Table-topping Lisburn chase down Woodvale to make it five wins from five in NCU Premiership
The overseas professional shared a second wicket partnership of 68 with Ruhan Pretorius, while Carl Robinson cleared the ropes twice in a breezy cameo.
Irish international Matthew Humphreys and Josh Manley were the pick of the Wallace Park attack taking two wickets apiece.
Lisburn were always in control of the chase, with Ross Adair making a quickfire 25, and Faiz Fazal (27) content to play second fiddle to Neil Whitworth as the pair added 83 for the third wicket to lay the perfect platform for the victory.
Whitworth has been enjoying a prolific season with Lisburn, and he followed up Sunday's Man-of-the-Match innings with yet another decisive contribution. He top-scored with an unbeaten 65 from just 40 balls (seven fours, three sixes), finding the perfect ally in Nigel Jones.
The former Irish international added 67 in six overs with Whitworth, hitting four sixes in an unbeaten 46 from only 22 deliveries as Lisburn clinched victory with 11 balls to spare.
CIYMS are in fourth place after they gained their third League win of the campaign against a Cliftonville Academy side still searching for their first points.
Skipper John Matchett was the Belmont side hero as he rescued his team from a very precarious 44 for four in the 12th over.
Matchett clubbed five maximums and four boundaries in a 37-ball 57 that propelled his team to 116 for six — the one batter that mastered the difficult conditions. John Glass with three wickets for nine runs was the pick of the home side attack.
The chase just never gained any momentum with only two players reaching double figures — Abhishek Raut (12) and Jared Wilson (11) — as they were bundled out for 88.
Ben Snell claimed three victims, while there were two apiece for Matchett and Alex Armstrong in the 28-run win.

A lot can change in a week – Horne on Scotland's latest Lions call-ups
Scotland assistant coach Pete Horne believes their latest Lions call-ups have given the touring squad a timely reminder on how fortunes can quickly turn around in sport. Winger Darcy Graham has already joined eight other Scots in the British and Irish Lions squad days after being sent off in a 29-14 defeat for Gregor Townsend's team in Fiji. Prop Rory Sutherland and hooker Ewan Ashman will join him after Scotland's final tour match against Samoa on Friday with a view to playing in next Tuesday's match against a First Nations & Pasifika XV. Horne said: 'It was nice, it gave a bit of energy to our meeting this morning. Obviously, all the boys were delighted. 'Gregor made a really good point in the meeting. Look at what Ben (White) did at the weekend there. He had a cracking game. He put himself right in the mix for potentially getting involved in some Test rugby. 'And there's no reason that our guys can't go over there and make a quick impression and, before you know it, you can play a critical part in the Lions series. So, it's exciting for them. 'It's another little reminder to some of our boys as well. A lot can change in a week. A lot can change in a couple of days. So, there's still a big carrot there for some of our fellows as well that are playing on Friday night.' Graham's change of fortunes is particularly marked. The Edinburgh player, who has scored 31 Scotland tries, was deemed unfortunate to miss out on the initial Lions squad by many and his summer took a further downward trajectory when he received two yellow cards in Suva on Saturday. But he is clear of suspension after a disciplinary hearing and now part of Andy Farrell's squad. 'We were all gutted for Darcy,' Horne said of his initial rejection. 'Everyone loves him. We all know what he can do and how he's a world-class player. And we were devastated he didn't make it. 'But he was really cool. I'm sure he'll be straight into training as soon as he lands and showing everyone just what he's all about. And he can end up having a big part to play.' Scotland's ill-disciplined defeat against Fiji was a major blow to their hopes of rising one place in the World Rugby rankings and ensuring a top-six spot ahead of the World Cup draw in December. But Horne said: 'Off the back of a defeat, I feel like it's always pretty easy for guys to get a bit of energy and get going again because you are desperate for another opportunity. 'There's also nothing worse than finishing a tour and finishing the season off the back of a defeat, so everyone will be desperate to right some wrongs and go well this weekend. 'A lot of the things that went wrong at the weekend were around the breakdown area, so there's been a big focus on that, especially that last 15 minutes. They really hammered us there. 'We showed a bit of footage on little ways that we can find solutions to be better and stop them getting over the ball. And that will just sharpen the focus. 'We defended so well for large parts of that game and just gave them a few cheap easy ins through offsides. Something like an offside, that's an easy fix. 'The players are all over it. The leaders have already spoken about that. I'm sure we'll see a reaction.' Goalkeeper Harry Stone, defender Adam Forrester, midfielders Sander Kartum and Aidan Denholm, plus forward Musa Drammeh all watched the 4-1 win over Dunfermline from Tynecastle Park's main stand. McInnes stressed he does not plan to force any player out of the door and that all five could still be involved in competitive games over the coming weeks. There is concrete interest from other clubs in 21-year-old Denholm and 23-year-old Stone. A loan move for Forrester, 20, is also a possibility before the transfer window closes on 1 September. 'Players were left out on Saturday, players were left out of the squad and they've not really done too much wrong,' McInnes told the Edinburgh News. 'They have actually all really applied themselves brilliantly, but such is the way that you've got to disappoint some. When the games come thick and fast, particularly at this stage of the season, sometimes teams don't have the benefit of changing, but we have got that luxury and it's important to try and take it.' Irish midfielder Oisin McEntee started Saturday's match at right-back, with Norwegian summer signing Christian Borchgrevink appearing as a substitute. Forrester was the one to miss out. 'I think there are plenty of games to go round, we'll just see how things go. I think it's too quick to make rash assumptions,' said McInnes. 'Borch, I think, was brought here to try and play in that position, and we played big Oisin there on Saturday really because of the press. We wanted to make sure we still had enough physicality on the pitch. 'We weren't blessed with huge size and Dunfermline are quite a big team, so we wanted to make sure we've got enough size in there. So we tried to play Oisin maybe as a kind of raiding wing-back stroke full-back. But listen, Adam has done absolutely fine, he hasn't done anything wrong, put it that way. Neither has anybody really, they've all done well. Denholm has informed Hearts that he wants to complete pre-season at Riccarton, with the club still to decide on any potential move for the midfielder. 'I don't know yet, there has been a wee bit of interest,' stated the manager. 'We spoke to Aidan. He would like to complete his full pre-season here and that includes upcoming games, so we'll see. British and Irish Lions fullback Hugo Keenan endured a slow start to the tour of Australia with the Irishman's illness seeing him married to the toilet as he lost considerable weight Test probable Hugo Keenan has revealed how his entire Lions tour nearly went down the toilet after he was laid up for nearly two weeks with a stomach bug. The Irish full-back, who arrived in Australia nursing a knee injury, was laid low by a virus that saw him lose close to a stone in weight ahead of his opening appearance down under against the Waratahs in Sydney last weekend. The 29-year-old had a shocker that night but, with Blair Kinghorn struggling with a knee injury, put his hand up for this weekend's Test opener in Brisbane against the Wallabies in Saturday's 48-0 win over an AUNZ Invitational XV in Adelaide. But Leinster's Keenan admitted being confined to barracks, after the tourists first landed in Western Australia, for their opener against the Force on 28 June was not the best start to his life with the Lions. Keenan said: 'It wasn't exactly what you planned on when getting on tour. I was sick for about 12 days, it was rough. Getting off the toilet was an issue, and I lost about five or six kilos. There was a little bit of a virus going around camp but for whatever reason it hit me on a different level. God, it was pretty horrible. It was frustrating. Every day you think you're going to be waking up the next day better. You think it's going to be sort of a 24-hour, 48-hour thing. The tour will hopefully kick on for me here and I can start enjoying it a bit more. 'It was a challenge but that's part of touring life, isn't it? All these little bits, manning up as much as you can. I felt terrible in that Waratahs game. But look, sometimes you just have to front up and do what's needed.' Keenan is trying to pile on the pounds, to get close to his fighting weight of around 15 stone, with the help of touring nutritionist, Professor Graeme Close, part of a massive back-room staff which dwarfs the playing squad. Keenan added: 'I'm getting there now, I'm still a few kilos off, still probably not filling out that jersey like I was, but it'll be fine, I'll get there. I'm working with Closey, he's been unbelievable. Making me high-calorie shakes and trying to get as many fluids into me to get the weight back on. Fair play to him.' Keenan pulled his weight from full-back as head coach Andy Farrell's side showed a bit of cohesion in attack at the Adelaide Oval. 'We knew we had that performance in us,' said Keenan. 'To put a team like that to nil with their quality is a real step forward. Everybody's hungry to play next week, everybody wants to be involved, so it's exactly what Faz is looking for, competition throughout the squad, all positions, and that's a real healthy thing to have.'
