AvePoint launches new command centres to boost cloud resilience

AvePoint has announced a set of updates to the AvePoint Confidence Platform, including the introduction of new command centres and expanded security capabilities for agentic AI deployments.
The recent enhancements to the platform consist of the launch of the Optimization and ROI Command Center as well as the Resilience Command Center. These additions are designed to provide organisations with centralised oversight to drive cost savings, manage data resilience, and support governance as more enterprises adopt multi-cloud strategies and artificial intelligence technologies.
Drive for operational efficiency
A key feature of the new command centres is their aim to help organisations manage operational pressures more effectively. The Optimization and ROI Command Center offers a consolidated view intended to uncover cost-saving opportunities throughout the data landscape, including integrated license management, information lifecycle management, and strategies to consolidate and optimise cloud storage.
According to the company, research shows that 92% of organisations are planning to implement cost reduction measures by decommissioning unnecessary infrastructure, reviewing vendor agreements, and leveraging automation. The platform's new command centre aims to address these goals directly by providing actionable insights in a single interface.

Whether organisations are looking to optimise costs, scale AI safely, or govern data across multiple clouds, the AvePoint Confidence Platform provides the unified intelligence and control they need to transform operational pressure into strategic advantage."
Data resilience in a multi-cloud world
The Resilience Command Center is focused on supporting organisations as they adopt increasingly complex, multi-cloud environments. With 89% of enterprises using multi-cloud strategies to limit vendor lock-in and improve operational resilience, AvePoint's new feature is intended to give comprehensive oversight into data resilience across these diverse setups.
This command centre provides monitoring and insights for Microsoft 365 services, including tracking storage consumption, overseeing backups, and making recommendations for cost and protection optimisations. The tool's capabilities are set to expand to cover additional platforms such as Salesforce and Google Workspace in 2025.
Enhancing agentic AI security
AvePoint has also introduced expanded AI management within its platform, reflecting the increased adoption of agentic AI across enterprise software. According to Gartner, it is predicted that by 2028, agentic AI will be present in 33% of enterprise applications, compared to less than 1% in 2024. This growth anticipates 15% of day-to-day business decisions to be made autonomously.
Recognising that every AI agent deployment becomes a new endpoint requiring oversight, the platform updates include enhanced governance tools for Microsoft Copilot agents, scalable security deployment across AI rollouts, expanded prompt monitoring, and detailed recommendations for reporting and management.
Hodges remarked that the platform's aim is to unite risk and resilience management, cost optimisation, and governance of artificial intelligence in a single ecosystem. This, the company states, enables organisations to maintain control over increasingly complex data operations.
Strategic direction for the Confidence Platform
The new features are part of AvePoint's intention to provide centralised control and intelligence across data, cloud environments, and AI agents. According to AvePoint, its Confidence Platform is used by more than 25,000 customers globally within Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce collaboration environments, supported by a worldwide network of managed service providers, resellers, and integrators.
The company's expansion of its command centres and AI capabilities is positioned in response to changing data management challenges, driven by the growth of multi-cloud usage and the rapid emergence of agentic AI within enterprise IT environments.

Leaders occupy the highest positions across both axes, reflecting vendor capabilities and ongoing advancement in the field. Gartner analysts report that these distinctions are based on comprehensive, fact-based research and support organisations seeking to align strategic decisions about data protection with the particular needs of their business. KnowBe4 has announced a strategic integration with Microsoft, aimed at improving email security for organisations using Microsoft 365. The announcement details that KnowBe4 Defend will work alongside Microsoft Defender for Office 365, specifically integrating with its quarantine functionality. This collaboration is part of Microsoft's Integrated Cloud Email Security (ICES) initiative, and it marks the first such partnership in the programme, establishing a new approach for security vendors to work together. Integrated strategy According to KnowBe4, the Defend platform is designed to complement Microsoft 365's existing protections by introducing agentic AI methods for advanced inbound threat detection. The integration is intended to allow organisations to retain their investment in Microsoft's security tools while benefiting from an additional, purpose-built layer of threat identification and response. "This new collaboration is driving meaningful innovation in cybersecurity. By combining Microsoft's email and collaboration security infrastructure with KnowBe4's leadership in human risk management and robust threat detection capabilities, organizations can now capitalize on a truly integrated defense strategy that benefits from the unique strengths of both platforms. We look forward to offering this to our global customers to help them enhance their security efforts," said Stuart Clark, VP of Product Strategy, KnowBe4. Detection and response The integration creates multiple concurrent layers of analysis, which KnowBe4 states will increase the likelihood of detecting and preventing threats from reaching end users. The combined capability draws on Microsoft Defender for Office 365's quarantine processes and KnowBe4 Defend's AI-based detection mechanisms. The set-up is intended to support existing investments in Microsoft security while enhancing the breadth and depth of threat analysis. Beyond improving threat identification at the point of entry, the combined platforms provide unified Security Operations Centre (SOC) tools. These are designed to speed up incident investigation, support root cause analysis and enable tactical responses, ultimately offering organisations greater visibility and control over email threats targeting their workforce. Focus on human risk management KnowBe4 positions itself as focused on human risk management in the cybersecurity sector. The company states it supports organisations in strengthening their security cultures and managing risks associated with human behaviour. Its AI-driven Human Risk Management platform includes modules for training, compliance, real-time coaching, crowdsourced anti-phishing, and AI-based defence agents, all aimed at empowering employees to make better security decisions. The company claims to be working with over 70,000 organisations globally, delivering a suite of security tools designed to adapt and respond to evolving cybersecurity threats. The HRM+ platform aims to transform end users into effective components of an organisation's overall security posture through education and active participation in identifying threats. The ICES ecosystem The strategic partnership with Microsoft places KnowBe4 as the first vendor to join Microsoft's ICES vendor ecosystem, which seeks to foster collaborations with select security firms. The ICES programme is intended to offer Microsoft 365 customers a broader set of defence capabilities by encouraging interoperability between Microsoft's platforms and specialist security vendors. With this integration, customers can continue to use Microsoft 365 and Defender for Office 365 services, while having the option to add an extra layer of AI-powered detection and response without duplicating existing resources or disrupting their operational processes. The collaboration is expected to provide a model for future integration between Microsoft and other security companies within the ICES framework. Salesforce has released Agentforce 3, an upgrade to its enterprise AI agent platform designed to address key challenges faced by organisations scaling artificial intelligence implementation. The latest version introduces features that enhance visibility and control for enterprise users, moving AI agents from experimental use to full-scale deployment. More than 100 prebuilt actions, expanded interoperability options, and a centralised suite of tools for managing hybrid workforces are among the major enhancements. Agentforce Command Centre Agentforce 3 introduces the Command Centre, marketed as the first real-time observability suite specifically for hybrid workforces. It provides business leaders with a unified interface to monitor performance metrics across both AI agents and human team members. This monitoring is integrated into business key performance indicators (KPIs), aimed at supporting data-driven management and optimisation of workflow processes. The Command Centre includes dashboards detailing agent adoption, feedback, success rates, costs, and specific topic performance, enabling teams to analyse usage trends and identify areas for improvement. The system records all agent activity in a session-tracing data model leveraging Data Cloud and is compatible with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, and Wayfound through the OpenTelemetry standard. Teams and supervisors can also receive live analytics on latency, escalation frequency, and error rates with real-time alerts for anomalies, enabling prompt interventions to maintain service levels. For contact centres, agent activity can be monitored in real time, permitting quick performance escalations. Interoperability and Prebuilt Integrations Agentforce 3 expands interoperability with native support for open standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent Protocol (A2A). The platform also integrates with more than 30 partners, including services such as Stripe, Box, Atlassian, AWS, Cisco, Google Cloud, IBM, Notion, PayPal, Teradata, and WRITER via its expanded AgentExchange. Built-in interoperability is intended to allow AI agents not only to communicate with one another, but with broader enterprise applications, creating a more connected digital workplace. Deployment and Usability The update aims to reduce deployment times, with over 100 new prebuilt industry actions and flexible pricing designed to enable companies to deploy agents within days rather than months. The new architecture underlying Agentforce 3 promises improvements in accuracy, latency, resiliency, and model control, the latter of which addresses the requirements of regulated industries. Agentforce Studio is a central space for building, testing, and optimising agents with the assistance of real-time analytics. It provides tools to simulate agent behaviour at scale and generate topics or test cases using natural language, with the goal of assisting teams in developing and deploying agents more efficiently. Customer Adoption Several organisations have already adopted Agentforce, including New Zealand-based companies such as Fisher & Paykel, Urban Rest, and Farm Focus, which cite benefits including task automation, enhanced customer engagement, and the ability for staff to focus on complex, people-centred work. According to Salesforce, Engine, Grupo Globo, PepsiCo, UChicago Medicine, and 1-800Accountant have reported measurable improvements: Engine reduced its average customer case handling time by 15%, 1-800Accountant autonomously resolved 70% of administrative chat engagements during the peak tax season, and Grupo Globo saw a 22% increase in subscriber retention. Adam Evans, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Salesforce AI, commented on the platform's development trajectory: "With Agentforce, we've unified agents, data, apps, and metadata to create a digital labour platform, helping thousands of companies realise the promise of agentic AI today," said Adam Evans, EVP & GM of Salesforce AI. Evans added: "Over the past several months we've listened deeply to our customers and continued our rapid pace of technology innovation. The result is Agentforce 3, a major leap forward for our platform that brings greater intelligence, higher performance, and more trust and accountability to every Agentforce deployment. Agentforce 3 will redefine how humans and AI agents work together — driving breakthrough levels of productivity, efficiency, and business transformation." Ryan Teeples, Chief Technology Officer at 1-800Accountant, described their experience with the system: "Agentforce autonomously resolved 70% of 1-800Accountant's administrative chat engagements during the peak this past tax season, an incredible lift during one of our busiest periods. We've established a strong deployment foundation and weekly are focused on launching new agentic experiences and AI automations through Agentforce's newest capabilities. AI Agent Adoption Trends Salesforce cited a soon-to-be-released Slack Workflow Index showing a 233% increase in AI agent usage in six months, with 8,000 customers signing up for Agentforce deployment during the same period. The platform is presented as a response to enterprise demands for improved governance, tooling, and observability in large-scale AI agent operations. Agentforce 3 is now available globally, with tools and integrations focused on supporting enterprise clients as they expand AI adoption within their organisations.
