O2 has announced that it has finally launched enhanced 5G connectivity in and around Wembley Stadium.
Of course, the next big event to take place there is this weekend's FA Cup Final between Crystal Palace and Manchester City.
More than 2.5million people are expected descend on the stadium this summer for a record number of events, including seven Oasis shows and Dua Lipa.
The upgrade is made possible thanks to kit called 5G standalone, which is the fastest network technology available, meaning apps and videos will load much zippier with improved latency.
When connected to 5G Standalone you essentially receive the truest form of 5G there is.
Currently, most of the 5G you see is actually Non-Standalone, which is some 4G tech mixed in with 5G upgrades - and therefore connections aren't at their full speed potential.
O2 says it has also deployed seven new small cells outside the Wembley Stadium and upgraded two masts in the area to make the speeds possible in such a busy network area, particularly during events.
Virgin Media O2 is spending around £700million this year to future-proof its mobile network as it works to expand its 4G and 5G coverage.
Part of the plan is to use more dedicated small cells to boost capacity in busy urban areas, as well as addressing persistent network pain points including along railway lines, at airports, on motorways, and in stadiums and arenas.
"Wembley is one of the UK's most iconic venues and this summer promises to be one of its biggest in living memory, from the FA Cup Final to the long-awaited return of Oasis," said Dr Robert Joyce, Director of Mobile Access Engineering at O2.
O2's 3G Shutdown: Is Your Phone Ready?
"Our investment in and around the stadium is designed to give a huge capacity boost to O2 customers attending these events, so they have the best possible experience."
The move comes as O2 starts shutting down its old 3G network across the UK in favour of more faster 4G and 5G.
3G was switched off in the city of Durham first, in April.
Norwich, Telford and Guildford will be the next UK locations to have O2 3G withdrawn on July 16.
Torquay will follow on August 4.

Kia Joorabchian removes several horses including ‘spectacular' £4.6million Frankel filly from Ralph Beckett yard
They're going to AMO's No1 trainer instead THEY'RE OFF Kia Joorabchian removes several horses including 'spectacular' £4.6million Frankel filly from Ralph Beckett yard Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) KIA JOORABCHIAN has moved several horses away from Ralph Beckett — including the unraced £4.6million Frankel filly named Partying. The AMO Racing chief has shipped a number of his string from Kimpton Down Stables to Freemason Lodge where his new trainer Kevin Philippart De Foy has recently moved. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 New AMO Racing trainer Kevin Philippart de Foy has taken delivery of a number of former Ralph Beckett-trained horses, including a record-setting £4.6million Frankel filly Credit: PA It is the second high-profile move to take place in the sport in a few days after a number of horses, including serial Cheltenham winner Ginny's Destiny, left Paul Nicholls for arch rival Nicky Henderson. Joorabchian has left former Irish Oaks heroine You Got To Me with Beckett for now, but has moved on the majority of his horses previously with the Arc-winning handler. De Foy sent out his first runners since his switch to Freemason at Leicester on Wednesday and has also recently received Ghostwriter, who was with Clive Cox. The £2m purchase was red-hot favourite for the Princess Of Wales's Stakes at the Newmarket July meeting earlier this month. But had to be withdrawn after rearing over when being saddled ahead of the 1m4f Group 2 won by Charlie Appleby's El Cordobes. The Belgian trainer recently issued an update on the four-year-old colt, saying: "Everything is fine with Ghostwriter and hopefully he'll be back soon." But it is Partying who is real headline-grabber. She was the most expensive yearling sold in the northern hemisphere last year and is out of the Royal Ascot-winning Shamardal mare Aljazzi. Joorabchian's right-hand man Alex Elliott helped strike the decisive blow at the Tattersalls Book 1 sale last October. And he said at the time: "She's a Frankel filly with that kind of physique from that kind of family. "We've seen Ylang Ylang from the same farm on the same Shamardal cross – we just need history to repeat itself! "I keep saying to people horses will pay you back. "It was a good bit more than we thought we'd have to pay but when Kia and his partners decided that they wanted the filly, they wanted the filly. "She is a spectacular filly, it is a spectacular price, and there's a spectacular bunch of horses here. "I'd like to say I was a cool customer when all that was taking place, but that would be a fib – I have never been in that rarified atmosphere before." De Foy moved to the now-retired Sir Michael Stoute's former base recently after being appointed AMO No1. Speaking of his decision to take on the trainer, who he called a 'perfect fit', football superagent Joorabchian said: "Kevin is a fantastic horseman who understands our goals and shares our ambition. "Having known and worked with him for several years, it makes this transition even smoother. "We know his character fits and our ideas align perfectly. "We believe he's the right person to take the operation to the next level, and we're excited about what's ahead with him leading the team at this historic yard." While De Foy added: "I am deeply honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility of taking over at Freemason Lodge and training such an exciting string of horses for Amo Racing. "This is a major milestone in my career, and I'm incredibly grateful to Kia and the team for the opportunity. "Amo Racing's investment and ambition in the sport are truly inspiring, and I look forward to playing my part in what I hope will be a very successful journey together." Luke Littler, 18, kisses girlfriend Faith, 19, during walk-on for nail-biting World Matchplay Darts quarter-final win
The couple went public earlier this year LUKE OF LOVE Luke Littler, 18, kisses girlfriend Faith, 19, during walk-on for nail-biting World Matchplay Darts quarter-final win Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LUKE LITTLER planted a kiss on new girlfriend Faith as the darts star continued his quest to become the youngest ever Triple Crown holder. The world champion, 18, later beat Andrew Gilding 16-14 in the quarter-finals at Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Friday night. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Luke Littler planted a kiss on new girlfriend Faith in Blackpool As the packed arena roared, and the tension built for his crucial clash, the camera panned to Littler making his grand entrance. And his partner Faith Millar, 19, looked every inch the proud girlfriend. Just before stepping onto the oche, Littler leaned in and gave Faith a tender smooch right there in front of thousands of screaming fans and millions watching live on TV. It was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment of affection that immediately sent social media into a frenzy, with fans cooing over the couple's cute display. And the kiss brought Littler good luck in the end, as he narrowly beat world No.28 Gilding. Gilding, 54, made it close, going within one leg of Littler, before the darts prodigy hit a perfect 11-darter to win it. Littler hit EIGHTEEEN 180s, with an average of 103 as he booked a place in the semi-final against either Gerwyn Price and Josh Rock. Littler said: "That last leg I just had to stay focused and get over the line. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS "He won a few on the bounce when I was sat on 15 legs but I just had to do a professional job in the end. "I didn't really panic. Andrew started to win a few legs, but that last leg against the darts as well, I just had to get over the line. Luke Littler stuns World Matchplay Darts with one of his greatest ever comebacks against Jermaine Wattimena "Andrews does what he does. He never goes out of rhythm. It's the same throw by throw and try and match him." Littler and girlfriend Faith were first pictured together in March. The 19-year-old is a beautician who met Littler in February. The couple jetted off with Littler's family to Spain last month. Littler previously dated Eloise Milburn, who cheered him on at his World Darts Championship debut in 2023. But the pair split after just 10 months in July 2024 after struggling to make time for each other. The World No.2 picked up a Premier League title back in 2024 and followed it up by becoming the youngest ever world champion in January. 'The Nuke' now needs to win the iconic major at the Winter Gardens to add his name to another list of icons. Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, and most recently Luke Humphries are the only four players to have completed the prestigious feat. Taylor, 16-times world champion, is still the only player to have completed the 'Triple Crown' in a singular darting season.

Root's 38th Test century bumped him up to second on the all-time leading run-scorers list in Test cricket. But it was Stokes, 34, that hit the headlines after the ball caught him in his genitals. Stokes was batting when a ferocious shot rocketed between his bat and, well, found its mark. Cameras zoomed on Stokes writhing in pain, leading to a wave of sympathetic groans from viewers at home. The commentator said: "Oh! Movement, pain. He's been hit in the midships again." While Prakash Wakankar on comms joked about what the physio could do about it. The British commentator then added: "Sorry if you heard any expletives there, but perhaps you can understand why." India star carried off Old Trafford pitch in ambulance cart after horror injury in Test match against England A third added: "That's got to hurt." Stokes, ever the warrior, eventually picked himself up, though with a noticeable limp to remain not out as England went 544-7 after the first Innings. England lead India by 186 runs with three wickets remaining. Meanwhile, Root pushed past Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis and Ricky Ponting while scoring 150. It's now only Sachin Tendulkar keeping him off the summit. The Yorkshireman, 34, has a way to go to eclipse The Little Master's tally of 15,921. He needs a further 2,513 runs to become No 1 - but at the relatively young age of 34, Tendulkar's record seems achievable.
