Lorenzo Musetti Debuts as Bottega Veneta's Newest Brand Ambassador at 2025 Wimbledon
Current world number six on the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings, Musseti joins the likes of Julianne Moore and Jacob Elordi, among others, as the Italian luxury fashion house's latest ambassador.

Bottega Veneta's announcement follows Musseti's participation in the house's recent 'Craft Is Our Language' campaign, which celebrated 50 years of the iconic Intrecciato weave. The campaign, which also features Moore and other ambassadors, celebrates Bottega Veneta's handcrafted elements as well as the wide-reaching impact and beauty of hand gestures.
'For 50 years, Intrecciato has embodied Bottega Veneta's craft and creativity,' Leo Rongone, chief executive officer of the Italian brand, told WWD. 'Season after season, it has both endured and evolved, finding new expressions in color, scale, size and texture. It is the ultimate synthesis of our artisanal knowledge and aesthetic imagination.'
The campaign was lensed by Jack Davison and choreographed by Lenio Kakle. Several notable names in arts, culture, entertainment and other areas joined Musetti and Moore in the campaign. Writer Zadie Smith, I.N of K-pop group Stray Kids and other prominent figures appeared in the subdued black-and-white photos.
'At its heart, Intrecciato is an act of encounter, interweaving and exchange. With this campaign, we celebrate our signature craft and its spirit of dialogue — between hand and heart, maker and wearer, past and present,' Rongone said.
Along with his new ambassadorship for Bottega Veneta, Musetti's fashion collaborations have grown over the course of the year. The tennis star was announced as an ambassador for Polaroid Eyewear after the brand inked a partnership deal with the ATP as a sponsor through 2027.
Highlights from the 23-year-old professional tennis player's career thus far include a semifinal match at the 2024 Wimbledon tennis tournament and a recent semi-final at the 2025 French Open, against eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz of Spain. Musetti also won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in Men's Singles.

However, since that time, his dating history has remained mysterious. Whether he has had a girlfriend here or there is much rumored (including with some top women's players) but little confirmed. What is confirmed is that he has told interviewers several times that he is single and lamented the difficulties of maintaining a relationship with his tennis travels. The site Tennis Tonic, which posted the photo of Alcaraz kissing a woman's cheek, said his girlfriend at that time was Maria Gonzalez Gimenez. He was only 18 when that photo was shared and has since burst into fame on the tennis circuit, most recently competing at Wimbledon. "Maria is also a tennis player from Murcia playing for Murcia Club de Tenis," that site wrote. But even then, he was keeping the relationship private, Tennis Tonic reported. However, Gimenez has not been seen at his side since that time. And in an interview with tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, tennis player Nick Kyrgios made controversial comments when comparing Alcaraz with fellow tennis pro Jannik Sinner. "I choose Sinner, because Alcaraz loves girls," he said in that interview. "He could get distracted, he might party too much." "That's my only thing. Sinner will stay more locked in I think," he added. In 2023, Vogue wrote, "There were reports of him dating Maria Gonzalez Gimenez, but Alcaraz alludes to a breakup and says he's been single for 18 months." 'It's complicated, never staying in one place,' he told Vogue. 'It's hard to find the person who can share things with you if you're always in different parts of the world.' In 2024, Alcaraz revealed that he still lives with his mother. "When I finish a tournament, it doesn't matter if I win or not, I just want to get home to be with my family,' he told The Times. 'I live with my mum and dad, my older brother and two younger brothers. To them I am not a big tennis star, just a normal guy. One of the things about tennis is that you travel a lot and my dad and older brother come with me. My older brother is my hitting partner.' The interviewer asked him, "Are you in a relationship?' He "blushes ever so slightly," the article said, quoting him as saying, 'No, I am single. I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.' 'I doubt you will be short of admirers,' the author said. 'I hope so,' he responded. Women's tennis star Emma Raducanu commented on dating rumors as Wimbledon is underway. She declared that they were just "good friends." Caterina Murino is pregnant. The 47-year-old actress - who is best known for her role as Solange in Casino Royale opposite Daniel Craig - is expecting her first child with Edouard Rugaud, her partner of eight years, following an "excruciating" journey with IVF treatment, during which she suffered two miscarriages. Caterina, who will give birth to a baby boy at the end of summer, shortly before turning 48, told France's Gala magazine: 'At my age, I had to ask medicine to help nature. "You don't always decide when the right time to become a mother comes.' Despite her fertility struggles, Caterina has enjoyed a smooth and healthy pregnancy. She said: 'I haven't had any discomfort, no diabetes, no insomnia.' And while she is feeling anxious about her delivery, the Italian star feels confident in "the fantastic work" of her midwife team. This Paris Nightclub Has a No Men Policy – and Dinner and Drinks Are Included
I wasn't even the first in line when I arrived as the doors opened at Diva Paris, a pop-up dance club exclusively for women. Showing up on time is typically a very pas Parisien thing to do in the city of fashion(ably late) — as I'm often reminded by my Paris neighbors — and yet the entire line was filled with chic Parisiennes who had shown up exactly at 7 p.m. for the same reason I did: We needed this. We needed a night to ourselves, a break from the grind of work and parenting. We needed to dance without the pressures of coupling or impressing anyone, and we needed to get home by a reasonable hour (re: said grind). Diva promised all of that, and even served us dinner. 'For 45€ [about $53] you get food and an open bar with cocktails like Aperol Spritz or St-Germain, wine, nonalcoholic drinks, and softs,' explains Constance d'Amécourt, the 39-year-old mother of three and co-founder of Diva Paris along with friends Lucie de Gourcuff and Constance Fabry-Damour. 'The purpose of this concept is to leave your mental load in the locker room and spend three hours on the dance floor.' Most women had arrived straight from work, and one mom had even taken a train that day from London to make sure she could be part of what she had heard was the 'best dance party in Paris.' There were women in designer labels and others in Mickey Mouse t-shirts, and in the end, we all hovered together over ornate displays of mini sandwiches, fruit platters, and trays of French desserts. The language barrier disappeared for me as we all swayed around the hazy dance floor and mouthed the words to Celine Dion's 'Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore' — them in French, me in English — while devouring delicate bites of tiny foie gras sandwiches with walnuts and onion chutney or truffle-topped turkey rolls oozing with fresh mayonnaise. The bar was open and the food was courtesy of one of the top caterers in the city. The only men in sight were refilling glasses with white wine and rosé or onstage spinning records (DJ Thierry Khayat). I dabbled in an alcohol-free sparkling wine from French Bloom before moving to a pale pink rosé, letting the bartender drop a few cubes of ice into my glass to turn it into a refreshing, and trés French, Piscine. The bartenders were still whipping out Aperol spritzes made-to-order when Shakira came on and half-full glasses were left on tables unattended as the real dancing started. Diva Paris isn't the first women's-only dance club (the first of its type likely started in London in 2019), and it won't be the last. This highly successful model is working its way through Europe with events throughout Germany, Switzerland, and Austria through Mama Geht Tanzen, and is already spreading to the U.K. and America with clubs like Mums That Rave (from international DJ, producer, and creative Nikki Beatnik) in London and Earlybirds Club in the U.S. There's even a non-publicized members-only women's speakeasy inside Houston's C. Baldwin Hotel and an annual Mom Prom in Portland, Oregon. There's no age range or offspring requirement to attend these pop-up dance parties — despite having been inaccurately referred to as 'mum's clubs' in the past — where the open invitation to dance in a non-threatening environment is enough to attract a very loyal, and very niche, clientele. 'Women are showing up ready to dance but end up leaving with new friends and stronger work connections,' adds d'Amécourt, who also owns the popular children's swimwear brand, Happy Duck. 'The first edition of Diva sold out in five days, with 280 women attending that February, and the edition in March was the same plus 140 women on the waiting list. We had to go to another venue with a bigger space because we had so much interest.' It's through these events that women who haven't seen each other since college can finally reconnect. It's on a man-free dance floor that women who work in different industries can dance side-by-side and network openly between songs. And, maybe, just maybe, it's at 10 p.m. in a nightclub filled with likeminded women where a very non-Parisienne writer can leave feeling fully satisfied and fully refreshed to start a new day in the city she now calls home.
