Love Island's Harry and Helena rekindle their romance as they FINALLY couple up again after Shakira love triangle

Daily Maila day ago
Love Island took a dramatic turn as viewers were left reeling from a surprise recoupling that saw some exes reunite once again.
In Friday night's explosive episode, Shakira Khan, 26, confronted Harry Cooksley, 30, over his flirtatious antics with Helena Ford, 29, and things took quite the turn.
She ended up cooling things off with Harry and, despite his objections there was nothing going on, he ended up packing on the PDA with Helena in the Hideaway just hours later.
In a shock recoupling, he then made the decision to recouple with Helena and made a very loved-up speech, despite Shakira watching on looking very unimpressed.
Shakira had been growing increasingly frustrated with the mixed messages he had been giving her and Helena Ford, 29, and decided to confront Harry head-on.
She challenged him directly, saying: 'You said you've fully ended it with Helena, [and that] there's nothing there with her.'
But before Harry could fully respond, Meg stepped in, calling him out in front of the group: 'You're telling two different girls two different things. Something's not adding up there.'
Harry defended himself, replying: 'I think that I've been honest with you…'
Shakira then cooled things down between them as she cut things off, and Harry wasted no time in flirting with Helena again.
Harry chose Helena to join him in the Hideaway for a private moment together – away from prying eyes and the two plotted how to rekindle things.
There was even more upheaval as a surprise recoupling text landed, which read: 'Islanders, today there will be a recoupling where the boys will choose which girl they'd like to recouple with…'
As the girls stood nervously by the firepit, the recoupling shifted the power dynamics once again – with Harry deciding to try again with Helena.
Harry made a very gushing speech about his affections towards Helena, despite spending the previous days denying their connection to Shakira.
For his speech, he said: 'I'd like to couple up with this girl cos she's like the female version of me.
He added that there was 'something undeniable' between the two of them with the pair always finding themselves drawn back together
If that wasn't enough of a twist, at the end of the episode there was a teaser for Sunday's episode which sees six new girls enter the villa, much to the surprise of everyone
As the girls walk onto the terrace and wave at the Islanders below, Harry was seen looking stunned as he exclaimed: 'Oh my god it's my ex!' causing viewers to comment straight away on X
'She makes me laugh, she's made me cry a few times. The last few days in the villa for me have been tough, but it's been tough for this girl as well, along with one other.
'There's something undeniable apparently and i'm starting to believe it myself and we seem to have found our way back to each other like we always do.
'So the girl I want to couple up with is Helena.'
Shakira then ended up back in a couple with her ex Ben Holbrough, who left the Islanders open-mouthed with his awkward speech.
If that wasn't enough of a twist, at the end of the episode there was a teaser for Sunday's episode which sees six new girls enter the villa, much to the surprise of everyone.
Six female bombshells were seen strutting on to the terrace, much to the surprise of the boys and surprisingly, also the original girls - who were still in the villa.
In an unexpected turn, Meg was the one to break the news as she read out the girls' names - Yaz, Lauren, Andrada, Lucy, Rheo and Emma.
As the girls walked on to the terrace and waved at the Islanders below, Harry was seen looking stunned as he exclaimed: 'Oh my god it's my ex!'
MailOnline understands that the bombshell in question is Emma Munro, 30, from Norwich.
Fans took to X to share their thoughts at the shock twist writing: 'They got Harry's ex in there Helena you're bones #LoveIslandUk #loveisland'
'Helena's karma is here in form of Harry's ex'
'Just when Helena thought she got her man they throw in Harry's ex #loveisland'
'Casa the day after Helena and Harry coupled up #LoveIslandUK #loveisland'
'Of course the ex is Harry's (but love seeing Helena getting her karma though) #loveisland'
'Bringing in Harry's ex Helena girl your done give these producers a raise #loveisland'
'Harry's ex in casa?? And Helena knows. Can't wait for her to get a taste of her own medicine. #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland.'
Liverpudlian make-up artist Lucy Quinn, 20, is also among the new bombshells and the girls certainly look set to turn some heads.

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne bids farewell with Black Sabbath reunion

Rock superstar Ozzy Osbourne bid farewell to fans with a Black Sabbath reunion in his final ever live performance. The legendary rocker told thousands of heavy metal enthusiasts at Villa Park, Birmingham – a stone's throw from where Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 – that it was 'so good to be on this stage' as he performed his last set from a large black throne. Advertisement Osbourne and his fellow original Black Sabbath members – Tony Iommi, Terence 'Geezer' Butler and Bill Ward – were the last to appear on stage as part of a star-studded line-up for the Back to the Beginning concert. Osbourne – who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 – plans to continue to record music, but said that the concert marked the end for him performing live. The 76-year-old, nicknamed the Prince of Darkness, entered the stage for the final time by rising on his throne through a trap door. Advertisement He started the performance by saying: 'Let me hear you. Are you ready? Let the madness begin!' Later, he added: 'It's so good to be on this f****** stage. You have no idea. I f****** love you all. Let me see your hands in the air. You are the best, each and every one of you. God bless you all.' In an emotional moment, Ozzy said: 'I don't know what to say, man, I've been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart. 'You're all f****** special. Let's go crazy, come on.' He finished his performance with Crazy Train, before confetti rained over a packed Villa Park. After a short break, he re-entered the stage to join the rest of Black Sabbath – for the first time in 20 years – in a special reunion. The band performed some of their greatest hits to the adoration of the crowd, ending with a rendition of Paranoid for the ultimate send-off. Advertisement Fans chanted 'Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy' as the rock legend thanked and blew kisses to those in attendance, before departing in an emotional ending to cap off an illustrious career on stage. Video messages from celebrities made clear the impact both Osbourne and Black Sabbath have had on the music industry. Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon Osbourne in the press room at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2018 (PA) In one of the messages before his performance, Sir Elton John told Osbourne: 'You are one of the most remarkable singers of our time. 'You are the king, you are the legend. Advertisement 'You've been through so much crap in the last few years – I hope this is the best day of your life so far.' In his message, taken in the bath, Gervais quipped: 'My everlasting memory of you will be from when we were on the Graham Norton Show together, and they had to stop the recording because we both needed a piss, so maybe have one before you go on stage tonight. Have a great one.' Dozens of fans also sent in personal videos that were broadcast at the event, crediting Osbourne and Black Sabbath for inventing heavy metal and thanking them for their generational influence on music.

Fontaines DC display words ‘Israel is committing genocide' on screen at sell-out gig

The phrases "Free Palestine" and "Israel is committing genocide" were projected onto screens during Fontaines DC's sold-out London concert on Saturday night. The Irish post-punk band's lead singer, Grian Chatten, captivated the 45,000-strong crowd with his commanding stage presence. Dressed in a kilt and a Sinead O'Connor t-shirt, Chatten energised the audience, at times carrying the microphone by the pole or performing empty-handed, as he moved along the gangway above the vast crowd. He rarely broke the music to speak, but dedicated one song to his 'little girl' and briefly echoed a chant of 'free Palestine' that was started by the audience. Grainy live recordings of the Finsbury Park performance and crowd played on large screens on either side of the stage. Both screens cut from the vintage-style footage to 'Free Palestine' written in the gothic font of the band's logo, as Chatten sang the I Love You lyrics: 'Selling genocide and half-cut pride, I understand. I had to be there from the start, I had to be the f****** man'. A piece of music equipment on the north London stage was wrapped in a Palestinian flag and onlookers also waved them in the crowd. Ecstatic fans of the five-person Brit award-winning band descended into mosh pits for several songs, including upbeat Here's the Thing. Their slower track Romance was preceded by a minutes-long montage of surreal clips, including a pig and a crying heart-shaped head in different snow globes. The last song finished and 'Israel is committing genocide. Use your voice' came up on the screens. Chatten closed the set with simply 'cheers London, thank you very much' and a wave. Prior to the performance, Chatten joined Kneecap, who were supporting, to perform their collaboration Better Way To Live. Wearing a silver jacket and glasses, he embraced and sang with the trio and shouted 'free Palestine'. Australian rock band Amyl and the Sniffers also warmed up for the band. Next month will see 'the second time Kneecap have beat the British Government in court', the Irish rap trio said at the gig. The crowd watched them walk on in front of a screen that said 'Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people'. People echoed the Belfast group's chants when they repeated the 'f*** Keir Starmer' and 'you're just a s*** Jeremy Corbyn' comments made at Glastonbury the previous weekend. Liam Og O hAnnaidh, who performs as Mo Chara, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court earlier this month charged with a terror offence and will return next month. Fellow member Naoise O Caireallain, who uses the stage name Moglai Bap, said 'if anyone's free on the 20th of August, you wanna go to the court and support Mo Chara' before shouting 'free Mo Chara, free, free Mo Chara'. Wearing a keffiyeh, O hAnnaidh responded: 'I appreciate it, the 20th of August is going to be the second time Kneecap have beat the British Government in court – in their own court, on their own terms, and we're going to beat them for the second time. 'I tell you what, there is nothing like embarrassing the British Government.'
