Mega Millions winning numbers for July 18: $100 million jackpot
If someone matches all six numbers on Friday, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $44.3 million.
There have been four Mega Millions winners this year, with the most recent being the June 27 win in Virginia of a jackpot of $348 million. Before then, on April 18, an Ohio player took home a $112 million jackpot, a lucky lottery ticket holder in Illinois took home a $344 million jackpot on March 25 and another lucky person hit the Mega Millions jackpot on Jan. 17 for $113 million.

How to play the Mega Millions
To play the Mega Millions, you have to buy a ticket. You can do this at a variety of locations, including your local convenience store, gas station or even grocery store. In some states, Mega Millions tickets can be bought online.
Once you have your ticket, you need to pick six numbers. Five of them will be white balls with numbers from 1 to 70. The gold Mega Ball ranges from 1 to 24.
If you're feeling especially unlucky or don't want to go through the hassle of picking, you can ask for a "Quick Pick" or an "Easy Pick.' These options let the computer randomly generate numbers for you.
Mega Millions tickets now include a built-in multiplier, which increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or 10 times. Before, players had to pay an extra dollar to add the "Megaplier.'

Kitsap County apartments for rent saw essentially no changes in June
Renters in Kitsap County saw apartment listing prices essentially unchanged from May's average of $1,903, an analysis of new data from Apartment List shows. The average apartment listed for rent at $1,901 in June. Average listing prices in Kitsap County are trending slightly downwards from May's $1,903 price, up 4.4% from this time last year. The data is inclusive of all bedroom sizes, from studios to three-bedroom units, so while it is a good indicator of how rents are moving in the area, it does not include single family homes for rent, said Chris Salviati, senior housing economist for Apartment List. One-bedroom apartments listed to rent at an average of $1,376, nearly the same as May, when they were $1,378. Since last year, one-bedroom rental prices rose 4.3% from $1,319. Two-bedroom apartments listed for rent were basically flat to May at an average of $1,868, compared to $1,870. Since last year, two-bedroom rental prices rose 4.4% from $1,790. Statewide, Washington rental listing prices are on the rise from May's average of $1,776, at $1,789. In Washington, one-bedroom rentals were listed for an average of $1,568, 0.8% higher than May's average of $1,556. Two-bedroom rental listing prices are trending 0.7% higher than May's average of $1,745 at $1758. In Kitsap County, the average apartment listed for rent is 6% above the state average. One-bedroom rentals were 12% below the state average, while two-bedrooms listed 6% above. Nationwide, apartment rental listing prices are essentially unchanged from last month's $1,398. Kitsap County home listings asked for more money in May - see the current median price here
The median home in Kitsap County listed for $689,000 in May, up 2.1% from the previous month's $675,000, an analysis of data from shows. Compared to May 2024, the median home list price increased 8.2% from $637,485. The statistics in this article only pertain to houses listed for sale in Kitsap County, not houses that were sold. Information on your local housing market, along with other useful community data, is available at Kitsap County's median home was 2,124 square feet, listed at $337 per square foot. The price per square foot of homes for sale is up 7.9% from May 2024. Listings in Kitsap County moved steadily, at a median 30 days listed compared to the May national median of 51 days on the market. In the previous month, homes had a median of 35 days on the market.
