Fibre2Fashion11-06-2025
S&S Activewear and HanesBrands Inc. are proud to announce a landmark agreement that makes S&S the exclusive distributor of the Hanes brand in the North American printwear channel. This milestone builds on a decades-long partnership and sets the stage for a bold new era of growth, innovation and customer focus.
At the heart of the Hanes legacy is the iconic Beefy-T, a style that helped define the printwear category and continues to be a customer favorite for its comfort, durability and printability. Hanes is the top-selling apparel brand in the U.S. and brings over 110 years of heritage in quality and innovation to the market.
S&S Activewear will become the exclusive distributor of Hanes in the North American printwear channel by end-2025, marking a major expansion of their long-term partnership. The deal ensures deeper inventories, faster deliveries, and exclusive access to Hanes products through S&S. It follows S&S's integration with alphabroder, reinforcing its position as a leading distributor.
With this exclusive partnership, S&S will not only carry the full range of Hanes styles but will also offer deeper inventory positions and enhanced availability across its national distribution network—ensuring decorators and promotional partners get what they need, when they need it.
'This is more than an agreement—it's an evolution of one of the industry's most enduring relationships,' said Mike Faircloth, HanesBrands President Global Operations . 'Hanes has been a foundational brand in printwear for decades. With S&S as our exclusive distributor, we're doubling down on that legacy while positioning ourselves to lead in the next chapter of the market.'
The partnership comes on the heels of S&S's successful integration with alphabroder—creating a unified platform that offers customers expanded product access, faster delivery and unmatched service. With over 6 million square feet of warehouse space, advanced automation technologies, and a portfolio of more than 100 top industry and exclusive brands, S&S has established itself as the leading technology-enabled, customer-focused distributor in the channel.
'We're incredibly proud to deepen our relationship with Hanes, a brand that represents both heritage and reliability,' said Frank Myers, CEO of S&S Activewear . 'As a unified company, we're in a better position than ever to bring more of Hanes's trusted styles to more customers, more efficiently while continuing to raise the bar on service.'
Through this strategic alignment, customers can expect: A focused and expanded Hanes assortment, available exclusively from S&S
Deeper inventories across S&S's nationwide network of distribution centers
Faster shipping and delivery windows for Hanes styles
Seamless ordering through the unified S&S website and service model
Customers may continue to purchase Hanes products from other distributors through the transition period. This partnership will be fully operational by December 31, 2025.
This agreement reflects a shared belief that the future of the printwear industry will be shaped by deeper, more strategic partnerships between manufacturers and distributors—focused on long-term brand building, supply chain alignment and delivering unmatched value to customers.
'As we continue to grow, our focus remains on supporting the industry's most trusted brands,' added Myers . 'We believe strong partnerships with manufacturers like Hanes are what drive value and progress for the industry and our customers.' Overall, over 95 firms are listed to announce their Q1FY26 results during the week of July 21-27. These include big names such as Infosys, Paytm, Nestle India, Eternal, Dixon Technologies, and IRFC, among others. Investors are keenly watching these for corporate announcements, forward looking statements, revenue outlooks, and share prices, to make calculated investment decisions. At least 58 companies are set to release their Q1 earnings on Wednesday, July 23. These include many marquee companies such as Infosys, Dr Reddy's Labs, Bikaji Foods, Coforge, Bajaj Housing Finance, Tata Consumer Products and SRF. Firms releasing their earnings today include, Aditya Birla Real Estate, Bajaj Housing Finance, Bikaji Foods International, Coforge, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Infosys, Maharashtra Scooters, Oracle Financial Services Software, PCBL Chemical, Persistent Systems, Sapphire Foods India, SRF, Supreme Petrochem, Syngene International, Syrma SGS Technology, Tata Consumer Products, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), and Westlife Foodworld among others. Infosys ended 2024-25 with large deals worth $11.6 billion, down 34 per cent year-on-year (YoY); and with its order book lacking contracts valued above $1 billion — essential in filling an IT outsourcer's revenue coffers. Still, analysts are confident of CEO Salil Parekh's acquisitions. Infosys is expected to post the fastest revenue growth among the top five Indian IT players, of up to 3.5 per cent sequentially, showed a Mint analysis of at least five brokerages. This optimism follows a lacklustre show by the rest of the top five in the first quarter of 2025-26. Overall, macroeconomic uncertainty leading to clients holding off on their tech spends is only expected to worsen the road ahead for the country's second-largest IT services provider should it not report a robust deal pipeline. The domestic equity market indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are expected to open higher today, on upbeat global market cues. Internationally, the Asian markets traded higher after the United States-Japan trade deal, while the US stock market ended mixed overnight, with the S&P 500 posting record-high close. On previous close, the Indian stock market indices ended the volatile session on a flat note with negative bias. The Sensex fell 13.53 points, or 0.02 per cent, to close at 82,186.81, while the Nifty 50 settled 29.80 points, or 0.12 per cent, lower at 25,060.90. Ajit Mishra – SVP, Research at Religare Broking advised, 'The market continues to lack clear direction amid mixed earnings announcements and muted global cues. Traders should adopt a hedged approach and focus on fundamentally strong counters, with an emphasis on earnings performance.' Disclaimer: This story is for educational purposes only. Michael Saylor's Strategy owns 3% of Bitcoin in circulation after latest purchase

Michael Saylor's Strategy now owns more than 3% of all the Bitcoin ever minted following the crypto treasury company's latest purchase of the original cryptocurrency. ADVERTISEMENT The former MicroStrategy Inc. acquired 6,220 Bitcoin for $739.8 million during the seven days ended July 20, according to a filing Monday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. This raised the Tysons Corner, Virginia-based firm's holdings to 607,770 Bitcoin — which is about 3.05% of the roughly 19.9 million token issued. The stack is worth about $72 billion. Strategy has been using a combination of common and preferred shares, as well as debt, to fund Bitcoin purchases since it began accumulating the cryptocurrency in late 2020 as a hedge against inflation. Dozens of companies have begun to emulate the practice. Strategy is the world's leading corporate owner of Bitcoin. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) holds about $86 billion in assets. While some other tokens' unlimited supply has concerned investors, Bitcoin's store of value proposition has been buoyed by the 21 million limit on the number of tokens to be mined. Instructions in the network's original code have further helped to promote the scarcity value of the token — like quadrennial halving events that automatically slash the amount of token rewards miners earn. The last Bitcoin is expected to be issued in the year 2140. Strategy said separately Monday that it planned to offer 5 million of variable-rate Series A perpetual Stretch preferred stock to help finance additional Bitcoin purchases. It is the fourth series of preferred shares by the company. The common shares of Strategy has surged more than 3,500% since Saylor - a founder and executive chairman of the company - began buying Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency has risen about 1,100% during the same period, while S&P 500 has increased around 120%. ADVERTISEMENT (You can now subscribe to our ETMarkets WhatsApp channel)
