Shoppers looking for stylish home decor love a 'gorgeous' B&M option with an 'amazing price'
B&M is known for its affordable yet stylish home decor, with shoppers regularly sharing videos praising the retailer's selection. One customer who loves wavey mirrors, but couldn't justify spending upwards of £100 on the trendy decor, has shared her delight after finding a £10 version at B&M.

Posting on Instagram and TikTok as @anotherbeigeterrace, she heaped praise on her "bargain" find. Her Instagram post read: "This could be one of my favourite home buys yet!! I've been eyeing up a wave edge mirror for a while, but couldn't justify the £80-£110 price tags. The price of this one, however, is on the last slide and NOT a typo."

On TikTok, the shopper added: "RUN to B&M for this £10 mirror." While the social media user didn't specify which mirrors she'd been looking at, there are lots of pricier lookalikes.

For example, Argos' Habitat Solid Ash Wavy Wall Mirror arguably looks similar to B&M's offering, but it's more expensive at £80. The product description reads: "Add a splash of style to your space with this Scandi-esque mirror. Edged with a curvaceous ash wood frame it'll give a wall an instant uplift while creating an extra sense of light and space."
Elsewhere, Next offers a Natural Wooden Wavy Pine Rectangular Wall Mirror that's comparable to the cheaper option. It's described as "a solid wood pine rectangular framed mirror" that "adds interest to any space."

Once more, it's much pricier, listed for £110. There will be some differences between each product, such as material and shape, but the B&M mirror could still be a tempting option for shoppers looking for an affordable option with a similar design.
The mirror certainly impressed social media users. Both of @anotherbeigeterrace's posts were flooded with positive comments from excited shoppers. One fan of the look said: "Oh what a beauty. I need!!"
A second comment said: "Wow what a steal, it's gorgeous" and a third replied: "TEN BRITISH POUNDS?!", adding a heart eyes emoji. More praise came from a commenter who said: "This is so gorg!!!! Need." Another fan wrote: "Immediately gets in the car to go find one!!!!" A keen shopper shared: "What an amazing price!!!"

Someone else said: "This is so good," and the shopper replied: "I know I'm obsessed." Elsewhere, a fan asked: "Love this! How big is it?" The shopper replied: "How good?! in the absence of a tape measure I would say around an A3 sheet of paper size."
The mirror is not currently listed on B&M's website, so shoppers are advised to check their local store. However, the retailer's website does offer a wide selection of mirrors, including a £10 Wave Mirror with a different design. The product description states: "Adorn your home with this stylish Wave Mirror. A sleek and stylish addition to your home."
Other options include a £24 Pebble Wood Mirror and a £16 Wooden Mirror 50cm. There's also a £10 Round Mirror With Wooden Stand and a £10 Black Mirror with Wooden Shelf.

Brit comedian 'could be jailed' for three years in Turkey after 'embarrassing mistake'

Cerys Nelmes, a stand-up comic, claims that she walked out of a Zara shop in Turkey without paying and although returning and owning up to her error, she was arrested. A British comedian who walked out of a Turkish Zara store without paying could face up to three years behind bars, despite going back to apologise upon realising her mistake. On July 22, Cerys Nelmes, a stand-up comic from Bristol, said it was a mistake and claimed she left the store with clothes before realising she had not gone through the till. After returning to the store to hand back the items and offering to pay, Nelmes says she was instead detained, locked in a room for hours without explanation, and eventually arrested for shoplifting, reports the Mirror. She said she was taken to a police station, pressured to sign documents in a language she could not read, and held in a cell for 24 hours with no food, water or a toilet. She said: "I was told they didn't understand me." The next day, she was brought before a judge who released her but banned her from leaving the country. She now faces a potential three-year sentence as the case proceeds. Nelmes says she is stranded in Turkey, unable to afford accommodation and missing out on work back home, putting her and her son at risk of losing their UK home. She said: "I'm ok and have been taken in by a Turkish family who gave me food and a bed. I don't deserve all the kind words from people but I am very grateful." Recounting what happened, she said that she had left the store with several items of clothing before realising her error. Despite returning to the store, claiming she had returned the items and wanted to pay, Nelmes was seized for shoplifting. The English stand-up comic explained the incident in a social media post saying: "On Tuesday I left a Zara store in Istanbul without paying for items. "I returned straight away and handed the items to staff. I was asked to pay and I said I would and the manager accepted this. To cut a long story short I was then taken to a locked room where hours later after no communication from anyone I was taken away by police and held in a police station and was asked to sign things I couldn't read. "I was put in a prison cell for 24 hours with no food or toilet facilities. When I asked for water, I was told they didn't understand me. "I was handcuffed and taken for fingerprints and mugshots at 3am. I was handcuffed and taken to court the following day and put in a cell. "I appeared before the judge and was told by a translator that I was released, but unable to leave Turkey for an undetermined amount of time. He said I was lucky to not be put in prison but I currently face up to three years. I have to report to a local police station every Monday. "I am lucky I have good friends in Turkey who are currently looking after me, and trying to translate the paperwork. I have no money, no earnings coming in from home, and I am running out of important medication. I will lose my home which I share with my son, and livelihood. "I am not looking for sympathy. I made a mistake which I tried to immediately rectify. I am embarrassed for my friends, my family, and I have made my 78-year-old mum unwell. I will never forgive myself for what I have done. "I believe I did it for mental health medical problems, but ultimately there is no excuse." The comedian has asked for public support as the ongoing court proceedings are causing her to lose work and earnings. The British Embassy said in a short statement that they are providing their support. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Here is a list of the most devastating deaths that have taken place in soapland over the years. EASTENDERS Barry Evans - Evil Janine (Charlie Brooks) lured her trusting fiance to Scotland for a quickie marriage after learning he was dying. Her plan to inherit Barry's fortune was thwarted when Barry told her that the doctors had mixed up his medical files. Furious that she was no longer set for a windfall, she pushed Barry off a cliff after telling him their love was 'fake'. Bradley Branning - Bradley was accused of killing Stacey Slater's rapist Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb) after he punched him twice on the night he died. He was spotted in the Square by a police woman who chased him up a fire escape. Bradley lost his balance and tragically plunged to his death. CORONATION STREET Tina McIntyre - Tina was getting it on with Peter Barlow - despite him being married to Carla Connor. When she threatened to reveal the truth, Carla's brother Rob got into a physical altercation with her. Tina lost her footing and fell off a balcony - then warned Rob she was going to tell the cops he pushed her. In a panic, Rob brutally clobbered her over the head with a metal pipe. Molly Dobbs - Molly was one of the victims in Corrie's 2010 tram crash, alongside Ashley Peacock (Steven Arnold). Married to Tyrone (Alan Halsall), Molly had been having an affair with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) in the months before her death. This resulted in the birth of their son, Jack (Kyran Bowes), who was named after Jack Duckworth. As fate would have it, Kevin's wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) was by Molly's side in her final moments. Sally was stunned as Molly confessed Kevin was Jack's father, before dying of her injuries. Vera Duckworth - Having appeared regularly in Corrie since the 1970s, there was no denying Vera Duckworth was an iconic character. Alongside her husband Jack, the pair formed one of the soap's most beloved couples. Viewers were heartbroken when Vera was killed off in 2008, being discovered having passed away peacefully in her chair. Liz Dawn, who played Vera, made a brief return two years later for Bill Tarmey's exit as Jack. Paul Foreman - Fans were heartbroken when Paul Foreman succumbed to his illness after battling motor neurone disease. Introduced in 2018 as David Platt's (Jack P. Shepherd) cellmate, he later embarked on a romance - and marriage - with vicar Billy Mayhew. The MND storyline was announced in 2023 - with the expectation it would result in the character's death. EMMERDALE Sarah Sugden - After the family got into financial problems, Sarah's son Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) decided to make some quick cash from an insurance company by setting fire to the Sugden barn. He didn't realise his mum was inside the building, and she got trapped in the blaze. Nine villagers - The shocking 1993 plane crash episode brought in 18 million viewers for Emmerdale. Mark Hughes was killed by a falling wall, Archie Brooks was burned by jet fuel, Elizabeth Pollard was killed by debris and newcomer Leonard Kempinski died in a car crash caused by the crash. Five other non-recurring characters from the village also died. HOLLYOAKS Carmel McQueen - The talented singer died in shocking scenes when a train crashed into a her family's car. Carmel managed to free her cousin Theresa from the rubble - but got stuck in it herself. Moments later the train exploded and Carmel died in the arms of her family members, promising to be their guardian angel. To which Rita replied: "Lips and cheeks", while adding an 'X' to the end. Elsewhere, the star's famous uncle has suggested how she could return to EastEnders. Lord Alan Sugar, 78, who many know as the star of The Apprentice, is her uncle by marriage.
