Latest reports suggest the actor might soon be stepping into another powerful uniformed role.
According to a recent report by Filmibeat, Prabhas has been approached by 'Amaran' director Rajkumar Periasamy with an army-based action script. The director, who won critical acclaim and audience love for his last outing 'Amaran', which was a war biopic on Major Mukund Varadarajan starring
Sivakarthikeyan
and Sai Pallavi, is reportedly in advanced discussions with the 'Baahubali' actor.
The report suggests that Prabhas was quite impressed with the initial narration and has even requested another round of script discussion before giving it a green signal. The yet-to-be-titled project is expected to be bankrolled by UV Creations, a production house that has previously backed several of Prabhas's hit films, including 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam'.
An official announcement is still awaited from both the actor and the director.

Speaking of Prabhas' upcoming films, he was recently seen in a brief role in
Vishnu Manchu
starrer 'Kannappa' where he played the role of Rudra. He is currently working on the horror comedy flick, 'The Raja Saab', directed by Maruthi. The movie is slated to release on December 5, 2026.
The actor is also working on 'Fauji,' a cop-action film directed by
Hanu Raghavapudi
, where he stars alongside newcomer Imaanvi. Additionally, there's 'Spirit' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which pairs him with Animal fame Triptii Dimri.
He will be further working on the highly anticipated sequels 'Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2' with Nag Ashwin and 'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam' with Prashanth Neel.

I drew inspiration from Hrithik Roshan's calm precision in Vikram Vedha, but also from the film Kill—particularly Lakshya's portrayal of Amrit and Raghav Juyal's Fani. The way they handled the knife—fast, unpredictable, yet emotionally anchored—really stayed with me.' He added, 'We trained for three hours before the main take and almost five hours across two key sequences, repeating drills with real knives, adjusting blocking and camera angles, and slowly building up intensity. The director was completely invested—guiding us with clarity, fine-tuning every action, and making sure the emotion behind each move felt authentic. While Madhav is obviously not as morally complex as those characters, I tried to channel the same quiet intensity and desperation—the energy that comes from someone fighting with heart, not skill.
