Raducanu, 22, was doing keepy-uppies with her team at SW19's Aorangi Park training base.
And before facing the Belarusian three-time Grand Slam champion, she watched the world's top man, Jannik Sinner, practise ahead of his straight-sets victory over Aleksandar Vukic.
British No 1 Raducanu said: 'I'm trying to learn by osmosis. Jannik is so effortless when he hits the ball.
'I have been trying to watch a bit more live when I am away. I watched Joao Fonseca the other day.

'I have just been practising for just an hour and ten minutes.
'I was working on a few things I will need.
'I feel good. I'm doing everything I can on my side. I know over time I'm doing the right things.'
Raducanu's 70-minute session started at 3pm and she hit mostly with colleague Adam Jones under the watchful eye of new coach Mark Petchey and good pal Jane O'Donoghue.

It was after that hit she went and watched Italian Sinner, sitting on a park bench for about 20 minutes.

Raducanu added: 'Aryna is No 1 in the world for a reason.

'She has been so dominant in the women's game as of the last few years.
'I know it's going to be a massive challenge. I'm going to have to play some really good tennis.
'I'm going to have to be aggressive but pick my moments and not kind of be overly aggressive. You can fall into that trap, too.
'I don't think I'm going to go out there and out-power her size-wise and power-wise.

'I'm going to have to try to be creative as well. I'm more confident in my own game.
'Having the direction over the last few months built over consistency has really helped.'

Paul O'Connell praised the efforts of his makeshift Ireland team after they registered an impressive 34-5 victory over Georgia in Tbilisi. Without head coach Andy Farrell and a plethora of players due to British and Irish Lions commitments, interim boss O'Connell watched his youthful side show their strength in depth with an assured display on a rain-soaked pitch. Debutant Tommy O'Brien raced over twice inside the opening exchanges before stand-in captain Craig Casey dotted down early in the second period and Nick Timoney wrapped up the scoring late on. "Very important game," O'Connell said during his on-pitch interview. "A lot of players away with the Lions and we've got a load of guys who are just dying for an opportunity. "And you wonder how they will take that opportunity, particularly as some of them hadn't played games in a little while, so I'm very happy with how they went about their business. "They had a load of intent with what they did and they were really accurate with that intent." Casey added: "Yeah obviously very happy. A bit wetter than we expected during the week. We had to adapt our game a bit and I thought we managed the game really well. "Our forwards were top-class, so we have to owe it to them. The feeling in the group is awesome, it's a great start to the summer tour. "There are a few lads making their first caps and we wanted to make it special for them and their families. Thankfully we did that."

Tommy O'Brien at the double as Ireland breeze past Georgia in first Summer test
A first-half double from debutant Tommy O'Brien propelled Ireland to a commanding 34-5 win over Georgia in Tbilisi. Despite the absence of head coach Andy Farrell and numerous players due to British and Irish Lions commitments, Ireland demonstrated their depth with a confident performance on a rain-drenched pitch. O'Brien dashed over for two tries in the opening exchanges before Craig Casey celebrated his captaincy debut with a superb try at the start of the second half. Nick Timoney wrapped up the scoring late on, whilst Sam Prendergast added 14 points during a faultless kicking display under interim boss Paul O'Connell. Former Ireland Under-20 captain O'Brien only needed two minutes to get off the mark as he latched on to Prendergast's kick and touched down next to the posts. Prendergast's successful conversion was swiftly followed by a second score for Ireland in the eighth minute. It was the same combination again as Prendergast sent the ball over the top and O'Brien crossed over in the right corner. After Prendergast added the extras to make it 14-0, Georgia mounted a response, with boos following the TMO decision to disallow Aka Tabutsadze's superb solo effort. The TMO was required again to rule out a try by Prendergast before Ireland ended the half on a sour note. Jacob Stockdale was forced to leave the pitch after an injury to his left arm and Georgia then deservedly got on the scoreboard. With the clock in the red, the hosts continued to probe the Irish defence and broke through thanks to Tornike Jalagonia in the corner. It was a poor end to a professional half, but interim captain Casey stepped up after the break. Casey stormed over inside 60 seconds after he combined with Ryan Baird to mark his first match with the armband with a try. Another Prendergast conversion was followed two penalties as Ireland established a 22-point advantage by the midway point of the second half. O'Connell started to shuffle his pack as the seconds ticked away amid heavy rain, with Tom Ahern and Jack Aungier sent on for debuts. It was followed by a fourth try for Ireland as Timoney collected a bouncing kick to bundle over despite the presence of two Georgian players. After the TMO was required to intervene, it was eventually awarded and Prendergast landed another fine kick from the touchline to finish with a 14-point haul on a successful night for Ireland's makeshift team.

Roy Keane and Ian Wright attend funeral of Celtic legend
Roy Keane and Ian Wright were among those who paid their respects at the funeral of Celtic legend John Clark. Mourners gathered in Glasgow on Friday to commemorate Clark, who passed away last week at the age of 84. The former defender made over 300 appearances for Celtic and claimed 15 major honours, including six Scottish league titles. He was also part of the renowned Celtic side that became the first British club to win the European Cup in 1967, defeating Inter Milan in Lisbon. Clark's funeral Mass took place at St Mary's Church in the Calton area of Glasgow. Following the service, the funeral cortege proceeded down The Celtic Way outside the club's stadium. Multiple stars, including the entire Celtic first-team squad, were in attendance. Keane and Wright both played for Celtic at the latter end of their respective careers, and they paid their respects to Clark. Rangers commented on Clark's passing, posting on social media: "Everyone at Rangers passes on their condolences to the Clark family and all Celtic at this sad time." At the chapel, a number of Portuguese flags were on display. It was a nod to both the scene of Celtic's European Cup triumph as well as honouring the tragic deaths of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, in a car crash on Thursday. Celtic said ahead of the funeral: "John Clark was a Lisbon Lion, a cornerstone of our greatest ever team and a dedicated servant to Celtic. We come together to honour his incredible legacy." Fans online also praised Keane and Wright for attending the funeral. One wrote: "Classy gesture from Roy Keane and Ian Wright to attend the funeral of John Clark today. They were both only at Celtic a short time when John was kitman. Just shows the impression he left on them. There will never be another European cup winner sorting kits out. God speed John." Manager Brendan Rodgers paid a heartfelt tribute to Clark, saying: "Greatness is a word people throw around, but for John Clark it is a very fitting tribute. John was instrumental in delivering our greatest day ever and his achievement is forever etched in Celtic's proud history. "John's continued presence at Celtic across so many decades I know served as an absolute inspiration to so many players, managers and staff, including myself very much. "To have him with us, as part of the club for so long has been a tremendous privilege for us all, it meant so much to us. Through his knowledge, his wisdom and his true love for Celtic, John has made such an important contribution to the club. "I know John was loved so dearly by his family, by everyone at the club and our supporters. We will all miss him so much."
