.
The overall styling of the new SR 175 remains the same as the 160, with no major changes in styling. The scooter continues to get 14-inch alloy wheels on both ends with 120 section tyres. It features telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a 220mm disc up front and a drum brake at the rear, and it gets a single-channel ABS. In terms of features, the scooter now features a colour TFT instrument cluster, similar to what we've seen in the RS 457 and Tuono 457. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity with call, text alerts, music controls, LED lighting and more.
The biggest change now is that the scooter gets a newly developed 174.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with a 3-valve setup pushing out 12.92hp at 7,200rpm and 14.14nm at 6,000rpm, marking a noticeable bump in performance compared to the SR 160, which produced 11.27hp and 13.44nm.
