Katy Perry gets STUCK in flying metal sphere and nearly falls out mid-air... after crying amid Orlando Bloom split

Katy Perry suffered a stage malfunction and narrowly avoided a disaster during her concert in Australia this week amid her Lifetimes world tour.
On Sunday night, the singer was performing in Adelaide and being lifted in a floating metal sphere when the stage prop seemingly malfunctioned, leaving her stuck in the air.
The floating orb then tilted, as seen in fan-taken footage posted on X, and it appeared as though she scrambled to hold on to avoid falling into the crowd.
For several long seconds, Perry held onto one of the bars before the crew stopped the lights and music before rushing to help her.
The pop star was quickly freed from the prop and saved — before later breaking down in tears onstage — but many of the fans took to social media to express how scared they were for her in that moment.
Many fans also likened the situation to how Beyonce recently had trouble onstage too when the floating car she was riding in suddenly halted and tilted mid-performance and she had to stop her show during her ongoing Cowboy Carter tour.

Perry is currently on her Lifetimes Tour, performing a series of shows in Australia — which forced her to miss her close friend Lauren Sanchez's wedding to Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos in Venice over the weekend.
Her now-ex Orlando Bloom attended the weekend-long festivities alone as a newly-single bachelor while Perry was in Australia with their four-year-old daughter Daisy.
Perry kicked off their tour in Mexico City back in April and is set to conclude her tour in Abu Dhabi at the end of the year, on December 7.
The Lifetimes tour is in support of her seventh studio album 143 and is her first headlining stadium tour in seven years since she last toured in 2018.
While performing Down Under, Perry was seen fighting back tears while onstage as she thanked her fans for their support following her split from Bloom.
She and the actor had been together for a total of nine years before their split was revealed late last month.
As Perry took to the stage for the final show of her Australian leg of her Lifetimes world tour, she fought back tears as the show came to a close.
In footage posted on X, she made a heart with her fingers, before struggling to hold back tears as she spoke to the crowd at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

'Thank you Australia for always being there for me,' she said.
It came just hours after Bloom shared a series of cryptic Instagram posts, sharing a quote from Gautama Buddha to his seven million followers.
The quote that Bloom reposted read: 'Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.'
He additionally shared a separate slide which had another quote which was titled 'Daily Encouragement by Daisaku Ikeda.'
The text read: 'The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.'
Last week, it was revealed that the former couple called it quits after nearly a decade together.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while also adding that the separation has been 'not contentious' thus far.
'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.'
The Teenage Dream hitmaker — who is currently embarking on her Lifetimes Tour — was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'

Ash Barty shows her fans the first pic of her newborn baby girl with her big brother as she celebrates a family milestone

Aussie tennis legend Ash Barty has shared a photo of her newborn baby girl alongside her big brother as the retired star celebrates her son Hayden's second birthday. The former world number one took to social media on Wednesday to post a heartwarming photo of herself, husband Garry Kissick, son Hayden and newborn daughter Jordan posing in front of several cup cakes with two candles burning. 'Cake for breakfast,' wrote Barty. 'Happy 2nd birthday little man! We love you!' Barty gave birth to her daughter last month after revealing she was expecting over Christmas last year - humorously confessing at the time that she was 'terrified' of having two young children in her Queensland home. The Australian Open champ's big news in June was met with message after message of congratulations online, including well wishes from Tennis Australia and the Australian Open, with Kissick also sharing the announcement. 'It's been probably the best part of my life, being able to share this next chapter with my husband Garry, and we have no idea what we're doing but he's alive and he's happy,' Barty said of Hayden earlier this year. 'Terrified for what is going to come next but we'll figure it out, I'm sure.' The 29-year-old said she was readying herself to deal with 'chaos' with her second child. 'As an athlete I used to be the most meticulous, organised person and now it's absolute carnage,' Barty said. She announced she was expecting Jordan in a post on Christmas Day, showing her followers a picture of Hayden standing in front of their tree wearing a T-shirt bearing the words 'I'm going to be a... big brother'. Barty captioned the photo, 'Merry Christmas from our growing family to yours!' After winning the 2019 French Open, taking the Wimbledon crown in 2021 and making a dream come true with her 2022 Australian Open title, Barty stunned the sporting world by retiring at the peak of her powers on March 23 that year. She and Kissick met in 2017, married in July 2022 and revealed Hayden's birth by posting a sweet photo of him for her fans along with the words, 'Our beautiful boy. Welcome to the world, Hayden!' The three-time Grand Slam champion said she was bracing for 'chaos' in her household when she revealed she was pregnant with Jordan Ash later opened up about the joys of motherhood, revealing that raising her son has been rewarding in many ways. 'It's the best, and hardest thing, I've ever done,' she said. 'Hayden is amazing, I feel so very lucky. Garry and I are really just enjoying what is a pretty quiet time together at home as a little family.' Barty might be bracing for a turbulent time now that she has two very young kids to look after, but she said Hayden gave her a nice, calm introduction to motherhood. 'He's been a very good boy, very kind to me as I'm learning,' she said in January last year. 'It's amazing how quickly it's all gone, how much my life has changed but how natural it all feels. 'An amazing thing. And it's probably helped me appreciate my own mother, and my two sisters as well, in how they're raising their own children.'

Bec Judd is mocked for shaving her legs in the supermarket aisle in cringe Coles promo

Bec Judd has copped some gentle ribbing from fans after sharing a cringeworthy Coles promo. The football WAG and influencer, 42, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a clip that showed her spruiking Gem Personal Care products, which are sold in the supermarket chain. The clip showed Bec swanning into her local Coles supermarket in Brighton, decked out in a sleeveless black hooded top and form-fitting black gym shorts. She went 'bougie' for her sponsored shopping trip too, accessorising with a Louis Vuitton bag slung over her shoulder. Bec then walked down one aisle, where she found an array of Gem deodorants. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Without hesitation, she picked up a couple of cans and proceeded to liberally spray their contents on her underarms. She did something similar with a bottle of Gem body mist, spritzing up a storm in the aisle. Bec's public personal grooming didn't end there, as she discovered the company's grooming range. She proceeded to take a can of shaving gel and lather a healthy portion over her lithe legs before shaving her pins in-store. 'I couldn't help myself,' she said in the clip, while offering the camera a cheeky wink. Bec's public preening was met with some low-key mockery from fans, with one commenting: 'the shave mid aisle hahahaha.' Another questioned Bec's decision to step out in such skimpy attire during inclement weather. 'You're shopping in tiny shorts and a T in 10-degree weather,' they wrote with a raised eyebrow emoji. Others, however, praised Bec for her mid-aisle leg shave, with one fan adding: 'Shaving in the aisle is a mood.' Another admitted that Bec's display had the desired effect with: 'Great promo!!!! Great humour!! So I'm going to Coles immediately.' In April, Bec fired up about the unrealistic beauty standards foisted upon women of a certain age in the public eye. 'I am around the same age as Lindsay (Lohan), Anne (Hathaway) and Hilary (Duff). For the record, I think they look unreal,' she began in several fiery Instagram posts. 'Beauty standards for women are just impossible. If you show signs of ageing, you have let yourself go. 'If you look too fresh-faced for your age, you are accused of getting work done and blamed for promoting vanity when you should just be comfortable with growing old and looking old. '"Oh but yuk", society says, "women shouldn't look old." And so the cycle continues. Women can't win.' Bec has long been a beacon of ageless beauty, spruiking skincare brands, facials, and non-surgical treatments for her plump visage. For two decades, she has denied having any plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures done, instead pointing to healthy living and expensive skincare as her saving grace.

Bethenny Frankel mocks Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's $50M wedding

Bethenny Frankel took to social media this week to voice her opinion on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding extravaganza. The 55-year-old former journalist and 61-year-old Amazon founder gathered with loved ones to tie the knot in Italy last weekend. On Monday the ex Real Housewives of New York City personality, 54, unleashed her thoughts via TikTok and Instagram posts. In a minute-long video clip, she ranted about the couple's tacky invitation, which even drew ire from a tech giant. 'Ok, I've been diplomatic about the wedding,' Frankel began before adding, 'When I saw the invitation, that's when I got lost.' She made a point to issue a disclaimer ahead of her criticism: 'I happen to love Lauren Sánchez and I also adore Amazon, so I am treading lightly. But you know me, I have a difficult time holding back when I have an opinion.' Bethenny, known for her hot takes, joked, '[With] the invitation, you lost me. 'And as a result, for the people, I'm going to start dating so I can eventually get married and have a wedding and make up for that invitation because that invitation... I could not stay silent.' Noting her tendency to catch flack for being outspoken, she continued, 'I'm sorry. It's the lord's work. I take a couple of hits, I get dinged up and bruised, and I get into trouble but the invitation is where you lost me.' Frankel — who called off her engagement to Paul Bernon in 2024 and later dated Tom Villante — declared: 'I am open for business after seven months. 'I am starting to date for the people and I will be having a wedding at some point. 'I just don't know when or where, but I can't wait for you to see my invitation.' Across her video, which was filmed on a boat as she wore a sun hat, sunglasses, and a white bra, was the hilarious note, 'POV: I'm getting married...' Bethenny captioned the post, 'Ps. I'm in a bra on a you should question the source....' Lauren and Jeff's invitation, obtained by ABC News last week ahead of the wedding, featured computer-generated graphics of butterflies, doves, the Venice canals, gondolas, and feathers in purple, gray and pink. The public quickly took to the internet to criticize the correspondence, which many agreed looked like it had been created by a '10-year-old.' Using the buzz as a promotional opportunity, content creator tool Adobe Express took to Instagram with a subtle slight to the bride and groom and posted a much more sophisticated-looking iteration.
