Moment Beyoncé Warns Crew About Concert Malfunction Caught on Camera

Miami Heralda day ago
Beyoncé experienced a technical malfunction at her concert in Houston, Texas, over the weekend, and the moment she warned her crew about the mishap was caught on camera.
Newsweek reached out to Beyoncé's representative and her company, Parkwood Entertainment, via email for comment on Monday.
Beyoncé is currently on her Cowboy Carter tour. The "Texas Hold 'Em" singer, 43, announced the news in February following the release of her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter, in March 2024.
The malfunction took place on Saturday while Beyoncé was performing "16 Carriages." The 35-time Grammy Award winner rides on a red prop car over the audience during the song, but halfway through the track, the car stopped and tilted, prompting her to pause the show.
"Stop. Stop, stop, stop, stop," Beyoncé said as the crowd quieted. "Thank you for your patience."
After the car was lowered safely to the ground, the Destiny's Child alum added: "I wanna thank y'all for loving me. If ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me."
On X, formerly Twitter, fan @limegreenroger posted a video of Beyoncé appearing to eyeball her crew ahead of the incident.
"I think I got when Beyoncé caught the malfunction and tried to signal the camera QUICK," he wrote.
At the time of publication, the clip racked up more than 1.5 million views and over 1,100 likes.
This isn't the first time Beyoncé endured a malfunction during a live performance. In 2023, she had a wardrobe malfunction on her Renaissance World Tour in Detroit.
While singing her tune "Break My Soul," the mom of three-who shares daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir with her rapper husband Jay-Z-had to fix one of her gold boots that slid down her leg.
Following Saturday's technical difficulty, Parkwood Entertainment said in a statement shared to their Instagram Story, per Good Morning America: "Tonight in Houston, at NRG stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident."
Beyoncé referenced the malfunction in several Instagram posts after the concert: "I love you, Houston," she wrote in one note and added, "Sittin' Sidewayz," in another.
Beyoncé resumes her Cowboy Carter tour on Friday in Washington, D.C. The tour first kicked off at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium in April, and it ends in Las Vegas on July 26.

Country singer Gavin Adcock blasts Beyonce's 'Cowboy Carter' album, says it's 'not country music'

Country singer Gavin Adcock isn't holding back from his thoughts on Beyoncé's latest album, "Cowboy Carter." The rising star and former college football player made a bold comment about Beyoncé's entry into country music during a recent concert. Adcock brought up the Apple Music country album chart rankings during his performance. Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" is listed at No. 3, while his album, "Own Worst Enemy," sits at No. 4. "One of them's Beyoncé. You can tell her we're coming for her f---in' a--," he said in a fan video. "That s--- ain't country music, and it ain't ever been country music." The "Run Your Mouth" singer later made it clear his criticisms weren't personal in a social media video he captioned, "It ain't country." "I'm going to go ahead and clear this up," he said on X, formerly Twitter. "When I was a little kid, my mama was blasting some Beyoncé in the car. I've heard a ton of Beyoncé songs and I actually remember her Super Bowl Halftime Show being pretty kick-a-- back in the day. "But I really don't believe her album should be labeled as country music. It doesn't sound country, it doesn't feel country… I just don't think that people that have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and this lifestyle should have to compete or watch that album just stay at the top just because she's Beyoncé." Earlier this year, Beyoncé picked up two Grammys for "Cowboy Carter," one for best country album and one for album of the year. In March 2024, the pop star hinted she "did not feel welcomed" in the genre years ago in an Instagram post about the album. "This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn't," she wrote. "But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history." Reps for Adcock and Beyoncé did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Family bought stunning Victorian house for $305K and were shocked by what they found — because it's a former funeral home

This drop-dead gorgeous Victorian home comes with a macabre pedigree. Ashley Berken and her wife were on the house hunt in October when they discovered a 145-year-old Victorian home within their budget, the 39-year-old told Newsweek. They couldn't believe their luck — the Wisconsin home offered enough space for their four children, two home offices and a whole lot of Old World character — all for $305,000. Tiktok/thefuneralhomehouse Advertisement Funeral operations at the house supposedly ceased in the 1960s, according to Berken. Since purchasing the spooky home, Berken has since taken to TikTok to share life inside the captivating property, from slideshows of the home's various vintage doorknobs to debating renovations in the embalming room. Clearly, many are intrigued by this unusual home considering her TikTok account, @thefuneralhomehouse, has close to 28,000 followers and more than 200,000 likes. 'I feel like breathing new life into this space is the perfect intended use for it,' she said in the video. One of her plans is to install a small gardening area next to a nearby window. Advertisement The ornamented property boasts enchanting and surprising details throughout its upper floors, including a tin ceiling in the kitchen, intricate inlaid wood floors, a 10-foot mirror, stained glass windows, a grand staircase and sculptural light fixtures. It also has stunning millwork and original details throughout, but the real story of the home lies in the basement. The expansive subterranean floor — Berken would eventually learn — held the embalming room and casket showroom. The latter of which she's considering turning into a hangout space for her children. A quick search of local records proved her suspicions. Still, Berken called the home 'my absolute dream come true.' The 39-year-old recalled her enduring love of the 1991 classic 'My Girl,' a film in which one of the young protagonists lives with her family in their funeral home. Berken could not be reached for comment before press time. 7 A tin ceiling tops the kitchen. Tiktok/thefuneralhomehouse Advertisement 7 The sculptural light fixtures are original to the home.
