
Bulls win home opener, defeating Cactus Rats 6-2

The Lethbridge Bulls jumped out to an early lead, then on to defeat the Energy City Cactus Rats 6-2 Thursday in their 2025 WCBL home opener.
The Bulls struck for two runs in the second and three more in the third inning to build a 5-0 lead.
Starter Levi Abbott struck out nine over six innings, surrendering no runs, to get the win for the Bulls, who improved to 3-3 on the season.
Catcher Carter Claerhout homered and drove in three runs for the Bulls.
Attendance was 646.
Energy City – formerly the Edmonton Prospects – and the Bulls do it again Friday night at Spitz Stadium.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
