Sana'a (Saba) - Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Mohammed Al-Mahdi, announced the profits of the Postal Savings Fund for the year 2024 AD at 12.50 percent free of usurious interest for the fifth year in a row.
Minister Al-Mahdi indicated that the profit percentage of the Postal Savings Fund for this year is distinguished through the investments made by the Authority through legitimate means.

Attendees explored ways to turn these challenges into opportunities through coordinated efforts and role integration among various stakeholders. Minister Al-Rubaie stressed the vital role of the agricultural and fishery sectors in reducing import costs. He emphasized the importance of aligning with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the Change and Development Government Program as key foundations for preparing and implementing agricultural and development plans—especially through the value chain methodology. He described contract farming as a promising opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency in various crops, promote exports, and substitute imported goods with locally produced ones. Raymah – Saba: The Executive Office in Raymah governorate held a meeting on Monday, chaired by Governor Faris al-Habbari, to discuss the key directives for improving service delivery, development performance, and mobilization efforts for the current year 1447 AH. The meeting, attended by Raymah undersecretaries Mohammed Murad and Fahd al-Harithi, as well as Director of Public Mobilization in the governorate Mohammed al-Nahari, reviewed a report by Director of the Executive Unit for Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Abdulmalik Jahaf. The report highlighted the unit's accomplishments, including the implementation and ongoing execution of 17 agricultural projects at a total cost of YER 94.349 million. The report also addressed challenges facing these projects and proposed solutions. Coordinator of Bunyan Development Foundation in the governorate Majid al-Sharjabi presented a report on the progress of community-led initiatives across the districts. A total of 342 initiatives in the fields of roads and water infrastructure were either completed or underway, with a combined cost of YER 1.302 billion. Additionally, Director of Financial Resources at the governorate's main office Ali al-Judei delivered a briefing on local and shared revenue collections from January to May of the current year. The session also discussed preparations for the sixth phase of the open military training courses titled "Flood of al-Aqsa," and the role of local authorities in ensuring the success of these programs across the governorate and its districts. Governor al-Habbari stressed the need to enhance institutional performance in the upcoming period, especially amid the ongoing aggression and blockade. He called for unified efforts and solidarity behind the political leadership to thwart all plots and break the siege. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening internal unity and raising public awareness to confront the aggressors and foil their schemes targeting Yemen's land and people. Governor al-Habbari urged all executive office leaders to intensify their efforts, fulfill their duties, and improve their departments' performance under current difficult conditions. He also encouraged broad participation in the open military training programs, which are crucial for boosting readiness in the face of continued aggression. Ramallah - Saba: Huda Al-Wahidi, Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy in Palestine, said that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip caused widespread damage to the telecommunications sector, destroying approximately 74% of its assets. According to the Sanad News Agency on Monday, Al-Wahidi stated in a speech during the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Board of Directors meeting in Geneva that direct losses to the telecommunications sector in Gaza are estimated at $164 million, as a result of the destruction of 580 cellular towers and major fiber networks. According to a statement by the Ministry of Telecommunications, the expected economic losses over the next five years are estimated at $736 million. Al-Wahidi warned of the continued deterioration of the digital infrastructure in Gaza, stressing that the Strip is experiencing an "unprecedented crisis" that has caused widespread disruption to telecommunications services. She criticized the absence of any practical steps to implement UN Resolution 1424 (2014), which relates to the reconstruction of the Palestinian telecommunications sector. She called on the ITU Council to develop an urgent implementation plan to implement the resolution. Calling for the protection of the digital infrastructure from Israeli targeting, which has almost completely destroyed the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
