Reports have given insight into what Sydney Sweeney and Tom Brady were up to at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's grand Italian wedding. Some claims have also suggested that sparks may be flying between the two. TMZ exclusively learned from sources that Sweeney was the 'center of attention' for single guys, Brady being one of them.
The outlet reported that the pair, along with other wedding guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, and the Kardashians, were all partying at the hotel bar during their stay at The Gritti Palace in Venice. According to the source, Brady was the 'life of the party.' The 47-year-old former football player reportedly also spent time 'chatting up' Sweeney.
The Daily Mail learned from an insider that the 27-year-old actor was the 'most sought-after person' during the lavish multi-day wedding festivities. They revealed that many of the guests wanted to strike up a conversation with Sweeney. The source also claimed that 'every guy' who came across the actor has 'talked about how stunning she is in real life.'
Brady was reportedly among those who were charmed by Sweeney. Another Daily Mail insider claimed that the duo danced together at a party during the wedding festivities. The celebration reportedly lasted until 2 a.m. A source further noted that the former quarterback 'danced with everyone.' Besides partying together, Sweeney was also spotted enjoying a walk around the city with Brady and Bloom.
Sydney Sweeney's attendance at the Bezos-Sanchez wedding came after she reportedly ended her engagement with Jonathan Davino earlier this year.

Dwight Howard's wife files for divorce less than six months into marriage
Dwight Howard's wife has called off their marriage after less than one year. Amber Rose Howard, who goes by the name Amy Luciani, filed for divorce from the former NBA star July 1 in Georgia, according to documents obtained by TMZ. In the documents, she wrote that her marriage was 'irretrievably broken' and 'there are no prospects for reconciliation.' The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star also requested alimony and that all of the couple's marital assets and property be 'equitably divided.' She has since removed all of her social media posts that included him. Howard, an NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers and eight-time All-Star, has yet to address the news of the divorce publicly. The couple first announced their engagement back in December, when Luciani posted various photos and videos featuring Howard on Instagram. In the first clip of the round-up, Howard is seen holding Luciani's hand as she's wearing an engagement ring. In addition to announcing their engagement, this post also marked the announcement of the couple's relationship itself, as they had previously kept it private. 'I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are,' the rapper's caption read. 'Thank you for bringing me back to the word. Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is 'Did you pray about it?' Then I realized I hadn't being praying much lately at all. I'm just thankful, happy and ready for everything that's coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.' Howard responded in the comments section of the post using various emojis, including an infinity sign, a heart, and a lock. He also made his own post to announce the relationship as he shared a few photos of them together at the Den of Thieves 2 premiere in Atlanta. 'Happy,' he captioned the post with another infinity and heart emoji. While the couple did not publicly announce when they were married, the court documents list the date of marriage as January 11, according to TMZ. Between the years 2007 and 2013, Howard had five children with five different women: Braylon, 17, Layla, 15, Jayde, 14, Dwight III 'Trey,' 12, and David, 12. All of his children had lived primarily with their respective mothers until David's mom died in 2020, and Howard received primary custody. Howard currently plays for the LA Riot in Ice Cube's Big3 League, where teams play professional 3-on-3 basketball.

A Virgil Village destination for natural wine and pop-up chefs to close permanently
Melody, the Virgil Village bungalow that constantly thrummed with diners who settled into its open-air living room and patio to try burgeoning food pop-ups, swill natural wine and jam to owner Eric Tucker's genre-spanning DJ sets, is set to close permanently on July 12. Open for nearly a decade, Tucker wants Melody to be remembered not for its status as a trendy bar, but for its inclusive environment that thrived on the curiosity of its diners. 'We were that cultural [and] gender safe space where you could be whoever you wanted to be,' Tucker said, 'exposing people to foods that they maybe never had before and giving chefs those chances to shine.' According to Tucker, Melody began to see a decline in business during the Hollywood strikes in 2023. Combined with the compounding effects of the January wildfires, a tense political climate and L.A.'s high cost of living, the bar-restaurant 'just couldn't do it anymore.' 'I don't see how places survive anymore,' Tucker said. 'I've never done this before, closing a business. But I think one of the most special things for me is, how do I get out of this thing without losing it all?' Prior to Melody, Tucker ran an Italian restaurant and bar in New York City. He opened Melody with his ex-wife Paloma Rabinov in 2017, and at first, the wine bar followed a typical dinner service format with a California- and French-inspired menu. But less than a year later, Melody's financial struggles prompted him and Rabinov to shift to a rotating pop-up format. They began hosting different chefs for days and weeks at a time — Mexican-Jewish pop-up Malli even earned a two-year residency — with a short house menu offering cheese, charcuterie and other bar snacks. Within the first few years of opening, Tucker began growing Melody's wine list, which consists entirely of natural, low-intervention wines sourced from all over the world, with bottles available for retail purchase and many priced under $80. Tucker described that time as Melody's 'golden years.' Customers drank bottles of wine in the parking lot while waiting for hours to get in, where it was a 'party every night.' The goal was to offer diners something new, and to give rising chefs, many of whom had yet to open their own restaurants, a space to experiment — all complemented, of course, by great wine. 'We weren't a restaurant. We weren't a bar,' read Melody's Instagram post announcing the closure. 'Thanks to each of you who entered our little bungalow … a unique experience-experiment that was always a best kept secret.' Tucker hopes to preserve Melody's carefree, communal spirit when he temporarily reopens the space on July 16 while awaiting a buyer for the bungalow. 'Each night is essentially a 'rent party,'' a Monday Instagram post from Melody read. 'Very few rules with cheap prices may encourage you to stick with me 6 nights a week.' Along with 'maybe only one' other employee, Tucker will be the sole staff at Melody when it reopens. He will be making and serving pizzas as his pop-up alter ego Ugly Pie, which has made previous appearances at Melody — though some customers weren't aware that the pop-up was run by Tucker himself. He said that he is prepared to operate the restaurant this way — making the food himself with few to no other employees — 'if I have to,' whether it lasts for two weeks or two years. 'Melody was a really formative place for me to get my feet wet in terms of tasting a bunch of different wines, ' said Princie Kim, a longtime Melody customer who also works in the local wine industry. 'There's no air of pretension in there ... Most nights of the week, I want to feel taken care of, but in a very relaxed and very human, raw way — and Melody gives me that in all ways.' For its final days of regular service, Melody will serve Ugly Pie on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by burgers and fried chicken pop-up Little Piggy on Friday and Hancock Park butcher shop Standing's Butchery on Saturday. While Tucker is unsure how long Melody's temporary reopening will last, he plans to leave Los Angeles afterwards and possibly return to New York. 'It was always really rewarding to look across the room and just see all different types of people in here together,' Tucker said. 'We weren't perfect, but it wasn't supposed to be.'
