David Beckham's message to 'missing' Brooklyn on pivotal family day
David Beckham has extended an olive branch to his eldest son, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30. It comes amid the ongoing family rift, after the couple left the footballer heartbroken at missing his 50th birthday celebrations in May.
Brooklyn, who is affectionately known as Buster to his dad, was notably missing however the bash was attended by all of David's other children - Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, along with key figures from the Beckhams' close-knit clan.
The 26-year-old notably failed to share any mention of his dad's significant birthday or his knighthood, despite publicly sending birthday wishes to his father-in-law and brother-in-law on social media, reports the Mirror.
David has made efforts to mend bridges with his eldest son, in spite of Brooklyn's consistent cold shoulder. In a heartfelt nod to 'Lady Beckham' on their anniversary, David expressed gratitude to Victoria for blessing him with four wonderful children.
He shared tribute by posting a photo from their wedding in Ireland, captioning it: "26 years today you said YES to me. Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together.
"I love you Lady Beckham @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #harperseven."
Elsewhere, Brooklyn's brother Romeo had his own reasons for reaching out. Following the heart-wrenching passing of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota, Romeo conveyed a touching message to his elder brother.
Diogo and his brother tragically died on Thursday in a car accident in Spain. Romeo Beckham paid tribute to his footballing roots with a heartfelt post on Instagram, urging fans to cherish their loved ones.
Alongside a string of broken-hearted emojis, Romeo conveyed his emotions in a poignant message: "The people that truly love you and care for you will always be there."
However Brooklyn Beckham is yet to speak out, only sharing glimpses of his photoshoot with wife Nicola. The pair, who tied the knot three years prior, struck poses for Italian fashion house Moncler in London, situated only a stone's throw from the Beckham family home.
Labelled as a "love letter" to London, the photoshoot took place close to David and Victoria Beckham's Holland Park mansion, which undoubtedly added a sting.
Adding fuel to the fire, David Beckham was in even closer proximity to Brooklyn on the day of the shoot, attending the Chelsea Flower Show just a mile away.
The eagerly awaited photographs have now surfaced, showcasing Brooklyn and Nicola looking more smitten than ever. However, a source disclosed to the Mirror the underlying family tension.
They said, "The fact that Brooklyn was in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it."
The insider elaborated: "Brooklyn had kept the visit quiet from not only his mum and dad but his siblings and extended family. It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles to London and hadn't engaged at all. It would have been very easy to meet up."

'Jota embodied everything a player should be'
I spent a lot of Thursday watching Diogo Jota's final goal for striker received the ball from Luis Diaz on the edge of the area, danced round three defenders with only two touches and then wrong-footed Jordan Pickford with a clever beat Everton 1-0 and the Premier League title was all but sewn up on 2 April this gave me so much joy. Everything about last season did. From the title to the yet, what does any of it matter? Jota, a huge component of everything good Liverpool have done since his arrival in 2020, has died. He has left behind a wife and three young children. It is utterly, utterly heartbreaking and makes the time we spend worrying about football feel the happiness was real. Jota's brilliance as a footballer and a person was real, and in his death it will be is telling that none of the tributes from the footballing world speak about his sublime talent, but about his character. He was a good man. Someone who loved life and made those around him smile.I remember screaming his wonderful song as the champions' bus idled past a month or so back, as the players lifted the 20th title trophy. The same number the club are now likely to retire in Jota's is silly, but it matters and it creates feeling and purpose. Jota did that in embodied everything a player should be, really. Hard-working, tenacious, skilful and with an eye for the is so incredibly, incredibly sad - and now is the time for mourning. With Oasis just hours away from kicking off their global tour, Google has sent fans crazy with a few Easter Eggs for anyone searching for more information about the tour After 16 years of anticipation, the Gallagher brothers will grace a stage together once again as Oasis is officially back in business. But with all that hype, fans searching for more information have been left laughing at a sneaky change Google has introduced. After decades of waiting, Britpop fans are finally getting what many had dreamed of, but many thought would never happen, as the classic 90s band performs its first show since 2009 as they take to the stage in Cardiff later today. Currently the talk of the country, many intrigued fans have been googling for more information on the tour only to find a funny nod to the brother sending them in a different direction. When searching Oasis Tour, at the top of the page and above all the tour dates is the search help tool "Did you mean?". Now, although this certain box has helped correct countless typos for this one page Google have sneakily changed it to "Did you mean: madferit." For any southerners not quite up to date with Manchester slang, "mad fer it" meaning "mad for it" was a phrase Liam and Noel used to shout out in their earlier days to get the crowd going and make sure everyone was ready for a party. At one point Oasis fans were even given the nickname mad ferits. But Google wasn't done giving itself a Manchester accent with just one suggestion. Around 75,000 lucky fans will be making their way to Cardiff for the show tonight with the same again arriving for tomorrow's gig as rehearsals are well underway. A buzz has already begun to build across the city with some fans queuing up outside the stadium more than 24 hours before they're due to hit the stage in an effort to soak up the atmosphere and secure their spot when doors open. Fans who decided to brave the elements and camp outside the Cardiff stadium ahead of the tour have now been given VIP tickets to the show. ITV show Lorraine's correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the daytime show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage - and Oasis ' Noel and Liam Gallagher had noticed.
