Cristiano Ronaldo will visit Hong Kong for the opening of his CR7 Life Museum

Time Out6 days ago
Hong Kong's football fans were all in a tizzy when the news broke earlier this year that a Cristiano Ronaldo museum is opening in Hong Kong. It has now been confirmed that the CR7 Life Museum will officially open on July 7.
Housed within the sixth floor of K11 Musea, this museum will span over 12,000 sq ft, featuring immersive exhibits, authentic memorabilia, and interactive storytelling that highlight Ronaldo's discipline, resilience, and excellence over the course of his three-decade career. If you've been following him since Alex Ferguson signed a young Ronaldo to Manchester United back in 2003 – making him the first Portuguese player ever to be signed to the club – then CR7 will allow you to take a fond walk down memory lane, and even see some of Ronaldo's jerseys and trophy collection up close.
What makes things even more exciting is that Ronaldo will be visiting Hong Kong in person to celebrate the museum's opening, which will be the first of its kind in Asia. Exact details about his arrival and the events that will inevitably take place are yet to be disclosed, so watch this space for updates!
Apart from the museum, the brand is also opening the first-ever CR7 Life Museum Official Flagship Store in Times Square, which we expect to be packed with exclusive Cristiano Ronaldo signed merchandise and memorabilia.

Martin Ho signs three-year contract to become Tottenham's head coach

The English coach Martin Ho has signed a three-year deal as Tottenham Hotspur's head coach until 2028, the Guardian understands. The 35-year-old had been in charge of the Norwegian club Brann's women's team for two years, since leaving his role as the assistant coach at Manchester United women in July 2023. Ho is Spurs's replacement for Robert Vilahamn, who was sacked in June after the club finished second from bottom in the WSL last term. He leaves Brann second in the Norwegian top flight midway through their 2025 season, after a second-placed finish last year. He took Brann to the 2023-24 Women's Champions League quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by the eventual champions, Barcelona, which was the furthest a Norwegian side have progressed in the competition. Ho had spent three and a half years at United, initially working with the under-21s in the second half of the 2019-20 season alongside the now Bristol City head coach, Charlotte Healy. Ho then moved up to be Casey Stoney's assistant with the first team in July 2020 and, after Marc Skinner replaced Stoney as head coach in 2021, he spent two years as Skinner's No 2, including a second-placed finish in the WSL in 2023. Born and raised in Mossley Hill in Liverpool, Ho previously had spells working at Everton – as assistant manager – and at Liverpool, where he was the under-21 women's team's head coach. Sources have told the Guardian that the club received strong references from around the world in support of Ho.

Transfer news live: Liverpool chase Guehi, Man Utd want Watkins, Gyokeres agrees Arsenal deal?

The summer transfer window is ramping up as Premier League clubs look to add to their squads. Arsenal are looking to beat Tottenham to Eberechi Eze and reports say they have a clean run at signing the Crystal Palace star – but they want to pay below his release clause. The Gunners continue to be linked with Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, and it appears the latter is now pushing for a move to London. In the meantime, Arsenal have planned a medical for incoming Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard and agreed to pay above the release fee for Martin Zubimendi. Manchester United, meanwhile, have secured Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m and are negotiating with Brentford about Bryan Mbeumo, having submitted an improved offer. Sporting's Gyokeres is also on their list of potential additions, while Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins has latterly emerged as a target. Florian Wirtz is now officially a Liverpool player after agreeing a record £116.5m deal for the German superstar, while Reds defender Jarell Quansah has joined Bayer Leverkusen in a £35m deal meaning the Reds have turned their sights on Marc Guehi as his replacement. Chelsea are set to sign Jamie Gittens after Borussia Dortmund accepted an offer of £55m for the former England Under-21s winger, who will have a medical, while the Blues have confirmed to signing of Brighton's Brazil forward Joao Pedro. Man United legend Nemanja Vidic reveals the one player he had a dressing room bust-up with during his eight-year spell at Old Trafford

Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic has revealed the one player he had a 'bust-up' with in the dressing room during his successful eight-year stint at Old Trafford. Vidic, who is widely regarded as one of United's best centre-backs of the Premier League era, joined he Red Devils in 2006 and won five top flight titles and a Champions League before his exit to Inter Milan in 2014. The Serb established himself as a tough, no-nonsense figure around the training ground and channelled this gritty mentality on the pitch, becoming an integral part of Sir Alex Ferguson 's perennial champions alongside centre-back partner Rio Ferdinand. His behaviour and approach to training did not always land well with some of his team-mates, as former United goalkeeper Ben Foster explained in 2020, admitting Vidic was 'scary' and 'horrible' during sessions at Carrington. Yet, despite his confrontational reputation, Vidic has urged that he only experienced one dressing room 'bust-up' with a team-mate during his spell in Manchester. Speaking on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet, the former defender said: 'At Manchester United, I had one bust-up in the changing room and that was with Anderson.' Former Brazilian midfielder Anderson was also at Manchester United for eight years between 2007 and 2015, chalking up over 100 appearances during that time. Eager to downplay the incident, the Serb added: 'It was something on the pitch then it got transferred to the dressing room. It was no big deal.' Red Devils fans may be somewhat surprised to hear that Vidic was not referring to the infamous fallout he had with former Manchester United captain Patrice Evra. Four years ago, the Frenchman opened up on how he and Vidic refused to talk for three months after they got into a fight as team-mates. According to Evra, it even led to Ferguson switching Ferdinand to the left-side of defence to separate them on the football pitch. After opening up on their friendship at Man United, the former left-back told the club website in 2021: 'To be honest, we also fought. We had a fight, me and him, and didn't speak for three months. 'We played together and we didn't even say a word. I never told him to go left or go right. He was the same. Ferguson had to swap Rio Ferdinand to play on the left side with me. 'It was like that for three months until, after a game, I remember he came to me in the dressing room and gave me a high-five. Everyone was like "finally" because we were best friends together, Vida and me. We have a deep story together.' The former Man United and France star claimed Sir Alex Ferguson had to move Rio Ferdinand over to the left-sided centre-back position to separate Evra and Vidic after the pair fell out The pair experienced another fallout after Ferguson's exit, involved in a furious bust-up during a 3-0 defeat against bitter rivals Liverpool under David Moyes. Vidic, who was sent off after receiving two yellow cards from referee Mark Clattenburg, accused Evra of neglecting his defensive duties by leaving him exposed. The Frenchman was said to have exploded with anger and had to be restrained by Moyes and other members of staff as the incident threatened to boil over at United's Carrington training base. Next year brings up a decade since Vidic retired from the game, and the 43-year-old has admitted he would love the opportunity to be involved in football in some capacity. Speaking on what's next for him, Vidic added: 'I open an opportunity to be a coach, or to work in football as a Sporting Director, or even the Serbian President of the FA – that was the plan a few years ago – it didn't happen but maybe it could happen in the future.' Earlier in the podcast, he admitted that Manchester United would be his dream job should he take up management or coaching. 'If I was to manage or coach anyone, it would have to be Manchester United. I like things when they're difficult and to change something from difficult to good, this is something I like to do,' he said.
