CONOR BENN lost £50,000 in three months on a dud Rolls-Royce.
The 28-year-old son of British ring legend Nigel banked £8million and a brand new Roller for suffering a unanimous decision loss to Chris Eubank Jr in April.

But he's still wounded by the first luxury motor he bought with his earlier purses.
Benn, speaking to Reece Mennie on his podcast, explained all about his worst ever investment.
He smiled as he said: 'My Rolls-Royce! Not the one that I just bought, but the one before.
"That's the worst investment I've ever made and it hurt me. I had it for about three months and lost £50,000 on it.

Benn and Eubank, 36, are contractually tied to a rematch with their Saudi sponsors booking the rerun for September 20.
Before then, fight fans have the undisputed heavyweight decider at Wembley on July 19, when undefeated Oleksandr Usyk goes up against Daniel Dubois for a second time.
And Benn is backing the Ukraine genius to dominate the Brit powerhouse again.

The super-welterweight said: 'I think Usyk beats every person on the planet.
'But you can't write fighters like Dubois or AJ off, they make boxing exciting.
Chris Eubank Sr held my hand in hospital and told me I'm the superior fighter, says defeated Conor Benn
'The kind of boxers that go down and get back up when you think it's lights out and pull it out of the bag.
'That makes boxing exciting, people love a bit of vulnerability and adversity in the ring.
'I think Dubois is coming off a good run and he could knock him out, but it would have to be really early.
'He can hurt Usyk of course, but Usyk is like a computer that downloads the data, processes it and does what he needs to do with it. I think he will be a lot more clued up this time with what to expect.'
Benn and Dubois have their opponents and dates confirmed but Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are still messing around regarding their comebacks.
The Iflord brawler predicts an all-English riot soon, though.
Don't buy a Rolls Royce with a body count on it!'
Conor Benn
'The fight has got to happen,' he said. "It can't not happen.
'It would seriously be so disrespectful to everybody if that fight did not happen.
' I don't really want to sit on the fence. I just think Fury's style could be all wrong for AJ, but then you can never write AJ off with the athleticism.
'I think it's now at a stage of who has got what left.
'I think it would mean more to AJ, but I don't think you can ever write Fury off, but it depends on what Fury turns up.
'I would probably have to put my money on Fury.'

England's Jess Carter targeted by racist abuse during Euro 2025 as FA involve police

England defender Jess Carter has said she has been the target of 'a lot of racial abuse' online during Euro 2025. The 27-year-old has started all of the defending champions' matches so far in Switzerland and said she will take a step back from social media to focus on the rest of the tournament. Football Association chief executive Mark Bullingham said the FA 'immediately contacted UK police' after learning of the abuse and vowed to ensure 'those responsible for this hate crime are brought to justice'. The England team, in a statement, also demanded that 'those behind this online poison must be held accountable". Writing on her Instagram account, Carter said in a statement: "A message to the fans… From the start of the tournament I have experienced a lot of racial abuse. Whilst I feel every fan is entitled to their opinion on performance and result I don't agree or think it's ok to target someone's appearance or race. 'As a result of this I will be taking a step back from social media and leaving it to a team to deal with. 'As ever I am grateful for all of the support from the genuine fans but I am taking this measure to protect myself in a bid to keep my focus on helping the team any way I can. 'Hopefully speaking out will make the people writing this abuse think twice so that others won't have to deal with it. 'We have made some historic changes with this Lionesses squad that I am so proud to be a part of and my hope is that by speaking out about this it will make another positive change for all. 'I'm now looking forward and focusing on putting all of my energy into helping my team.' The defending champions, who have previously taken a knee before matches, said in a squad statement they will remain standing ahead of the semi-final, adding: 'It's clear we need to find another way to tackle racism". Kneeling as a symbolic anti-racism gesture gained prominence in 2016 when NFL player Colin Kaepernick knelt during the US national anthem in protest against racial injustice and police brutality, and became more widespread during the Black Lives Matter movement. A team statement, posted on the Lionesses' official account on X, read: 'We stand with Jess and all Lionesses players past and present who have suffered racism. 'No one should have to endure such vile abuse, be that in football or any walk of life. 'Representing our country is the greatest honour. It is not right that while we are doing that, some of us are treated differently simply because of the colour of our skin. 'Until now, we have chosen to take the knee before matches. It is clear we and football need to find another way to tackle racism. We have agreed as a squad to remain standing before kick-off on Tuesday. 'We hope the game can come together to see what more can be done. For now, we will return our total focus to an important semi-final. 'In the meantime, we know the FA are working with UK police and the appropriate bodies. Those behind this online poison must be held accountable.' The Lionesses head to Geneva next to face Italy in Tuesday night's semi-final. A win would see them through to the final against either Germany or Spain, who play on Wednesday.

Our golf correspondent reports from the media centre and also digs out some stories behind the scenes at Royal Portrush. Takeaway talk: LIV Golf player ready to 'retire' According to a conversation overhead in a takeaway restaurant in Portstewart, one of the 18 LIV Golf players who teed up here will be leaving the Saudi-backed circuit when his contract expires. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Jason Kokrak is a member of the Smash GC team captained by Brooks Koepka |It was initially quite funny hearing someone saying over and over again that he was talking about Jason Kokrak and not Brooks Koepka, the two Smash GC team-mates. In fairness, and even more so considering he'd clearly had a few refreshments, the person knew exactly who he was talking about and also that Kokrak had filled his pockets through signing for the Saudi-backed breakaway circuit. They must still be bulging because the word 'retiring' was muttered, which instantly made this correspondent think that those ongoing talks between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf can't exactly be close to offering a pathway back to the US circuit. Sergio Garcia of Spain acknowledges the crowd on the 18th at Royal Portrush |Anger mis-managment as Sergio Garcia snaps driver Bob MacIntyre and Tyrrell Hatton had both blown their tops in the third round and it was Sergio Garcia's turn to overheat in the closing circuit. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad After badly pulling his drive at the par-5 second, the Spaniard slammed the club into the turf only to be left regretting his action as the head snapped off. That, of course, left Garcia having to play the remainder of his round using either a 3-wood or iron off the tee and, in fairness, he didn't do too badly, singing for a three-under 68. It was a decent week, incidentally, for the LIV players as 11, including Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson, made the cut. Shane Lowry's tough week at Royal Portrush ended on a high note |Shane Lowry blowing kisses at end of tough week Shane Lowry, the 2019 winner here, finished his closing circuit a good 90 minutes before the last group teed off. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad It had been a difficult week for the Offaly man as he was hit by a two-shot penalty at the end of his second round then found himself being sick a few hours later as a virus swept through his family. He departed the scene, though, blowing a kiss to the crowds around the 18th green after signing off with a satisfying 66 that contained six birdies. 'It was probably one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I've had in a while,' he admitted. 'I'm happy I finished like that, and I'll drive down the road a little bit happier than maybe I would have been.' Jordan Spieth, pictured at Royal Portrush, is looking forward to retruning to the scene of his 2017 triumph |Jordan Spieth looking forward to Birkdale boost A raft of changes, which included the removal of the old 14th and the creation of a new par-3 15th, have been made at Royal Birkdale, venue for the 154th Open Championship. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad But that won't stop Jordan Spieth, the winner at the Southport venue in 2017, enjoying a walk down memory lane in 12 months' time. 'I haven't been there since and it will be really cool to just go out there and play the course again,' said the American. 'It'll be cool to relive the memories that I had from the whole week, and obviously the last five holes or so.

Emmerdale fans hit out at dullest villain in soap's history

Meanwhile, he then found Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) unconscious during a home visit, but left him to die, as he came up with a plan to attempt to frame him for Nate's death. Instead of calling an ambulance and getting help, John wrote a note on Owen's laptop, 'confessing' he killed Nate. 8 Most Iconic British Soap Characters of All Time Emmerdale fans slam 'boring' villain John Sugden on ITV soap But viewers don't seem too impressed with John's tactics as many on Reddit claim he is the 'most boring 'serial killer/villain' they've ever seen'. Someone's post on the r/emmerdale subreddit said: 'I know this sounds super morbid but c'mon, am I alone in thinking we've been waiting ages for him to get really 'villian-y'?!' They added: 'I've been waiting for this man to go full-on psycho, otherwise, we've just suffered along with this boring story for close to a year now to watch him squirrel around the village with rolled up sleeves 24/7, act like a weirdo, and talk about how great of a medic he is??' This fan agreed: 'You nailed it! He's BORING.' Another wrote: 'I think he bores himself, hence the need to feel that high of bringing folks to the brink of death and then playing hero to revive them.' One person commented: 'His rolled up sleeves are the most interesting thing about him.' While this profile responded: 'Yes, he is so boring easily the dullest and most uninteresting serial killer in soap history.' However, some disagree and think John is an 'interesting' character. This viewer explained: 'The weird need to be a saviour, the fact you can tell he feels guilty about his actions (especially Nate) yet can't bring himself not to do it again or hand himself in. Soaps That Have Won the Most Awards 'I've enjoyed the slow burn and seeing how his actions have managed to go undetected so far. 'I'm very much looking forward to seeing the truth come out and how he reacts and how the rest of the village will react too.' Also in agreement, one viewer shared: 'I enjoy him! He's a quieter, calmer, different kind of villain'. They revealed the character is better than the 'usual' sort of villain the soap has become known for, 'with dramatic murders, unrealistic kidnappings, and over-the-top hostage situations'. The fan continued: 'Of course I say this and John's probably going to kidnap somebody at some point. Hopefully not though. 'But I enjoy that they're playing it like he's just a desperate guy who does kind of bad things for selfish reasons. I think the hero complex angle is quite fresh for soap. 'We are getting a decent insight into his guilt and feelings and such through the helpline calls and just his whole haunted demeanor, which adds to the complexity. I guess it's just not that engaging for some people. 'Maybe it's missing a bit of backstory to tell us why he's like this, I'm not sure.' Recommended reading: This person, who is also a fan of John, said: 'I like him. He's not written or acted like your typical soap villain, which makes him interesting to me. I think if he hadn't been paired with Aaron - who brings down every character he's tied to - his reception would have been better.' Someone else who enjoys John's character chimed in: 'I like him, think he's quite nuanced and layered - hate him but that's what makes him enjoyable.' How do you feel about John Sugden on Emmerdale? Let us know if you think he's a good soap villain in the comments below.
