Love Island is like Hunger Games…I'm 30 & still never had boyfriend – here's reason I blame show, says Olivia Hawkins
The 30-year-old says fellas never ask her out after she was first painted as a troublemaker in the villa in 2023 — then again during her return for this year's All Stars version.

In fact, the beauty, who has been an actress and a ring girl, claims she has never had a proper 'boyfriend'.
In an exclusive chat with the Sun on Sunday, Olivia said the telly dating contest reminds her of the brutal fight for survival in dystopian movie series The Hunger Games because 'you never know when you're going to be dumped'.
She explains: 'It can feel competitive with everyone the same age, feeling like you're at risk of being dumped.
"I find dating hard because the majority of people I meet have watched Love Island, or know of my character on the show. It's hard not to be prejudged.
'I was the villain of the villa. They just saw me as a fiery character. Now I get told I'm quite intimidating. Men don't approach me because they think I won't be responsive.
'But that's a misconception. I'm the most approachable person ever. Men think I'll be hard work, and of course I like the finer things in life, but I provide that for myself.'
Recalling how the programme affected her, Olivia adds: 'After Love Island, I got to a point where maybe I just lost myself a bit.
"You've been painted as this one person, and then it's almost like a persona that you think, 'Oh, that's obviously not me, but do I have to keep that up?'.'
The Brighton -born beauty, who starred in James Bond film No Time To Die with Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas, is now taking part in another TV show, Celebs Go Dating, in search of romance.
During her first Love Island appearance, she coupled up with Will Young, Haris Namani and Kai Fagan, but was accused of being hypocritical and instigating toxic antics that made at least one of the lads cry.
"She slated the boys who kissed new women behind their original partner's back, despite female friends also doing that.
And when she took part in All Stars, she was branded a troublemaker again for seemingly trying to split Luca Bish and Grace Jackson.
Despite dating a string of hunks — including EastEnders star Max Bowden, who plays Ben Mitchell, and fellow islander Jack Fowler — she feels her reputation has put men off committing to her and hopes that will soon change with Celebs Go Dating.
She says: 'All I want is a partner to be there for me and be my soulmate, and to have a shoulder to lean on. I'd just love someone to take me for being me and get to know the person away from the screen.
'I felt like I really had to try and prove everyone wrong or show a different side to me.
'But really, I needed to just put myself first, and as long as I'm happy with myself, that's all that matters.

'My romantic life has been a real journey, a rollercoaster. I've never been in a relationship. Throughout my twenties, I really settled for the bare minimum and I didn't, I guess, realise my worth.
'I'm now finally at that place where I just don't want to settle for any less. I don't need to put up with a d**khead.
'I know what I bring to the table, so if someone else can't match that, then my time is so precious, as is theirs . . . I don't want to waste my time on anyone.'
Olivia will put her romantic fate in the hands of matchmakers Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson on Celebs Go Dating, which kicks off on E4 on August 11.
She will be joined on the show by singletons Kerry Katona, Christine McGuinness, S Club 7's Jon Lee and The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett.
They will be paired with non-celebrity strangers the TV experts believe could be perfect for them — and fans will see the couples then go on a string of dates.
After the brutality of Love Island, Olivia says she is enjoying the process. She explains: 'On Celebs, you're never dumped unless you do something really bad!
'Sod the haters'
'That is the nicest part about it. I have full control and I'm not competing with anyone.
'But also, it's in my hands to make sure I'm making the right decision for myself. And I really do feel like I put myself first on this series.'
Olivia insists she knows what she wants in a man, revealing. 'At this stage in my life, looks only go so far.
'I've met some absolutely gorgeous men and it just hasn't been there because the personality wasn't there to match. Sometimes, guys can be so attractive and that's all they rely on, and that makes them unattractive.
'I definitely wouldn't say looks are the be all and end all. I don't want to get to 90 and think, 'Oh, the only reason I went for him was because he was 6ft 5ins and so good-looking'.
'I want to be like, 'Haven't we had the best life? We've laughed so much'.
'I need banter. I can't have someone super-sensitive, because I am quite sarcastic. So someone that can give it back to me — that's playful — and I really wanted someone communicative and considerate.'
Revealing her dating priorities, Olivia says: 'I need someone that's family orientated. I can't compromise on that.'
The Celebs Go Dating stars got a baptism of fire on the new series with a singles night straight away, where they had to pick a match to take on a sun-kissed trip to Ibiza.
And despite spending weeks on national TV wearing just a bikini, Olivia says she was more nervous walking into that party — or a 'mixer', as it is called on the show — than she was entering the villa.
'I've never been so nervous,' she admits. 'I know it's ridiculous, but because this was more focused on me and my journey, it's different.'
Olivia hopes that by showing her vulnerability, fans will finally see a different side to her. And if they don't, she is past caring.
She says with a laugh: 'Sod the haters. They're always going to be there. I don't worry about other people's opinions. I just live life and be happy.'

Ex-Game of Thrones star makes history after breaking deadlift record AGAIN and his celeb fans rush to congratulate him
Ex-Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson has broken the world deadlift record again after benching an impressive 505kg. The actor and bodybuilder, 36, who is best known for portraying The Mountain on the series, proudly shared the achievement over on his Instagram during the weekend. It's not the first time he's made history, as back in 2022 he competed in the same challenge and became the champion of lifting a whopping 500kg. Taking to social media on Sunday, the GoT star wrote: '505kg WORLD RECORD! History made again' alongside the video. Celebs including Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger commented on the video, celebrating his win. Hafthor barely even flinched as he squatted down to lift the mind-boggling amount of weight. He could be seen straining as he completed the exercise in perfect form - beating World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall to the crown. The former World's Strongest Man who played a bone-crushing character in the hit show consumes three meals and three snacks daily, all adding up to 8,000 calories. The Icelandic native said they are vital to maintain his Herculean frame — with the 6-foot 9-inch strongman weighing in at 423lbs. Revealing his daily meal plan in a YouTube video, Bjornsson said every morning begins with three eggs, 1lb of cooked rice, half a cup of strawberries and two cups of milk. He also has a shake that consists of one cup of orange juice, nearly one cup of Skyr yogurt and half a cup of blueberries. He then returns to the kitchen for a 'snack' of a 4oz steak, nearly two more cups of rice, half a cup of vegetables and an avocado. He has the same for lunch, skipping the avocado, before washing everything down with another shake without the blueberries. The amazing win comes not long after the actor and his wife Kelsey shared an emotional post on the anniversary of the devastating day they lost their daughter. Back in November, the Icelandic strongman and his wife expressed their grief as they mourned their baby girl Grace with a poignant, joint Instagram post. Björnsson and his wife lost their second baby after suffering from a miscarriage. In a lengthy post, the couple addressed their daughter: 'One year. 365 days have passed since your day of birth. 366 days have passed since we learned of your death in my womb. One year, 365 days, without you here, with us.' The pair included photos of the brief time they had with their baby daughter. 'You didn't get to feel the comfort of my arms or breast. You didn't get to look up and see my face or your daddy's face. 'We didn't get to see your first smile, your first tooth, your first giggle. We didn't get to clap and cheer when you first sat up or pulled yourself to stand,' they wrote. 'So many firsts that we will be missing for the entirety of our lives.' The pair explained that they were sharing their post to bring awareness and reduce the stigma of miscarriages and pregnancy loss.

Love Island fans praise Conor as he delivers stern warning to Harry after his actions are exposed at the Grafties

The Grafties award ceremony completely changed the dynamic in the ITV2 villa as relationships came crumbling down. 8 Conor Phillips gave Harry Cooksley a stern warning in the villa Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 8 Harry's flirty conversations with Shakira were exposed at The Grafties, leaving Helena devestated Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 8 The footballer then admitted that he felt just a 'friendly' connection to Helena Credit: Shutterstock Editorial In recent weeks on Love Island, Helena Ford became exclusive with the professional footballer. After this, Shakira Khan ended her partnership with Conor as she claimed that she had 'suppressed emotions' about her former partnership with Harry. Later, Harry pulled Shakira for a chat where he flirted with her and suggested that it would "be a good idea" for the duo to meet up after the show. Later, this clip was shown to all the islanders on the big screen leaving Helena fuming and the rest of the islanders in shock at his behaviour. "I trust someone, and there's a level of respect there. And, like, the level of respect isn't there. "Because for me, what is the crack like? What's the story like? Is it just sort of a thing where you want what you can't have? "Why are you doing this? Because you're prodding her [Shakira], because she's trying to get over [you] and she's trying to move on, but flirting with her and stuff is still prodding her. "And so what is like? What is that for? I'm so close to Shakira, [I can see] how actually hurt she is, her experience in here is nearly ruined. "Then obviously having a situation, like her experiences here is nearly going to be ruined if she doesn't get over this." He added: "And for what reason like just, that's what I'm trying to know." Love Island star Harry makes very honest confession to Shakira as they chat after explosive Grafties and Helena split Harry then said that hearing what Shakira had to say in their conversation on the steps inside the villa "changed things for him". But Conor warned Harry to properly think about the connection he does share with Helena before he makes a rash decision. "Just before you do anything with Helena, just think about honestly what you do want, because I don't know if Shakira will [get back with you]," he continued. "I'm only trying to say that as a friend, it's just that f******, you might end up with nobody. Connor added: "Just think about what you have first with Helena. And like, I think it's quite rare to be honest, like, what, like, what you do have." This is when Harry thought that his partnership with Helena was "more friendly" and his connection with Shakira was more "relationship focussed". Conor replied: "That's fine. Man, that's like, you know, that's how you feel. "No one can blame you for how you feel, but you just need to communicate it man. Just think about honestly what you do want, because I don't know if Shakira will [get back with you] Conor Phillips "You know what I mean? Rather than coasting along and then people getting blindsided." In his beach hut confessional, Conor couldn't help but dissect the situation further. "I don't feel bad for Harry unfortunately. You're [a] 30 year old man, I think you should maybe know a bit better than to play around with people's emotions like that." Droves of fans took to social media to praise Conor for his stern words after watching scenes. A second quoted: "Connor 'I don't feel sorry for Harry … he shouldn't play with people's emotions … he's a 30 year old man," followed by three clapping hand applause emojis. "One thing about Conor is he's gonna tell the truth," stated a third fan. As a fourth said: "Liked how Conor really asked the right questions and showed that's not fine how he acted." Adding: "He also kept it to himself what Harry said until Helena sorted her relationship with him. ‘America's favourite dancer' joins Strictly line-up
'America's favourite dancer' will join Strictly Come Dancing. Alexis Warr, who was given the accolade in 2022 for winning the television show So You Think You Can Dance, will seek to make a similar impression on British audiences when the new series airs this autumn. She will be joined by another newcomer, Julian Caillon, the Australian ballroom dancer and physiologist. The announcement comes amid changes to the Strictly line-up following a series of scandals on the show. Giovanni Pernice was left out of the 2024 line-up following an accusation by Amanda Abbington, the actress and former dance partner, of 'inappropriate, mean, nasty and bullying' behaviour in training. He was cleared of any physical wrongdoing following a BBC investigation, but a complaint was upheld for his use of 'belittling' language. Fellow Italian Graziano di Prima was initially confirmed for the 2024 series, but was let go by the BBC after reports of misconduct with his partner Zara McDermott. In an Instagram post at the time, he wrote: 'I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it's best for the show that I step away.' Warr said: 'I've admired Strictly for years, so joining this incredible family is such an honour. I can't wait to step into the ballroom, pour my heart into every moment, and share my love of dance with the UK.' Caillon, who shares videos on social media of his work training with the elderly, added: 'I've watched it for years, especially cheering on all the amazing dancers I know and work with who've been part of it. I can't wait to get stuck in, have some fun, and be part of something special.' The new pair will join fellow professionals Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.
