In a recent chat with Nayandeep Rakshit, Avantika Malik opened up about her ex-husband Imran Khan as a father to their daughter Imara. She shared, 'I have utmost respect for the father that he is and utmost respect for how involved and invested he is in Imara and how much he loves her and how he expresses his love for her. Absolutely. I think that a lot of being able to let go of my own issues and anger and resentment, whatever I may have been carrying vis-à-vis our relationship, I think I could let go for this reason. So I was like, this is the most important thing. If you can maintain this and you can be a wonderful father then that's all that mattered, at that point.'

When asked if they can be friends, Avantika replied, 'I would hope, I would hope. But we don't… not really. It's civil, it's cordial. But friends is a very strong term. We're not there yet. Maybe with time.'
On the work front, Imran has been away from the silver screen since his last release Katti Batti, opposite Kangana Ranaut. According to buzz, he is all set to make his acting comeback with a project titled Adhure Hum Adhure Tum. This film will reportedly arrive on a digital platform.

This Actress Started Bold, Married Into Royalty And Was Even Linked To Imran Khan

1/10 In the film industry, it is often believed that an actress's career comes to an end once she becomes a mother. However, one actress defied this stereotype by beginning her career after marriage and motherhood, making a striking impression with her debut. That actress is Moon Moon Sen, who captivated audiences in the 1980s with her beauty and style. Despite the controversies that surrounded her, Moon Moon Sen left an unforgettable mark on the industry. Beyond acting, she also ventured into politics, achieving success there as well. Moon Moon Sen hails from a wealthy background. Her grandfather, Adinath Sen, was a successful businessman, and her mother, Suchitra Sen, was a celebrated Bengali actress. In 1978, Moon Moon Sen married Bharat Dev Verma, a member of a royal family and a businessman. The couple has two daughters, Riya and Raima Sen, both of whom tried their hand at Bollywood but did not find much success. Moon Moon Sen started her film career at the age of 30, after she was married and a mother, surprising many with her bold choices. Her debut film was Andar Bahar (1984), followed by notable roles in films like the thriller Sheesha (1986) with Mithun Chakraborty, the horror romance 100 Days (1991) alongside Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff and the action drama Zakhmi Dil (1994) with Akshay Kumar. She also starred in Sirivennela (1986), Mohabbat Ki Kasam (1986), Musafir (1986), 12B (2001) and the horror romance Kuch To Hai (2003). Moon Moon Sen appeared in a total of 60 films and over 40 TV shows across Bengali, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi cinema. Her performance in Sirivennela earned her several awards in 1987. Before entering films, Moon Moon Sen studied English Literature and taught at a school in Kolkata. She is also an Oxford graduate. Later, she joined Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress to pursue a career in politics. Moon Moon Sen's personal life attracted significant media attention. She was linked romantically to Saif Ali Khan, producer Romu Sippy, Victor Banerjee, and former Pakistani cricketer and ex-prime minister Imran Khan. Reports suggested she and Imran Khan dated while she was married, and the two even posed for a magazine shoot. In a 2019 interview with PTI, Moon Moon Sen addressed these rumours, explaining she enjoyed Imran Khan's company and saw no problem as her husband was understanding. She clarified their relationship was purely friendship.
