised was a bone of contention for her and Tommy. 'With Tommy being a Traveller, he has had conversations with me about our child not going to school, which is absolutely non-optional. I've been raised completely differently to that. 'It would never be a question that our children – or child – would not go to school. But, hopefully, it won't cause too many rifts,' she admitted on Tyson and Paris' Netflix show, At Home With The Furys. While Bambi isn't yet at school age, our source says Molly-Mae is beginning to understand Tommy's background more, with a helping hand from Paris. 'Paris has helped Molly-Mae to understand the Furys and how to deal with them, rather than it turning into an argument. It's like a new start for Tommy and Molly-Mae, and Paris has been instrumental in that.'
