iQOO Z10 Lite 5G launching with 6,000mAh battery on June 18: Check expected price, specs and more

India Today06-06-2025
After introducing the iQOO Z10 and the Z10x in India last April, iQOO is all set to expand the Z10 series with the launch of the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G. The company has released an official teaser claiming the upcoming Z10 Lite 5G will have the biggest battery in the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment, i.e., a 6,000mAh unit. Apart from this, the teaser shows that the upcoming device is going to sport a dual-rear camera setup and will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. For context, the standard iQOO Z10 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the Z10x runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.

According to a teaser shared by iQOO India on X (formerly Twitter), the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G will officially launch in India on June 18. As seen in the image, the phone will come in a blue colour option. However, we do expect to see the phone launch in other colour variants as well. Interestingly, X accounts of Snapdragon India and Amazon India have also been tagged in the post, suggesting that the upcoming phone will feature a Snapdragon chip under the hood and will be available for purchase via Amazon.
Other than this, no official details are known about the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G yet.
When it comes to expectations, the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G could likely feature a 6.5 to 6.7-inch IPS LCD display, with an HD+ resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. Its predecessor, the Z9 Lite, launched with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

On the inside, expect to see a Snapdragon processor, as mentioned above — possibly the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, an SoC we've already seen in phones such as the Redmi 14C 5G and Poco M7 5G. The Z9 Lite was powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC.
iQOO has already confirmed that the battery capacity of the Z10 Lite 5G will be 6,000mAh, which is a notable bump from the 5,000mAh battery seen on the Z9 Lite. However, we expect the charging speeds to remain the same as last year's model, i.e., 15W, with a charger bundled inside the box. In terms of software, the phone will likely ship with Funtouch OS 15 atop Android 15.
Finally, in terms of optics, we are not expecting major upgrades here. The iQOO Z10 Lite 5G will likely feature a similar camera setup as the Z9 Lite, i.e., a 50-megapixel dual-rear setup along with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
As for pricing, the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G is expected to start at Rs 9,999, qualifying it for the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. The phone would likely come with 4GB and 6GB RAM options, and at least 128GB of base storage, similar to its predecessor.
We'll get to know more about the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G on June 18. Stay tuned to India Today Tech for all the latest updates on iQOO's upcoming budget device.

The upcoming device is expected to offer better value by upgrading the processor from the Dimensity 8400 to the more advanced 8500. The new chipset uses TSMC's 4-nanometer manufacturing process and includes the Mali G720 GPU, which enables it to achieve scores above 2,000,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark test, NOTEBOOK Check reported.
