Black Sabbath Original Lineup & Ozzy Osbourne to Reunite for Final Time Tonight
On Saturday, legendary Heavy Metal Black Sabbath will reunite for one last time in a 10-hour concert.
Thousands of metal fans will head to Birmingham's Villa Park on Saturday to see the original Black Sabbath lineup reunite for the first time in 20 years, in what has been billed as the 'greatest heavy metal show ever'.
Osbourne is well known fan for the club, and this stadium played a vital role in his childhood.
'It's my final encore; it's my chance to say thank you to my fans for always supporting me and being there for me,' Osbourne said this week.
'I couldn't have done my final show anywhere else. I had to go back to the beginning.'
Black Sabbath transformed late-60s rock into something darker, and heavier.
Their music was characterised by down-tuned, distorted guitar riffs and haunting vocals and lyrics about war, madness and the occult.
The band's self-titled debut album in 1970 is often cited as the moment heavy metal was born, and they have sold a reported 75m albums worldwide.
'Sabbath gave us the blueprint, Sabbath gave us the recipe. They gave us the cookbook, man,' Slipknot's Corey Taylor said in BBC Radio WM's Forging Metal documentary, which was released on Friday.
The concert will feature performances from a multitude of great metal bands, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, and members of Guns N' Roses and Rage Against the Machine.
Profits will be shared between three charities: Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham children's hospital and the Birmingham-based Acorns children's hospice.

Michael Douglas Quits Acting at 80
Yara Sameh Michael Douglas, who is at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival to present a newly restored print of Miloš Forman's classic 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,' — which he won an Oscar for as a producer on the 1970 classic — opened up about his future plans as an actor. The 80-year-old revealed that while he's not officially retired from acting, he has 'no real intentions' of returning to the big screen. 'I have not worked since 2022 purposefully because I realized I had to stop,' Douglas said. 'I had been working pretty hard for almost 60 years, and I did not want to be one of those people who dropped dead on the set. I have no real intentions of going back. I say I'm not retired because if something special came up, I'd go back, but otherwise, no.' Douglas last appeared on the big screen in 2023's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and starred in 2024's "Franklin", an Apple TV+ biographical series about Ben Franklin. The projects finished filming three years ago, and Douglas hasn't worked in front of the camera since. The actor did hint at 'one little independent movie' that he is 'trying to get a good script out of,' but besides that project, he has no other plans to return to films, and is 'happy to play the wife' to Catherine Zeta-Jones. 'I am happy for Catherine to go to work – and she is very busy,' he said. The topic of Douglas' future came up after he discussed his battle with tongue cancer, pointing out his course of action allowed him another decade of roles. 'Stage 4 cancer is not a holiday, but there aren't many choices, are there? I went with the program, involving chemo and radiation, and was fortunate,' he noted, adding that his friend and actor Larry Hagman died from a similar diagnosis. 'The surgery would have meant not being able to talk and removing part of my jaw, and that would have been limiting as an actor.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

Kesha Finally Drops Her First Independent Album "Period": Stream It Now
Yara Sameh Kesha, at last, is a free artist, period. After years of working toward this moment, the singer-songwriter has dropped her first-ever independent album, "." ("Period"), featuring 11 fun-fueled pop tracks. Led by singles 'Joyride,' 'Yippee-Ki-Yay,' 'Delusional,' 'The One' and 'Boy Crazy,' the LP marks her first full-length release under her label, Kesha Records. Leading up to the album's release, Kesha has been candid about how emotional and empowering the process of assuming control over her artistry has been. The singer was under contract to Kemosabe Records, despite her years-long legal battle with label owner Dr. Luke, whom she accused of drugging her and sexually assaulting her at a 2005 party in 2014. The producer has always vehemently denied the allegations, and the two parties settled in 2023. In March 2024, Kesha was finally released from her deal with Kemosabe. In a recent interview with Billboard , the artist said she feels like she's experiencing a "homecoming" with her first album. 'I really do feel like it's been a homecoming in a lot of ways — not only legally, to the rights of my voice, but to letting go of that internalized shame, of letting all that go and coming home to my own body, my joy, myself,' Kesha noted. 'And part of that has been healing my relationship with the records that I've put out that were difficult to make — that were perceived in a way that wasn't the way I intended, that were tied to events that I don't stand for.' "Period" marks Kesha's sixth studio album, and her first since 2023's "Gag Order". She's scored four top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 throughout her career, including No. 1 hits "Animal" (2010) and "Rainbow" (2017). Stream Kesha's "."
