Shardul Thakur's Romantic Selfie With Wife Mittali Sparks Buzz Ahead Of 4th Test
In the middle of a high-stakes Test series, Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur turned heads off the field with a romantic moment that melted hearts on social media. Taking a break from the intense cricketing spotlight, the 32-year-old all-rounder shared a cozy mirror selfie with his wife Mittali Parulkar inside a lift—offering fans a glimpse into his personal life and reaffirming that love truly is a game-changer. Dressed in a casual beige T-shirt and white pants, Shardul looked relaxed beside Mittali, who radiated elegance in a white dress layered with a denim jacket. The heartwarming post, shared via Instagram Stories, quickly caught fans' attention, generating buzz just days before the 4th Test at Old Trafford on July 23. — Akash Kharade (@cricaakash) July 23, 2025 Thakur's Test journey in England has been far from smooth. Picked for the first Test in Leeds, Shardul struggled to leave an impact. He went wicketless in the first innings, leaking 38 runs in just 6 overs, and although he picked up two wickets in the second innings, his expensive economy of 5.56 did little to help India's cause. With the bat, scores of 1 and 4 further highlighted his dip in form. As a result, he was dropped from the playing XI in favor of rising all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who had previously dazzled with a century at the MCG. However, cricket can be as unpredictable as it is competitive—Reddy has now been ruled out of the series due to injury, potentially opening the door for Shardul to return in the Manchester Test. Love Story of Shardul & Mittali: From School Friends to Soulmates While cricket remains central to Shardul's public identity, his love story with Mittali Parulkar offers a narrative equally inspiring. The two met during their school days, with a friendship that blossomed over time into a lifelong partnership. The couple got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot in 2023, celebrating their union in a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony. Mittali, far from being just a 'cricketer's wife,' has carved out her own identity. A commerce graduate, she initially began working as a company secretary before discovering her true calling—baking. Mittali Parulkar: Entrepreneur, Influencer, and Backbone of Shardul's Journey Mittali's passion led to the launch of All Jazz Bakery in Thane, a premium patisserie that has quickly built a loyal customer base and a reported valuation of Rs 2–3 crore. Her flair for business and creativity has earned her both financial success and social media recognition, with over 60,000 followers on Instagram. Despite the limelight, Mittali maintains a grounded presence, choosing to focus on her venture while supporting Shardul during his cricketing highs and lows. Fans admire her elegance and entrepreneurial journey, often comparing her quiet charisma to that of other high-profile cricket spouses like Anushka Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh. What Lies Ahead: Will Shardul Make a Comeback? As the Indian team prepares for the crucial 4th Test at Old Trafford, team selection talks are heating up. With Reddy sidelined and India needing a dependable all-rounder, Shardul Thakur may just find himself back in contention. His ability to swing the ball and contribute quick runs down the order could be vital, especially on an English pitch that favors seamers. This off-field moment of joy with Mittali could prove to be the emotional reset Shardul needs. A strong performance in Manchester could not only reignite his Test career but also help Team India in its pursuit of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025.

Did SEVENTEEN's Hoshi just shade BTS? ARMY and Carats clash over his Instagram activity
Back in 2019, BTS were at the height of their global dominance, sweeping awards left and right - almost effortlessly. But despite their reign, competition within the K-pop world remained fierce, and not every fan was thrilled with the results. Fast forward to today, a new fanwar has erupted over the 'Best Dance Performance - Male Group' award from the 2019 MAMA Awards, which BTS won for their smash hit Boy With Luv featuring Halsey. SEVENTEEN, who were also nominated that year for their powerful track Fear, had their fans - Carats - feeling their group was unfairly "robbed" of the title. Tensions have now resurfaced after an Instagram post revisiting the debate went viral. What ignited the flames further? SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, leader of the group's performance team, liked the post - sparking a fresh clash between ARMY and Carats across social media. BTS winning the Best Dance Performance Male Group award at the 2019 MAMA Awards SEVENTEEN's Hoshi likes an Instagram video Hoshi recently liked a video post that read: "Never forget SVT's performance 'Hit' at the 2019 MAMA, right after they lost the 'Best Dance Performance' award." On the surface, it looked like a nostalgic nod to his group's performance - but the comments underneath the post told a different story. Carats were seen claiming BTS didn't deserve the win that year, suggesting they only won because of their popularity. That, paired with Hoshi's like added fuel to the fire. A screenshot of Hoshi's like was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), with one viral post reading, "He's about to enlist so he just doesn't gaf anymore," racking up over 22,000 likes. The drama had officially begun - especially since many ARMYs hadn't even seen the original video until the screenshot started spreading. Did Hoshi really throw shade at BTS? It's all speculation, but ARMY believe Hoshi's like may have been a subtle jab at BTS, especially given the years-long debate over the 2019 award. Carats, however, insist it was innocent. Some said he may have simply appreciated his group's performance, while others pointed out the caption was in English - implying he might not have understood the post's tone or the fan commentary that followed. begging everyone to put themselves in hoshi's place. a normal person who doest gaf about fanwars liking a video of his group's dance performance with a caption saying they fucking killed it on stage even after losing the award for dance IM BEGGING HIS FANS' VIEWS ARE NOT HIS OWN Still, ARMYs pushed back, saying even if Hoshi didn't intend to start anything, the tone of the post - and especially the comments beneath it -clearly suggested that BTS didn't deserve the win. That was enough to reopen old wounds. Carats knew that Hoshi was acting shady and they approved of it by giving the tweet 22K likes. They thought he was funny and real. I saw the comments But after we knew about it, they started creating excuses for him because they realized how bitter and unprofessional he looked ARMY vs Carats: A fanwar reignites Soon, the situation spiraled. As the screenshots went viral, the original Instagram post and the X tweet were both deleted - possibly an attempt to cool the fire. But the damage was already done. What started as a like turned into a full-on fanwar, with Hoshi caught in the middle. Whether it was a genuine mistake or quiet shade remains unknown - but speculation have been running wild, and K-pop Twitter is once again divided. Both sides have shared their own narrative with ARMY being loud on why Boy With Luv deserved the award and won it on merit. That's how that one came to post "Drink responsibly" for an endorsement during the height of Yoongi's hate train and his fandom turned it into Yoongi shade... They already are(Ss notMine) More about BTS and SEVENTEEN military enlistment While all seven BTS members - Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook - have completed their mandatory military service and were discharged by July 2025, SEVENTEEN is still in the process of enlisting, with members serving one by one. Jeonghan was the first among SEVENTEEN to enlist, beginning his service on September 26, 2024. Wonwoo followed on April 3, 2025. Up next are Hoshi and Woozi, who are both scheduled to begin their service in September 2025. Woozi will enlist on September 15, followed by Hoshi on September 16. Internet Can't Handle This Cat Riding A Leopard: ‘Billi Mausi For A Reason'
Some social media users pointed out that the video looked too perfect to be true and called it AI-generated. Cats have always had a reputation for being unapologetically confident. The way they carry themselves with calm eyes and a composed look often makes people stop and wonder if the cat is judging them. Now, a video has surfaced online that takes this fearless image to an entirely new level. The now-viral clip, shared on Instagram, shows a cat sitting calmly on the front porch of a house. Everything seems normal until the peaceful night suddenly takes a wild turn as a leopard appears from nowhere. But instead of running away in fear, the cat does what cats are known for and acts like it owns the place. It stands up, lets out a meow and then surprisingly both the cat and the leopard are seen leaving together. That moment alone left viewers stunned. But the video didn't stop there. Watch The Video: Since being shared online, the video has accumulated more than eighty million views. But while the Internet showered the clip with love and admiration, many users also raised eyebrows at how unreal it seemed. Comments soon started pouring in, questioning the authenticity of the footage. Several users pointed out that the video looked too perfect to be true and called it AI-generated. A user commented, 'I was like it's too good to be true and remembered AI exists." Still, not everyone was too bothered by that possibility. 'At this point, I don't care anymore if it's AI or not. I love this cat content," another stated. Someone else said, 'The cat decided to aura farm," while a person jokingly added, 'My granny won't let the cat out after seeing this." A popular Hindi children's rhyme also found its way into the comments section. One user said, 'Billi mausi for a reason." A viewer clearly impressed wrote, 'That cat is an agent for sure." The Instagram page that posted the video has a history of sharing similar content, where the cat is consistently portrayed as the ultimate ruler. The feed is filled with clips showing the same feline in equally unbelievable scenarios. In one video, the cat is seen sitting on a whale; in another, it's perched on a panda.
