Community Service Officer in Wisconsin goes above and beyond to rescue cat stuck on a roof
According to a social media post from the Kenosha Police Department, a Community Service Officer came to the rescue after a cat found itself stuck on a roof with no options to get down.

CSO Zarletti then reportedly jumped into action and scaled up a ladder to rescue the stuck cat and safely bring it down from the roof.
Officials with the Kenosha Police Department afterwards joked, 'We always knew Zarletti had range, but who knew he'd check 'firefighter' off the bucket list too?'
They went on to add that public service can come in several forms throughout the community, 'even if it's covered in fur and stuck on shingles.'

(WFRV) – Following the arrest of a suspect in Wisconsin, authorities say they recovered two firearms that were possessed by the suspect illegally. According to a release from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, a suspect wanted by the sheriff's office for operating a vehicle without consent, possession of THC, resisting or obstructing an officer, carrying a concealed weapon, and felony possession of a firearm, was recently arrested by the US Marshals Service while attempting to evade law enforcement. Suspect arrested after allegedly stealing, attempting to sell landscaping equipment in Wisconsin
MONONA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing landscaping equipment from a vehicle and trying to sell the items online. According to the Monona Police Department, officers responded to a theft complaint around 11:10 a.m. regarding stolen landscaping equipment from a vehicle. Working with the victim, police were able to gather a detailed description of the missing items. Lake in Wisconsin temporarily closed due to extremely high levels of E. coli During the investigation, authorities discovered similar items listed for sale on a social media site. The descriptions and images closely matched those of the stolen equipment. Monona officers coordinated a response, using covert tactics to arrange a meeting with the suspect at an address in Madison. A plain-clothed detective made initial contact with the suspect outside the residence and confirmed the presence of the stolen items. As uniformed officers approached, the suspect began walking away before fleeing into a mobile home. He then attempted to escape by jumping out of a rear window but was quickly apprehended. The stolen equipment was recovered and returned to the victim, a small business owner who expressed deep gratitude to the officers involved. UPDATE: Oshkosh man charged with intentional homicide, motion to dismiss denied Brandon D. Singleton, 26, was booked into the Dane County Jail on a probation violation.
