Téa Leoni marries 'Madam Secretary' husband Tim Daly: Reports
The "Madam Secretary" costars tied the knot over the weekend in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family on Saturday, July 12, in New York, a rep for Leoni confirmed to People and the "Today" show.
The pair met on set of the CBS political drama in 2014, before the series aired for six seasons through 2019. On the series, Leoni, 59, plays the secretary of state, while Daly, 69, plays an ethics professor and her husband.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Leoni and Daly for comment.
Leoni has been married twice: to TV commercial producer Neil Joseph Tardio Jr., from whom she split in 1995, and actor David Duchovny, with whom she has two children, including actor West Duchovny. The former couple divorced in 2014.
Daly was married once before, to Broadway actress Amy Van Nostrand. They share two children.
The couple has been mostly private with their romance, save for the extremely occasional social media post. The couple made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner in 2015 and appeared on the red carpet for the film "Accidentally Brave" in 2024.

Jenna Bush Hager Admits Her Husband Isn't Thrilled About Talk Show Chatter
Jenna Bush Hager Admits Her Husband Isn't Thrilled About Talk Show Chatter originally appeared on Parade. Jenna Bush Hager has stepped into her role as a daytime talk show host with ease. For many, the mother of three has brought a lot of joy and light with her role on Today, from chatting about her home life with her kids to taking part in various segments. However, there's one thing about her role on TV that her husband, Henry Chase Hager, isn't super thrilled with. "I think it's in the same vein as when you're writing," Bush Hager said on the July 16 episode of Today in regard to sharing things about her three children. 'You're like, 'Wait, whose story is this? Am I telling my story or is this posting because the kids are doing something really cute?'" Bush Hager noted that her husband is very mindful of the family's privacy — especially when it comes to their kids, Mila, 12, and Poppy, 9, and Hal, 5. "One of the great things about Henry is he always is thinking that way. He just believes we should have privacy as a family. So if I say something — maybe on this show — that gets pickup, he gets grumpy about it," Bush Hager continued. The former first daughter takes her husband's opinion seriously and has given it some thought. 'It helps me realize that I should be better for Mila, for Poppy and Hal," she said. Nevertheless, Hager is still the ever-supportive husband and, back in March, he made his Today co-hosting debut alongside his wife. Jenna Bush Hager Admits Her Husband Isn't Thrilled About Talk Show Chatter first appeared on Parade on Jul 16, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 16, 2025, where it first appeared.

Instant Emmy prediction data shows ‘The Studio' and ‘Severance' out to early leads, with ‘Hacks' and ‘The Pitt' lurking
A day after the 2025 Emmy nominations were announced, Gold Derby is unveiling our first snapshot of winner predictions in the 26 categories to be presented live on CBS on Sept. 14. A caveat: This data is based on initial polling of our experts, editors, and users; expect the races to vacillate and tighten as we collect more input and get closer to the ceremony. Comedy For the comedy genre, The Studio is expected to win three of the seven top races: Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Actor (Seth Rogen), and Best Comedy Directing ("The Oner"). Apple TV+'s new show made Emmys history with 23 nominations, the most ever for a freshman outing. Rival series Hacks, which won the series race last year, is also out front in three categories: Best Comedy Actress (Jean Smart, who is so far undefeated), Best Comedy Supporting Actress (Hannah Einbinder, who has yet to win), and Best Comedy Writing ("A Slippery Slope"). Finally, Shrinking is poised to get on the board with a victory for Best Comedy Supporting Actor (Harrison Ford, who's celebrating his first-ever nomination). 'Good Trouble' protest locations: See where demonstrations are planned in Alabama
Tens of thousands of people are expected to turn out across the country this week, including in Alabama, for a day of action protesting President Donald Trump's administration and honoring the legacy of the late Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis. The protests, "Good Trouble Lives On," are expected to take place in dozens of cities and towns on July 17, five years to the day since Lewis' death. The 17-term congressman, who led some of the most seminal demonstrations during the Civil Rights movement, popularized the phrase "good trouble" when speaking of nonviolent protests and acts of civil disobedience as a way to challenge infringements on civil rights. Planned protest locations in Alabama are listed for Anniston, Auburn, Birmingham, Center Point, Cullman, Dothan, Fairhope, Fort Payne, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa. For details, see the "Good Trouble Lives On" website. Organizers are calling the July 17 "Good Trouble" protests a response to "the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations" from the Trump administration. More: These two Alabama cities rank among top sites for growth in small business activity The coalition of organizations behind protests were also behind the nationwide "No Kings" demonstrations on June 14, which drew millions of participants across 2,100 locations, according to the group's estimates. Overall, there have been monthly nationwide protests against the administration and its policies since April, and the "Good Trouble" protests mark the fourth major day of action since Trump took office in January. As of Tuesday afternoon, July 15, "Good Trouble" protest organizers said their RSVP count is at 126,000 people, with more than 1,600 events planned. Map: 'Good Trouble Lives On' protest locations Locations include major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Dallas, Austin, Columbus and Charlotte. Events are also planned in Alaska and Hawaii, and in the Trump family's home base of Palm Beach, Florida. Here's a look at where demonstrations are planned, according to protest organizers: If you're looking to attend a protest near you, considering checking the "Good Trouble Lives On" website for specifics about timing, location and more.
