According to Greg Joyce of the New York Post, Loaisiga's undisclosed illness is not anything that might require a stay on the 15-day injury list. Also, the Yankees will be down a position player in their series finale against the Reds, as backup catcher JC Escarra's wife went into labor late Wednesday afternoon.
