She further alleged that she has been denied access to her bank accounts, and forced to 'depend on a select few people for my livelihood'. The grieving mother also claimed that following Sunjay Kapur's death, 'some people' were attempting to wrest control of the Kapur family's legacy in their hour of mourning, She revealed that several proposals are being voted on in the AGM, including the proposal to appoint a representative of the Kapur family, but she has not been informed about these proposals.
