Bayern Munich's Adam Aznou scheduled for Everton medical this weekend

Everton should be able to wrap up a purchase of Bayern Munich fullback Adam Aznou soon. Sport Bild reports that the 19-year-old has indeed lodged a transfer request with his Bundesliga club. Romano confirms numbers originating in a report from The Athletic earlier today. Bayern shall receive a base-transfer-fee for their young talent. An additional €3m in bonuses have beeb tacked on. Aznou, per Romano, will undergo his Everton medical this weekend. Aznou was recalled by Bayern Munich early from his recent loan stint with Real Valladolid in order to participate in the recent club World Cup. Donald Trump To Release Billions In Frozen Funds: What To Know

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. More than $5 billion in frozen education grant funding to the states will be released in the coming weeks, according to the Department of Education. The money, which was used to found a range of initiatives including teacher training and English language programs, was suspended by the Trump administration on June 30 pending a review by the federal Office of Management and Budget. Newsweek contacted the Department of Education for comment on Saturday via email outside of regular office hours. The Context The announcement follows weeks of lobbying from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers concerned about the impact the funding suspension would have on their districts. Lawsuits aiming to get the money unfrozen had been submitted by 24 states and the District of Columbia along with a separate group of teaching unions, school districts and parents. What To Know On Friday, the Department of Education spokesperson Madi Biedermann said the funding had been unfrozen and would begin being paid out next week. The money was part of a larger sum of nearly $7 billion that had been approved by Congress for education spending and was due to be released on July 1, but that the Trump administration announced it had placed a block the previous day. On June 30, the Education Department announced the spending was under review with the Office of Management and Budget saying it would investigate whether it had previously been spent supporting a "radical left-wing agenda." Andrew Harnik/GETTY The money had been earmarked for a number of services including migrant education, English language programs and adult education with $2.2 billion committed to teachers' professional development. On Friday the administration said there would be "guardrails" in place to ensure the released money wasn't spent "in violation of executive orders or administration policy." Earlier this month the Supreme Court ruled the Department of Education can go ahead with its plan to lay off nearly 1,400 workers. The Trump administration reportedly considered abolishing the Department of Education in its entirety earlier this year. What People Are Saying In a post on X, Nebraska House Republican Don Bacon wrote: "Exciting news to announce! All frozen education funding for the upcoming school year have been released." Referring to the payments on Friday at the National Governors Association's summer meeting Education Secretary Linda McMahon said: "I would think now that we've reviewed them … a year from now, we wouldn't find ourselves in the same situation." Addressing The Washington Post Democratic Senator Patty Murray said: "This administration deserves no credit for just barely averting a crisis they themselves set in motion. "You don't thank a burglar for returning your cash after you've spent a month figuring out if you'd have to sell your house to make up the difference." Speaking to Axios Republican Senator Shelley Moore Capito said: "The programs are ones that enjoy long-standing, bipartisan support like after-school and summer programs that provide learning and enrichment opportunities for school aged children, which also enables their parents to work and contribute to local economies, and programs to support adult learners working to gain employment skills, earn workforce certifications, or transition into postsecondary education." Skye Perryman, president of the Democracy Forward campaign group, said: "While this development shows that legal and public pressure can make a difference, school districts, parents, and educators should not have to take the administration to court to secure funds for their students." What Happens Next Payments from the frozen funding should start going out next week according to the Department of Education.

Complete Guide to Hiring the Best UAE Digital Marketing Agency for Local SEO & Social Growth

You've built something great — a product or service you're proud of, maybe even a shiny new website. But here's the problem: no one's finding you. You're not showing up in search. Your social media feels like shouting into the void. The leads you do get are either cold or completely irrelevant. We get it. At The Meta Future, we've worked with businesses across the UAE who were facing the same frustration. They weren't failing — they were simply unseen. The good news? That changes fast when you work with the right digital marketing agency in the UAE and invest in smart, consistent local SEO Dubai strategies. If you've been struggling to get noticed online — this is your roadmap to visibility, engagement, and real growth. Before you hand over your digital presence to an agency, ask the questions most people don't — the ones that separate talk from results. An agency isn't just a service provider. It's a long-term partner. Start with: Do they specialize in your market? Local experience matters. UAE consumers have unique habits, cultural nuances, and digital behaviors. Local experience matters. UAE consumers have unique habits, cultural nuances, and digital behaviors. Do case studies back results? Anyone can promise traffic. You want to see proof: increased leads, higher conversion rates, local ranking wins. Anyone can promise traffic. You want to see proof: increased leads, higher conversion rates, local ranking wins. Who's actually doing the work? If strategy is outsourced or assigned to junior staff, that's a red flag. Also, please pay attention to how they talk. A good agency speaks your language — no jargon, no fluff, just clear strategy and measurable goals. Let's be blunt. If you're not on Google's local map pack, you're missing most of the action. Local SEO Dubai is all about being the obvious choice when someone nearby searches for what you offer. That means: Optimizing your Google Business Profile (photos, hours, categories, reviews) Creating content that targets local keywords (in both English and Arabic) Making sure your name, address, and phone number (NAP) are consistent everywhere online Want a pro-level checklist? Search Engine Journal's local SEO checklist breaks it down into actionable steps, from citations to schema markup. Local SEO is an ongoing process — but done right, it brings you the most valuable kind of traffic: people ready to buy right now. Choosing an SEO agency Dubai isn't about finding the biggest name — it's about finding the best fit for your goals. Some agencies offer cookie-cutter packages. Others build real, data-driven strategies. Here's what the best ones do: Combine technical audits with strong content planning Track conversions — not just keyword rankings Stay up to date with Google's algorithm changes Customize SEO for mobile-first and multilingual search If your agency isn't talking about page load speed, site structure, and content intent — they're behind. And SEO moves fast. That's why it's worth reviewing resources like Backlinko's Local SEO Guide to understand the real playbook top agencies are using. Hiring a social media agency Dubai shouldn't mean just posting memes or running boosted posts. If that's all they offer, you're leaving serious money on the table. Ask this: Do they craft strategy before content? Are they measuring real ROI — leads, not just likes? Can they blend organic content with paid campaigns? The right social strategy does more than attract eyeballs. It builds trust. It opens conversations. And in markets like the UAE, it has to resonate across languages, cultures, and platforms — Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, maybe even Snapchat. Social media should support your business goals, not just chase trends. Let's decode what social media marketing services in Dubai really mean. Agencies often throw around big service lists. But are those services aligned with your brand? Your audience? Your budget? Here's what a complete package should include: A multi-platform content strategy Branded creative assets in Arabic and English Paid campaign management (with clear ad spend breakdown) Monthly performance reporting and campaign optimization Optional services like influencer collaboration or motion graphics can work well — if they support your broader goal. Don't pay for noise. Pay for results. Ask: Does every piece of content serve a purpose? If not, it's just clutter. There's a difference between cheap and smart. Real affordable SEO services prioritize ROI — not shortcuts. If you see offers like '100 backlinks for $20,' run. Instead, a smart budget SEO strategy will: Focus on high-impact, low-competition keywords Optimize your most profitable pages first Address technical SEO errors early (broken links, redirects, mobile issues) Think of SEO as a long game. A good agency will guide you through phases: technical foundation, on-page optimization, and then content expansion. Cheap SEO might cost you your domain reputation. Affordable SEO earns it. Selling online? You need more than a slick Shopify store. You need ecommerce SEO Dubai — a strategy built for how people shop in this market. That includes: Optimized product descriptions and image alt-text Fast page speed (especially on mobile) Arabic and English product content Clear delivery, pricing, and returns info Your ecommerce site isn't just a store. It's a search engine asset. Use keywords naturally in product titles and descriptions. Add structured data (schema) so search engines 'understand' your pages. Most importantly: track what matters — not just visits, but purchases, bounce rate, and abandoned cart recovery. At The Meta Future, we've helped UAE brands get real results: higher rankings, better visibility, and social campaigns that actually convert. Our team blends data with local insights, so every move is based on strategy — not guesswork. We care because we've seen what happens when businesses stay invisible. And we know how powerful it feels when your ideal customers finally find you. If you're ready to stop playing small and start showing up where it counts, let's talk. Your growth is waiting — and we're here to help make it happen. TIME BUSINESS NEWS
