
UAE President confers First-Class Order of Zayed II on US Ambassador
ABU DHABI (WAM)President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the First-Class Order of Zayed II on Martina Strong, the Ambassador of the United States of America to the UAE, in recognition of her efforts during her tenure in the country and her contributions to strengthening and advancing the strategic relations between the two nations across various fields.His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the decoration to the Ambassador during a meeting with her on Monday in Abu Dhabi.His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his wishes to the Ambassador for continued success, commending her prominent role in deepening the strategic ties between the UAE and the United States.
For her part, the US Ambassador expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the UAE President for this honour, affirming the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

5 Aug 2025 19:41 GAZA (WAM) The United Arab Emirates is continuing its humanitarian mission in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, carrying out the 63rd airdrop of aid under the 'Birds of Goodness' initiative, part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3."The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the participation of France and operations aim to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to areas inaccessible by land due to the prevailing security situation. The airdrop included a range of essential food items and emergency relief Tuesday's mission, the total volume of aid delivered by air has now surpassed 3,840 tonnes, directed towards supporting the most affected and vulnerable communities in Gaza. In parallel, the UAE has delivered 32 trucks loaded with food aid into the Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen humanitarian support and meet the essential needs of the population. 5 Aug 2025 19:25 ABU DHABI (WAM)The United Arab Emirates categorically rejects the false and unfounded allegations made in the statement issued by the Port Sudan Authority, which inaccurately claims the UAE's involvement in the ongoing civil conflict in Sudan through alleged support for armed groups or UAE affirms that these baseless allegations, entirely devoid of evidence, are nothing more than feeble media stunts aimed at diverting attention from the Port Sudan Authority's direct responsibility for prolonging the civil war that has lasted for over two years and for obstructing all regional and international efforts to achieve peace in mechanisms have confirmed this, including the ruling by the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which dismissed the legal proceedings brought by the Port Sudan Authority against the UAE, as well as the final report of the Panel of Experts on Sudan, released on April 17, 2025, which presented no findings or evidence against the UAE. These authoritative conclusions confirm that the Authority's repeated allegations are baseless and lack any legal or factual UAE reiterates that the so-called Port Sudan Authority does not represent the legitimate government of Sudan, nor (does )it reflect the will of its honourable people.
