Jessie J Hospitalized 2 Months after Breast Cancer Diagnosis: "Finding It Hard to Breathe In"

Yara Sameh
Jessie J has been admitted again to the hospital just two months after she revealed her early breast cancer diagnosis.
'Six weeks post-surgery, and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned,' the Grammy nominee wrote on her Instagram Stories Sunday, alongside a photo of her arm plugged into the IVs.
'I had, and still have, symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung. IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT, THANK GOD.'
She continued that after the doctors ran several tests, they suspected that she had 'a little fluid' in her lungs and an unknown infection,".
'Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night. I hate being in [the] hospital,' Jessie shared, adding that she will 'continue the investigation as an outpatient.'
'I know many people who will have gone through this or similar may agree with me or not, and that's OK,' the 'Bang Bang' hitmaker, 37, wrote in a follow-up post, defending her decision to leave the hospital.
'I know, for me, the true hard journey of this whole thing physically was the day I went into surgery. The recovery, physically, is far from quick or easy.'
Throughout the ordeal, she shared that the 'most challenging time' for her to deal with the ongoing health scare was while also being a mom to her 2-year-old son, Sky, and 'being unable to be the mother I usually am.'
'And having to change the plans for my career for this year has been frustrating after working so hard to get to this point and excited to do it all. It's life, I know that,' the 'Domino' singer added.
Still, Jessie said receiving her 'all clear' diagnosis was 'incredible.'
'But that result didn't speed up or make the recovery from the surgery any easier physically,' she added, noting that she needed to remind herself to 'slow tf down' so she could heal.
'This isn't a speedy recovery, and it isn't meant to be,' Jessie said. 'That slow pace has been a hard reality to accept. I love moving and working and being up and active, but I can't be right now, and that's what it is. I am finding the strength in knowing that all can be adjusted to align with a slower pace and the support of my very small inner support circle.'
The 'Price Tag' singer disclosed to her followers that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in June.
'Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early,'' she said in an emotional video shared on social media, before adding that she would soon be having surgery.
'It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I will come back with massive tits and more music,' she joked.
After her June 23 surgery, Jessie announced the procedure was successful and all of the cancerous spots had been removed.

Reports: BTS Involved in Secret Michael Jackson Music Project Featuring Unreleased Track

Rana Atef On Sunday, a new report by the Irish Sun claimed that trending K-pop group BTS took part in a secret music project involving a previously unreleased Michael Jackson track recorded in 2006. The song was initially intended for a new album by the late King of Pop, but the project was halted before completion. It was recorded at Grouse Lodge Studio, a converted stable in the Irish countryside, where Jackson had several recording sessions during his stay, alongside notable names like producer Rodney Jerkins and singer Ne-Yo. Studio owner Paddy Dunning recently stated that the tracks were part of a tribute album concept. For the first time, he revealed that BTS was among the 'global stars' invited to re-record some of the songs. 'We began the sessions last year,' Dunning said. 'We hosted BTS here at Grouse Lodge, where they recorded one of the tracks.' The project reportedly included around ten tracks linked to Michael Jackson, either written or developed in collaboration with his Irish-based team at the time. He confirmed that preparations are ongoing, with support from members of Jackson's original creative team. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results
