Conor McGregor was left 'f*****g livid' over the weekend as he took to social media to rant about a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event. Over the weekend, BKFC 77 was held in Birmingham with Connor Tierney defending his UK welterweight title against Danny Christie in the headlining bout. Pic: ANL/REX/Shutterstock The home fighter dominated the contest with the referee stopping the bout after three rounds. Strangely, Tierney never got the opportunity to speak after the contest which is typically custom with sporting events such as boxing, MMA and BKFC. The decision to not let Tierney speak to viewers angered McGregor who took to social media in a now-deleted expletive rant. McGregor is part owner of BKFC and has previously expressed his desire to get in on the action. Pic: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Branding the contest 'incredible' and 'high-level,' McGregor called: 'Let's hear the mic, get the mic in there. Get him on the mic. Where's the mic? Where's the mic? Mic, mic, mic, mic. 'Get the mic in there, get the f*****g mic in there! Who called it there? The referee? The doctor? Who called that?!' The Dubliner continued: 'Ah, sure, who needs to hear from the hometown hero who just defended his belt in his hometown in a sold-out arena in the biggest fight of his life in front of all his people? Conor McGregor. Pic: Tucker Carlson via YouTube 'I am f*****g livid here! Absolutely ridiculous.' Last year, McGregor was set to fight Michael Chandler in what would have been his first contest in more than three years. The fight was called off due to McGregor sustaining a broken toe. The Dublin fighter has long insisted that he will be back in the Octagon but has also teased a move into the BKFC ring. He previously told The Schmo 'one of these days you'll just hear my music come onto this stage in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and I'll have my fist wrapped with no gloves for a fight, out of nowhere.'

He previously opened up on what his course entailed and said: 'I'm learning theology, going into depth about the Bible and learning how to cope with people, because you're not only the vicar, you're someone to listen, you're a psychiatrist, you have to help sort people's lives out and spread the good word. He said: 'I've got a beard now, I've shaved my head, I'm a man not a boy, but yeah, there's conversations about Big Brother that still come up. People come to church and are like, 'I really loved you when you cooked that egg'. 'And I'm like, 'Can we talk about Jesus Christ now, the Saviour?'. 'But I feel like when you've lived a good life, you've got a lot to talk about when you're up in the pulpit doing a sermon.' 4 Glyn, 37, decided on his career change in 2020 Credit: Olivia West
