One dead after fire engulfs RV in Valley Glen
The fire was first reported just after 1:15 p.m. in the 13400 block of W. Raymer Street, in an industrial area near Woodman Avenue and Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"Though the fire was prevented from extending to businesses or other vehicles parked nearby, the remains of one person were found within the charred remnants of the Class A-style motor home," firefighters said.
The victim has not yet been identified.
No other injuries were reported in the fire and investigators are working to determine a cause.

A woman was found dead in the back of a vehicle on the shoulder of I-695 in Baltimore County on Sunday morning, according to the Maryland State Police. A trooper stopped to check on a black Jeep Wrangler around 9:45 a.m. near Perring Parkway when a woman was found unresponsive. Emergency responders pronounced her dead in the vehicle, according to state police. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

When these facts were brought to the attention of the Homeland Security Department, it agreed that Mr. Martins couldn't be in two places at one time. In June 2024 it took down a bad entry log. This month it suddenly reappeared on CBP Orlando's website.
