The photos that will break David and Victoria Beckham's hearts: Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz pose in Moncler ad that they secretly flew to UK to shoot amid family feud

They're the photographs that will break David and Victoria Beckham 's hearts.
Not because they aren't happy for their beloved son Brooklyn taking part in such a high-profile advertising campaign, friends say they will always be proud of him, but because it will bring back horrid memories for the couple.
For it is the photoshoot for Moncler clothing - described as a 'love letter to London' - that the couple secretly flew into the UK to do without telling his parents or younger siblings despite the location being only two miles from the family home in Holland Park, West London.
They were also just around a mile from the Chelsea Flower show where David was a guest.
It was made all the more painful for Posh and Becks because the shoot took place less than two weeks after Brooklyn and wife Nicola snubbed David's 50th birthday celebrations.
What will be more galling is that while the couple, their sons Romeo and Cruz, as well as daughter Harper were devastated by the snub, it was business as usual for Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, as they posed for the upmarket French brand.
It was yet another sign that the rift between the couple and David and Victoria was deep.
The pair posed in his 'n' hers matching quilted jackets - one black and another cream a which sell for more than £1000.
One source close to the Beckhams reveals how they distraught David and Victoria were that they didn't tell them they were coming from LA to London for the job.
'Brooklyn and Nicola didn't have the courtesy to tell any of the family they were coming back to London.
'While by that point they knew that the rift was irreparable, what about Cruz, what about Harper?
'There were no issues between those to and Brooklyn yet he travelled 5000 miles and didn't arrange to see anyone.'
The decision, I'm told, was regarded as 'disgracefully rude' by many in the Beckham circles.
And it gets worse for the Beckhams in the press release which accompanies the pictures. Brooklyn and Nicola undoubtedly rub salt into their parents very open wounds with their words.
'London holds so many memories for both of us,' they said in a joint statement.

And then in a further sting, Brooklyn gushes over Nicola, who he married in April 2022 in a lavish £3million ceremony at her parents £76million Florida mansion
'We first said 'I love you' here, so coming back always takes us back to that moment. When Moncler first brought up shooting this special campaign here, we were excited about the opportunity to bring the London vibe to life.'
There was, of course, no mention of David and Victoria, or Brooklyn's childhood in the capital.
And then in a further sting, Brooklyn gushes over Nicola, who he married in April 2022 in a lavish £3million ceremony at her parents £76million Florida mansion.
'Nicola and I move in sync,' said Brooklyn. 'That's what this campaign is all about, being in tune with each other and with the city around us — London, a city we love.
'Sharing moments in places that are special to us both. This shoot felt like a snapshot into our life — walking through the city, laughing between takes, wearing pieces that we would wear in our everyday lives.'
The family are seen all together for Victoria's 50th birthday party in 2024 before the feud erupted
For the Beckhams, there is also the issue Nicola's connection to Brooklyn which is undeniably fortuitous when it comes to getting brand deals such as Moncler.
While Nicola's billionaire father, the ruthless businessman Nelson, is far more wealthy than the Beckhams, Brooklyn's parents have the globally known surname which is also very lucrative.
'The view is that Nicola wouldn't be getting quite so much influencer type work if she wasn't with a Beckham,' says one family source.
'When was the last time Brooklyn did anything on his own? It's now always with her.'

Grace Pervades review — Ralph Fiennes is magnetic

A great contemporary actor plays a great late-Victorian actor manager. Does the notion of Grace Pervades, a new play by David Hare starring Ralph Fiennes as Henry Irving, sound like theatre eating itself? It is a bit, though Fiennes is too magnetic and Hare's script too stacked with bon mots and insights ever to be less than interesting. Irving ran the Lyceum Theatre in London from 1878 to 1902, plying a proudly old-fashioned programme of great plays featuring great roles for Henry Irving. And Grace Pervades starts Fiennes's own season of actor-managing, directing As You Like It in August here before starring with his ex Francesca Annis in a new play, Small Hotel, in October. The play's best moments revolve around Irving's relationship, largely professional, with his leading lady, Ellen Terry. In fact you can't help but wish all of its moments were about them and there was less time spent on her theatrical offspring, Edward Gordon Craig and Edith Craig. Partly that's because Fiennes, donning a series of ever-whitening wigs, is sincere, caustic, reserved, repressed, vain, generous — whatever the moment requires — and you wish for as much as you can get of him. Miranda Raison, as Ellen Terry, is engagingly elegant but the character feels like a foil to Irving MARC BRENNER Fiennes shows Irving the actor-micromanager, fastidiously controlling except when it comes to Terry. She can do whatever she likes. Miranda Raison lends Terry an engagingly elegant lightness but struggles, I think, to inhabit fully a character who feels like a foil to the more tunnel-visioned Irving, much though she pulls him up on his foibles. • David Hare interview: 'I have been heartily kicked by the BBC' Time that might have fleshed out this pair more is instead spent following the influential yet seemingly impossible Edward and the crusading Edith, who produces huge numbers of plays while living in a menage a trois in Kent. Every exchange has something going for it, but you wonder what all these character studies and theatrical theories are supposed to add up to. Still, a large cast rises to the challenges of a production, by Jeremy Herrin, played out on a huge area with visible wings and proscenium arch upstage (design by Bob Crowley). Jordan Metcalfe gives Edward a prim perfectionism that makes it easier to buy into this self-proclaimed genius as a great postulator than a great libertine. Bohemian Edith is played with name-making aplomb in her professional theatre debut by Ruby Ashbourne Serkis. (Suitably enough, in a play about theatrical dynasties, she is the child of two successful actors, Lorraine Ashbourne and Andy Serkis.) The cast rises to the challenge of the production MARC BRENNER Do we ever quite know what the story of these differently driven, devotedly theatrical types is supposed to make us feel? Not really. And it's one of those plays that changes time and place often enough that characters spend too much time reminding each other who they are and what they are about. But take it on its own slightly rambling terms and Grace Pervades has far too many ideas in its head ever to be dull.★★★☆☆ 150mins Bath Theatre Royal, to Jul 19, Follow @timesculture to read the latest reviews

Dita Von Teese, 52, steals the show in a glitzy silver bejewelled gown for the world premiere of her Diamonds and Dust burlesque show

Dita Von Teese put on a dazzling display in a glitzy silver bejewelled and sequined gown for the world premiere of her Diamonds and Dust show. The burlesque star, 52, is bringing a new theatrical experience featuring 'high glamour, bold women, and dangerous games' to the Emerald Theatre in London. For Thursday's premiere, Dita stole the show in a stunning silver gown, which featured a bejewelled bodice and a sequined wrap skirt. She paired the look with silver strappy heels and diamond drop earrings, with her signature black tresses styled in a glamorous 1930s style. Dita was joined for the premiere by a host of stars, including Diamonds and Dust lead actress Faye Tozer. Steps star Faye - who plays Miss Kitty LeRoy - echoed the founder's style in a boat-neck figure-hugging bejewelled gown. Faye paired the look with diamante stilettos and diamond chain earrings, with her blonde locks were styled in voluminous waves. Also in attendance on Thursday was former Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson, who opted for simple-yet-chic. The reality star and campaigner stepped out for the premiere in a draping black shirt maxi-dress, as she accessorised with a Louis Vuitton handbag and gold earrings. Another reality star spotted on the red carpet was Married At First Sight UK's Ella Morgan. Ella looked glamorous in a black satin halterneck gown, featuring a plunging cowl-neck, as she carried a gold metal handbag. Meanwhile Boy George made an appearance sporting a striking bright pink hat adorned with stars as well as eccentric black trainers with rope laces. Great British Bake Off star Candice Brown was among those at the premiere. The baker stunned in a bright pink and red satin figure-hugging gown, which featured a racy cut-out at the bust. Steps star Faye - who plays Miss Kitty LeRoy - echoed the founder's style in a boat-neck figure-hugging bejewelled gown Model and DJ Lady Mary Charteris put on a daring display for the evening as she stepped out in a very sheer knitted dress, complete with beaded cut-outs. Underneath her dress Mary's bra and pants were on show and she had a red and light pink skull scarf tied onto her dress. Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova meanwhile looked incredible in a pair of black satin shorts with a matching velvet bralet and blazer. Another Strictly star out in force was Aljaz Skorjanec, who arrived on the carpet in a burgundy suit. Credited with re-popularising burlesque, Dita, born Heather Renée Sweet, is an American vedette and businesswoman. A vedette is the main female artist of a show derived from cabaret and its subcategories of revue, vaudeville, music hall or burlesque. In January, Dita left Lorraine viewers swooning in a plunging gown as she revealed the 'most outrageous challenge of her life' on the hit daytime show. Wearing a black midi Vivienne Westwood dress, the burlesque star, 52, dazzled on today's ITV show. Her glamorous off-the-shoulder attire was made of gathered fabric at the top and had long, slim sleeves and buttons along the front. The model opened up to Lorraine Kelly about her time on The Masked Dancer. Dita starred on the ITV competition back in 2021 and dressed as a beetroot in a green and purple dress with a mask the shape of the vegetable. She revealed to Lorraine how she had suffered with vertigo from riding a mechanical bull and subsequently found dancing on the show difficult. Dita said: 'I had vertigo from riding my mechanical bull, I was riding my mechanical bull, swinging my head around and I triggered a vertigo thing and it was a problem for a year so I'm doing The Masked Dancer with this head and the lights on the floor were crazy, it was outrageous. 'It was one of the biggest challenges of my life but it was funny and I loved it,' the dancer added. The show was filmed during the Covid pandemic and Dita stayed at Claridges during the filming. Dita said: 'It was my favourite, besides doing the show and laughing throughout, it was right when the pandemic started and it was a full lockdown here and I was the only guest at Claridges.' She enjoyed a mostly empty hotel and 'special treatment' during her stay. 'I had it all to myself, I'd come wafting down that staircase in the mornings in my nightgown. There were like five people working there and I just had special treatment and they were like sure, you can stay there, because I'm a friend of the hotel,' Dita added.
