To extend the time between wash days, I've been using this dry shampoo, which uses finely milled powders to mattify my hair and absorb excess oils. I prefer non-aerosol dry shampoo like this one for vacations, but they tend to be messier than sprays. This one has an attached compact puff that allows me to apply the powder to my hair and scalp easily without causing a mess. This hair gel helps define all curl types and adds shine, humidity protection and control, according to the brand. 'I've tried other hair gels over the past few months, but none have performed better than this one,' says NBC Select SEO editor Nikki Brown, who uses it daily. 'Like other gels, you have to be mindful of how much you use (especially with very short hair), but this one never leaves my hair looking flaky.
