Man charged, suspect wanted on Canada-wide warrant after fatal Scarborough shooting

A man has been charged with second-degree murder and a suspect is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after a fatal shooting in Scarborough last Monday, police say.
The shooting happened near Eglinton Avenue E. and Cedar Drive at around 8:30 p.m., Toronto police said.
When they arrived, officers found a man lying on the ground who had been shot. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
Police previously identified the victim as Jordan Thompson, 33, of Toronto.
A 24-year-old man from Toronto was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Saturday, police said in a news release on Sunday.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
A second suspect, a 31-year-old man from Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.

Police responded to the 3400 block of Beau Jardin Drive at around 12:30 a.m. after the shooting was reported. A man, 26, was found with "multiple gunshot wounds" and transported to a local hospital, police said. He later died, they added. Beau Jardin Drive is located near Jolly and Dunckel roads, just west of US 127. Police have not yet released the victim's name.
