Indian markets wrapped up the June 27 session on a positive note. The Sensex rose by 303 points to end at 84,058.90, while the Nifty advanced 88.80 points to close at 25,637.80.
Among the Nifty 50 stocks, several companies recorded significant gains, led by Jio Financial Services, Asian Paints and Apollo Hospitals. Below is a detailed look at the top gainers of the Nifty 50 (as per Trendline) for the day. Nifty 50 Top Gainers on June 27 Jio Financial Services rose by 3.9% to close at ₹324.6.
Asian Paints gained 3.2%, ending the day at ₹2362.0.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise increased by 2.9%, closing at ₹7310.0.
IndusInd Bank also went up 2.9% and closed at ₹860.3.
UltraTech Cement climbed 2.4% to settle at ₹12240.0.
Adani Enterprises advanced 2.3%, finishing at ₹2644.8.
Power Grid Corporation added 1.9% to close at ₹299.0.
Bharat Electronics moved up 1.5%, ending at ₹416.4.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries rose 1.3%, closing at ₹1692.0.
ICICI Bank also gained 1.3%, settling at ₹1457.9.

The order is a variation under Clause A.6 of the original contract (P1/RS-01/2018), which covers the design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning of electrical multiple units (EMUs), and personnel training. This latest addition brings the total order value for this variation to approximately ₹430.53 crore. This development builds on the earlier contract awarded in August 2019 and reflects Maha-Metro's continued trust in the Titagarh group for delivering high-quality rolling stock solutions. The acquisition marks a strategic expansion into tier-II cities and enhances RCML's presence in southern India. Established in 2015 by Dr. Prasanthi Macha, Prashanthi Hospital is recognized for excellence in obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, pediatrics, and minimally invasive surgery. The hospital has built a strong regional reputation and continues to serve as a trusted destination for maternal and child healthcare in Warangal, Telangana's second-largest district. With this acquisition, RCML's total bed capacity increases to 2,035 across 20 hospitals in seven cities. The transaction, valued at approximately ₹32.60 crore (subject to working capital adjustments), is based on 9x estimated FY25 adjusted EBITDA and will be funded through internal accruals and cash reserves. RCML will acquire a 76% equity stake and 100% of the Non-convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (NCRPS), while Dr. Macha and associates will retain a 24% minority stake. Post-acquisition, the facility will operate under a dual brand: Rainbow Children's Hospital for pediatric services and Prashanthi with BirthRight for women's health services. Sarda Energy receives consent to operate Coal Gasifier Plant in Raipur
Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited has recently informed exchanges that the company received approval from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB), Raipur, to operate its Coal Gasifier Plant. The consent has been granted under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. According to the disclosure, the consent covers the operation of a Coal Gasifier Plant with a capacity of 3,606.15 Nm³/hr. The unit is intended for use at the company's Pellet Plant located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This regulatory approval allows Sarda Energy & Minerals to proceed with operations at the specified capacity in accordance with environmental compliance requirements.
