Hun Manet confirmed his participation in a posting on his Facebook page late on Sunday.

'I will lead a Cambodian delegation to attend a special meeting in Kuala Lumpur hosted by Malaysia. I'd like to thank Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his initiative and coordination to organise and host this special meeting,' said Hun Manet.
Manet is expected to hold high-level talks with acting Thai Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai to de-escalate the growing armed confrontation between the two countries.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in Putrajaya on Monday at 3 pm.
Anwar, who is also chair of ASEAN, last week proposed brokering a peace deal with the two warring parties after a border conflict erupted.
Tensions have been simmering since a May 28 skirmish between Cambodian and Thai forces in the Preah Vihear area, in the northern part of the kingdom.
For decades, the two ASEAN member states have been involved in a protracted and bitter dispute over an 817-km non-demarcated border that spiralled into a bloody conflict in northern Cambodia last week.

Kedah NGO praises PM's ceasefire success amid criticism

ALOR SETAR: The Kedah MADANI Youth Association has defended Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's role in securing an immediate ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia, calling it a historic diplomatic achievement. Association chairman Datuk Zuraidi Rahim criticised those mocking the effort, stating it undermines Malaysia's credibility as ASEAN Chair. Zuraidi was responding to a social media post by PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, which allegedly belittled the PM's mediation. 'This is a success all Malaysians should celebrate, not insult. Such remarks damage our diplomatic standing,' he said. The post, which included a screenshot of a news report on the conflict, drew public backlash. Zuraidi revealed that 10 police reports had been lodged by him and seven PKR division chiefs in Kedah, urging authorities to investigate Ahmad Fadhli. Padang Terap PKR division chief Mohd Tahar Hussin echoed the sentiment, demanding stern action. 'This involves security and humanity—it's no laughing matter,' he said. - Bernama

Meanwhile, Clause 4 is aimed at replacing subsection 12(1), enabling the government to suspend any investigation if it receives a pledge from exporting members agreeing to a price adjustment, or to eliminate or limit subsidies. Additionally, Clause 5 seeks to amend Section 12A on countervailing duties imposed under Act 504, stipulating that such duties shall not exceed five years, either from the date of imposition or from the date of the latest expiry of the review period. Clause 10 replaces subsection 27(1), enabling the government to suspend any investigation if it receives an undertaking from exporters to adjust prices or cease exporting to Malaysia at dumping prices.
